I'm 10-11DPO and just had BFP on a digital. I know it's incredibly early but looking at a due date March 3rd 2019!

Hi all,
Can I join please? Abot 4+4 today with dc2!
Had a cp the month before last so am crossing everything this sticks. Have been testing daily for past week but going to try and cut that habit now for the sake of my bank balance!
Has anyone had any early scans? When is the earliest you think it's worth it? I'm desperate to check everything is ok!
Will have a read back through the thread in a minute and catch up on everyone!

Wow there's so many people now I'm struggling to keep up. Congratulations to everyone. @villageFete that's such a happy ending for you! My friend is currently doing through IVF with no luck. I've yet to tell her my news, that's something I'm not looking forward to. Feel very guilty!
I'm so jealous with everyone having early scans. Looking forward to my first appointment tomorrow though 😁

@VillageFete my LMP was 17th June and conception was 7th July! Gap and community midwife took EDD based on 17th June so I'd say you're spot on taking it from 18th! They said dating scan would amend that at 12 weeks if further behind with measurements. I agree with this also my usual is frequent urination and I don't feel it has increased. Maybe with being pregnant our bodies use more so maybe need to drink more?!

TopsyTurvyK29 I totally appreciate you worrying about telling her (been there!) But remember, she wants her own baby, not yours. It might secretly hurt her deep down that she is struggling when others aren’t, but I know I was always so happy for those who managed to conceive, I knew my time would come. I’m sure she will too.

AngelMiracle Were you tracking ovulation? I wasn’t, as don’t normally ovulate, and I thought hell would freeze over before i’d ever conveive naturally. I just know I only had sex on 6th and 7th, so must have ov’ed around then?

@VillageFete yeah had been using the CB opk the last couple of months. I got peak fertility on the 6th and on 7th I thought I had a burst cyst the pain in my left ovary was excruciating! So I assume it was ovulation - a nice big egg I had low progesterone last month so thought this was causing issues. Conception was CD21 and those calculators assume ovulation is day 14! I'll not worry if babe measures 1 week behind!

Angelmiracle I remember the pain I was in on 7th! I was in Alcatraz, and my stomach was so swollen, and something felt really off. I was so uncomfortable around my ovaries. That must have been ovulation?
How to do measure your progesterone? Bloods? I have some progesterone pessaries here from my IVF cycle. I’m going to ask tomorrow if I need to take them.
I just done an online calculator based on conception date and it says i’m 4 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I assume they won’t see much at my scan tomorrow then?

Yes got bloods done to confirm ovulation. Progesterone was 27.1 last month which is an ovulatory cycle but it's still on the low side! Yeah technically 2 weeks are added on for your ovulation period but ours was a 3 week period from bleed to conception if that makes sense. So baby may possibly measure smaller. And you might have difficulty seeing much in the scan. There should be a fetal pole and yolk sack present - vaginal scan would be best chance if any! Good luck you will be fine xx

Anyone else struggling with this heat? I feel really faint and light headed. I had to get in a cold bath last night 😂

@Angelmiracle hello! How was your v cheap IC? Mine has a definite but such faint line still! I did a digital this week too...! Going to try stop for a few days now!

@AssumeItWasSomethingClever I am not coping!! Having such heat attacks - suddenly start sweating so much! I'm a v hot person anyway so add extra hormones and it's not good!!

@Firsttimer16. It's awful! I'm the same... I feel the hot/cold very easily so I'm just sitting in my office sweating trying not to pass out. People are either going to realise I'm pregnant or think I'm having an early menopause. It wouldn't be so bad if everywhere wasn't so stuffy and you could actually get some air!

Just had a scan but they couldn’t see a pregnancy sac... I know I only conceived on either 6th or 7th July though so they didn’t seem surprised not to see anything. Got to see a Dr now and get bloods. I’m terrified. I can’t believe they didn’t see anything!

Hi peeps! Got a bit of a shock when I tested positive last week, had only just started trying again after several months off and only dtd once - my husband is very pleased with himself! Am trying not to get over excited as have had 2 chemical pregnancies in the past at around 5 weeks, and am now only 4+3. Have got everything crossed that this time it sticks 🤞 definitely feel different this time, really tired and have had a cracking headache for nearly a week now so hoping that means something :) Hope to see lots more of you all x

Village I am sorry about the scan. How many weeks do you think you are now? I wonder whether it's just too early. Will you be able to see a doctor soon?

TheOneWithTheBaby Well I only conceived 2 weeks and 3 days ago. I remember exactly as we were on holiday. My test lines are nice and strong though? I am praying it’s just too early. I can’t take no more!

Phew, my bloods were 275. Dr was pleased with this considering conception date. She said no way would they see preg sac for another week though. Getting bloods repeated on Thurs. Wish me luck!

Hi! Is anyone travelling whilst pregnant? We've just found out and have a trip to Bali booked, not sure what to do and really stressing out because of the whole Zika thing. My GP told me the risk is so minimal it would be silly to cancel the holiday.

Is anyone else cancelling their holidays?

@VillageFete good luck hun I'm sure all is fine! It is probably because it was 3 weeks from beginning of 'cycle' to conception and scan is a week early. I'll maybe hold off doing an early scan as scan will at 10 weeks (when I'm prob 9!!) It's so confusing! I was the opposite way with DS he was conceived day 8 😂

@CatalinaCatarina I'm away at the moment and am planning another trip for either September or November time. Realistically won't get a holiday for a year or 2 once baby is here so making the most of he opportunity whilst I can.

@CatalinaCatarina We are going to Disney Paris I'll be 8 weeks. Im thinking I'll be in the full throttle of sickness and fatigue. But I bought the park tickets the week before BFP so I'm not cancelling now! But I imagine it's going to be very full on 6 days on our feet

@Firsttimer16 aw those stupid cheapies are not dark at all!! A line but only 50% of the control. Nurse used those cheapies when I was 8 weeks with DS they were dark by then. Ive one more cheapie and Im done. What did your digital say?

@catalinacatarina I'm going away this week, but just in Europe then we will probs go on holiday further afield in October/November time. We started talking about babies towards the end of last year so all of our holiday destinations this year have been planned with a possible pregnancy in mind. I think it depends on what you'll be doing. Like, if you're going to be proper backp Iacking then that's one thing but if you'll be in a resort most of them time then it's probs ok and your GP doesn't seem too concerned. Hi Lumia

@CatalinaCatarina we're going on honeymoon at the end of October to Mauritius. Getting married at 20 weeks is going to be different to what I envisaged the day being. Baby is very much wanted just a bit sooner than planned!
