I'm 10-11DPO and just had BFP on a digital. I know it's incredibly early but looking at a due date March 3rd 2019!

@frankiefumbles oh wow, sounds like the exact opposite then lol! Have you seen those side by side cots? It's a way of co sleeping but with reduced risks. Maybe he'd go for that? Vaccinations can be a difficult topic for people too. I'm sure there's no reason why you can't have them spread out more though.

pushit · 11/07/2018 09:33

Sidecot was a winner for us last time. I could still see her and touch her and roll her off me after a feed, but no chance of rolling on her which I often had nightmares about.

frankiefumbles · 11/07/2018 10:53

@pushit and @HidCat yes...I think the cot at the side of the bed will the compromise! Don't want to get ahead of myself now...! Let's get the baby out first!!!!

JessicaFaithH · 11/07/2018 10:55

So I've been feeling tired the last few days but today has reached a whole new level. It's not even 10:55 am and I just want to curl up and go to sleep. I've nearly cried in work because I stared at the scanner for 20 minutes and couldn't remember how to use it (I've used it daily for the last 2 years) and I feel like I can't actually remember how to do my job.

How is this happening? I'm 6 weeks pregnant not 6 months - how do I feel so affected already?!

It's so much harder when no one knows because I just look like I've lost the plot

angel0071987 · 11/07/2018 12:21

Tentatively joining please. 2days late "period" today and got a very faint positive. This is immediately after a m/c that was actually my 2nd in a row. So not entirely sure that the dating is correct but suspect around 4weeks give or take.
Don't really want to get my hopes up this time after being so excited the previous 2 times and it ending in sadness at 8 weeks and 6 weeks. But have to share the news with someone!
Trying to remember what I felt like with my ds (will be one week off 2 when it's born!) but can't think and analysing every little sign and dreading going to loo Incase I spy blood again.

Baby160P · 11/07/2018 13:34

I'm due 25th February. Joining this thread as not far ahead! 👶🏻

HidCat · 11/07/2018 14:45

@angel0071987 congratulations on your positive. Keeping everything crossed that this one sticks. I had a Mc back in January and there are a few others on knicker watch too. How are you feeling so far?

@Baby160P welcome to you too!

angel0071987 · 11/07/2018 15:04

I'm actually feeling fine. Just weeing loads and very tired (but that could be due to running after a toddler!). Can't seem to remember when my sickness kicked in last time. Although last time had very badly and could barely keep upright due to extremely low blood pressure. Can't be dealing with that again seeing as got toddler to look after.

SoBoredOfWaiting · 11/07/2018 15:21

Hi all, what vitamins are you taking currently? I am on folic acid but didn't know if I should be thinking of going to pregnacare vitamins or something as well? X

PurpleFlower1983 · 11/07/2018 15:34

@Baby160P I obviously spoke too soon! I’ve felt horrendously sick today too!

Baby160P · 11/07/2018 16:03

@PurpleFlower1983 how many weeks are you? It's hit me like a hammer today too!
I hate being sick so normally would starve myself but feel I can't.

Vitamins wise I take pregnacare original which has the folic acid in it.

PurpleFlower1983 · 11/07/2018 18:17

I’m almost 7 weeks. I’m hungry all the time so I eat but I think that makes it worse!

I take Pregnacare too.

Danielle48 · 11/07/2018 18:23

@SoBoredOfWaiting I'm taking seven seas as pregnacare seem to make me so sick - even when eating on a full tummy! The ones I take have folic acid too along with all the other vitamins - oh and ginger aswell haha. Supposed to help with the morning sickness.

When did the symptoms really kick in for everyone? I thought mine had the other day but it's died down again now. I'm only 5 weeks tho so don't want to get too worried and start overthinking things.

HidCat · 11/07/2018 19:10

Another on Seven Seas here. Had loads of symptoms a week ago but seem to have eased now. Peeing frequently though and can feel the ligaments have relaxed a bit. A little bit of gas and the good old runs but that's it, for now...

newatbabystuff · 11/07/2018 19:24

Mine kicked in properly just as I turned to 6 weeks - the last week has been the hardest so far (i’m 6 +6 today). Sick every morning then feel nauseous most of the day, very tired and then i get woken up during the night by cramps/stretching in my uterus area. Lovely!! So glad i’ve confided in someone at work otherwise i have no idea how I’d hide it - have also forgotten how to do some of my job! This whole growing a human thing is very distracting but i’m quietly very excited about it Smile

newatbabystuff · 11/07/2018 19:26

Have any of you told family yet? I’m thinking of telling my parents this weekend as it would feel weird going to see them and not saying - probably will tell DPs parents too. Nervous!!

I told my mum the day I found out. She hasn't shown much interest or asked how I am at all since.
Thought I'd tell her we've booked in an early scan for next week, thought that might kickstart some sort of interest.
She told me it was unlikely I'd see a heartbeat and that she didn't want to see me get hurt again (I've had a previous MC, hence the reason for wanting a reassurance scan in the first place).
What a thing to say to a pregnant, already worried woman!! Needless to say I didn't invite her along to it like I was planning to.

myotherbagisgucci · 11/07/2018 19:54

@TurquoiseWeekend I'm shocked!Thats a really shitty thing to say to someone, never mind your daughter! I had a scan with DD at 6 weeks and we saw a beautiful little heartbeat!

loveisland · 11/07/2018 19:58

@Danielle48 I'm 5+5 and I had sore boobs and morning sickness about 4 days before my period Sad going to be a long 1st trimester never joke about how morning sickness doesn't exist as you didn't get it with 1st baby.... karma is a bit*h

TurquoiseWeekend · 11/07/2018 19:59

I was shocked too. She's a very blunt, not very maternal mother at the best of times, but I sort of just wanted mothering a bit!
I ended up just saying "ok right, well don't get too excited for me will you"
That was yesterday and I haven't heard from her since. Can't bring myself to stress about it. More important things going on!

loveisland · 11/07/2018 20:00

@TurquoiseWeekend how far along will you be? I'm having a scan some point next week as I'm spotting on and off and they want to check things Sad so nervous, my mum was a little funny too about it!

JessicaFaithH · 11/07/2018 20:06

@newatbabystuff I'm so happy someone else feels like this! The forgetting how to do my job nearly had me in tears in work.

I can't wait for next week when I tell my boss - want to tell mums first this weekend and then I have a couple of people to talk to. Suddenly realising why you don't see anyone for a few months before they announce they're expecting. It's so hard to appear normal in public and not explain why you're so tired / why you're crying at nothing!

TurquoiseWeekend · 11/07/2018 20:08

@loveisland I'll "officially" be 9+5. But I'm almost certain I'm at least a week behind that, which is another reason I wanted an early scan, to try and work out the dates.
Sorry your mum was funny too, it's horrible not getting the reaction you expected isn't it.

Millymolly91 · 11/07/2018 20:36

Can I join please? Smile I got my bfp last week and due around March 18th if all these calculators are correct! It would be our first baby together and I’m keeping everything crossed that this one sticks after losing one in March this year. I’m sorely tempted to go for an early private scan as apparently I won’t even see a midwife or anyone until 8-10 weeks! Is it worth it do you think? Also has anyone else developed an addiction to poas to see their lines getting darker?!
