I'm 10-11DPO and just had BFP on a digital. I know it's incredibly early but looking at a due date March 3rd 2019!

6 weeks 3 days after getting a BFP on Saturday. First timer here, less than 2 months of trying so feel lucky to have it happen so quick. But very much aware of it being early days though. Still doesn't feel real! NHS calculator showing due date of 17 March ☘️ head still spinning, who's with me?!

Danielle48 · 16/07/2018 21:49

Anyone else quite light on the symptoms? I'm 5+6 today and apart from a few spells of nausea, back ache and occasional mid cramps - I'm symptomless!
Although I have been having the runs more frequently than usual.

Trying not to think the worst as with my miscarriage I had horrendous symptoms right up until I finally miscarried - but you can't help but worry can you!

TrevorJ · 16/07/2018 22:41

Got my BFP today so jumping in. Due 25th March with #1. Considering a private week 8 scan...

@Eva30 fractured metatarsal, doesn't hurt much to walk on so no need to hobble but no running on it, take around 2 months to 'heal' so should fit your needs. Oh and its doesn't get bandaged or anything.

Eva30 · 17/07/2018 05:07

Congrats tevorj It's a good idea - I've booked one for 7 weeks and I can't wait already!
Ah that's brilliant, I will use that one it is perfect, thanks

LuckyKitty13 · 17/07/2018 05:40

@Danielle48 I'm 5+4 and have no symptoms at all! Perhaps I'm a little more tired? But that could be the heat also!

HidCat · 17/07/2018 06:43

@Eva30 I'd go with the ankle injury, just have flare ups every so often lol. I actually do have a calf injury that does that! Although @TrevorJ has a good one!

Congratulations @Eva30 @TrevorJ @ballanj!

littleredlady · 17/07/2018 06:50

@thewanderlust YES! It's 35° here and I truly can't handle it... It's making me feel exhausted. To make matters worse, I worked hard to find us a hotel with an outside pool, and realised that it's saltwater - which seems to be a no-no in the first trimester in case of bacteria. It's like a cruel joke 😂

But I'd do anything for this little peanut so I'll be fine... I hope you're enjoying the Spanish sun a wee bit! x

TheWanderlust · 17/07/2018 07:38

@littleredlady sounds like we've got similar temperatures. Luckily we've got a pool so I keep throwing myself in to cool off.

No saltwater? Guessing that rules out any sea swims for me then... I'll have to read up as not heard of that before.

Can you sit with your legs in maybe and just not your body? Otherwise it definitely seems like a cruel joke!

angel0071987 · 17/07/2018 07:53

I was in the sea last week all the time. I just won't head into any jacuzzis or hot water tubs/pools where bacteria can multiply and grow. I never heard the sea thing before.

Mandalaface · 17/07/2018 08:40

Is it normal to have headaches and feel a bit like you have cold symptoms? Never got this the first time round, so wonder if it's a bug or pregnancy symptoms.

HarlennJerome · 17/07/2018 09:10

Mandalaface (sorry I can't figure out how to tag people) yep runny/ blocked nose can be a symptom as can a headache.
I have had both so far too, banging headache for 5 days before missed period, and snot situation sorry for the tmi, I'm writing it off as mild hayfever lol

MrsLCW · 17/07/2018 09:58

Hi all,
I'm heading for an emergency scan this morning after bleeding on and off for a few days.
I'm trying to remain positive but in my heart after an early and late MMC this past year I'm not too hopeful! X

KDiddle91 · 17/07/2018 10:15

Hi all.
Got my bfp yesterday and still in shock lol due 18th March going by NHS due date calculator. Very excited Grin

Baby160P · 17/07/2018 11:05

Random one.

Does it matter how faint the line is on a HPT?

I'm being paranoid, had a early scan last Monday and all was fine.

Yesterday my symptoms went and boobs not so sore.

Had a panic.

Did another test today and the line doesn't look that strong.

I need to look at my other ones when I get home to see if they're different or if I'm going anxiety crazy!!!

TrevorJ · 17/07/2018 11:24

@MrsLWC how you getting on with getting a scan? Thinking of you. X

Charlotte1x · 17/07/2018 11:52

Thinking of you @MrsLWC

Good to see you on here @TrevorJ ! X

Jodie1122334 · 17/07/2018 12:09

@Baby160P I think I remember reading somewhere that as you get over a certain threshold of hcg the tests become inaccurate, as they're made to pick up small amounts of hcg and not high readings?

Just remember it is better for bump if you are healthy and anxiety free so try not to worry yourself. I know it's hard though! I'm only 4+4 and already so paranoid about everything! One of the reasons why I won't be doing any more tests as I know I will over think the line xxx

Jodie1122334 · 17/07/2018 12:09

Thinking of you @MrsLCW , fingers crossed all is fine xxx

Baby160P · 17/07/2018 12:27

@Jodie1122334 very true words.
I have been having a search and it does say that about hgc. 🤞🏼

Baby160P · 17/07/2018 12:27

@MrsLCW thinking of you xx

MrsLCW · 17/07/2018 13:14

I honestly cannot believe I'm writing this but By some absolute miracle we have a healthy baby with a big strong heartbeat measuring a few days ahead of where we expected 😍 Words can’t describe my relief!!!

TurquoiseWeekend · 17/07/2018 13:18

Just had our first midwife appointment and it's made us both so excited! It all felt a bit more real! It was just lots of paperwork and questions and having blood taken but my midwife and the student she had with her were both so lovely.
So glad we've got an early scan booked for this Sunday because I'm not sure I could wait until 12 weeks to know everything is ok.

@MrsLCW I'm so pleased for you, that's brilliant news GrinThanks

TrevorJ · 17/07/2018 13:24

@MrsLCW amazing news!! What was the heart rate? How many weeks? At least you can chill now Grin

Baby160P · 17/07/2018 13:27

@MrsLCW amazing!!!

AtHe5292 · 17/07/2018 14:11

I also cannot stop doing tests to see if line gets darker!! How many weeks are people having their scans? Do you have to wait until 12 weeks? I am 6 weeks and I dunno if I can wait that long!!!
