How did your appointment go @fuckmyuterus?

FuckMyUterus · 23/07/2018 10:25

It went fantastically! Everything is fine, couldn't get the NT measurements though so need a blood test at 15 weeks

FuckMyUterus · 23/07/2018 10:26

Looks like I need a name change :/

sexnotgender · 23/07/2018 10:26

Yay!!! So pleased for you. Hopefully it will put your mind at rest somewhat?

purplesmiler · 23/07/2018 11:00

@FuckMyUterus really pleased your scan went well. Great news.

Jigglyjugs · 23/07/2018 11:01

Hey everyone! Ahh I've had this cold and horrid headaches all week Sad. Can't wait until Thursday as I'll be off work from the afternoon for a week and a bit, so hoping to relax.

Glad everyone's scans have gone well, they are amazing to see! @fuckmyuterus, baby didn't want to play ball for my sonographer either, had to go back in (which was nice) bit bloods came back quickly and thankfully everything is ok - hoping yours will become back quickly with good results! I'm starting to show now, although it does just look as though I've gone to town on a box of doughnuts Grin

FuckMyUterus · 23/07/2018 11:15

Definitely, I feel much calmer and happier now! :)

purplesmiler · 23/07/2018 15:17

Anyone else had hair growth in new places? I seem to have a couple of strays on my breast!

Thamantha · 23/07/2018 15:36

@purplesmiller I definitely have had extra hair growth, and thicker and darker in places where it used to be quite fair.

@fuckmyuterus glad to hear the scan went well!!

sexnotgender · 23/07/2018 16:46

I’ve pretty much turned into a circus freak. Slightly disconcerting Confused
Ok so it’s not that bad but hair is definitely a bit wilder than usual

FuckMyUterus · 23/07/2018 17:55

I have hairy toes, feet, hands and fingers! Not loving that part!

Wowthisisreal · 23/07/2018 18:15

Wowthisisreal · 23/07/2018 18:38

Lovely picture! Have you had a guess at the sex?

FuckMyUterus · 24/07/2018 07:26

sexnotgender yes, I think it's a girl from the nub, obviously nothing is 100% though. Anyone else still absolutely exhausted? I thought this would have passed by now, but I am genuinely still as tired as I was at 6/7/8 weeks.

sexnotgender · 24/07/2018 08:07

I’m still exhausted, not sleeping well though so don’t know if it’s pregnancy or my current situation.

FuckMyUterus · 24/07/2018 10:00

Oh no, hope everything is okay! I sleep like a log every night and still wake up knackered, I also have a nap every afternoon, I'm sleeping around 12-14hrs a day.

purplesmiler · 24/07/2018 10:35

Just had my scan baby was sat upright
and waving so cute. I had to go for a walk to try and get baby to lay down which worked so they could do measurements. Been moved forward 3 days so now due 30th Jan. Just waiting for my consultant appointment. So happy.

FuckMyUterus · 24/07/2018 10:47

Yay purplesmiler so happy for you! And we're almost due date twins... I'm due 31st January!

sexnotgender · 24/07/2018 12:12

Great news purplesmiler!!

Have we all had our scans now?

Kate123cl · 24/07/2018 12:44

Hi ladies! Any chance I could join?? I'm due on 29th Jan and my dating scan is this Thursday! X

sexnotgender · 24/07/2018 12:45

The more the merrier Kate.

FiftyShadesOfDuckEggBlue · 24/07/2018 13:01

Had my scan last week. Due date moved forward by 4 days to end of January. Amazing to see the little one but it still feels so unreal! Most days, I feel okayish during the daytime and then it's like I switch off after about 6 pm. For the last 3 days I've been feeling sluggish all day however, and the heat and having a very spirited toddler around definitely don't help. Our house is constantly a tip (partly because we are making some big changes in two rooms) and I have so much to do at work. Counting the days until my summer annual leave.

Does anyone have developed an aversion to cooked food in general? All I seem to want to eat is pastries (unhealthy, I know) and orange juice. There are dishes I used to enjoy that I can't stand the thought of at the moment and, as a result, DP often has to finish off my dinner. My first pregnancy was similar.
