wowthisisreal if it's no better tomorrow or you develop a temperature, please go and be checked out, I had pleurisy a year ago, and that is exactly how mine started. It's horrifically painful :(

purplesmiler · 20/07/2018 21:40

@chickita04 I suffer with migraines usually and have found I have had more frequent headaches some migraines in recent weeks. I have found the fore head balm helps.

@Wowthisisreal It is possible that it is pregnancy related as the strain can impact different areas. I think having to sleep in different positions has caused some of this for me.

FuckMyUterus · 22/07/2018 21:01

Ladies it's my 12 week scan tomorrow, I've had some awful spotting this week, so I'm beyond nervous, although it seems to have stopped now. Anyone else due another scan anytime soon??

purplesmiler · 22/07/2018 21:35

@FuckMyUterus mine is Tuesday, I've been waking in the night and struggling to get back to sleep as it's so on my mind. Hopefully the sporting will stop now hun. What time is your scan?

Wowthisisreal · 22/07/2018 21:37

Thanks @FuckMyUterus and @purplesmiler it feels better today - I think a couple of decent sleeps on it have sorted it out.

Headaches aplenty today. This weather definitely makes things worse!

Best of luck for your scan @FuckMyUterus x

Wowthisisreal · 22/07/2018 21:37

Woahhhhh all the bold 😱

FuckMyUterus · 22/07/2018 22:52

9am, so not gonna be waiting all day. I'm just dreading it though, I sat and thought about it earlier and I actually couldn't breathe and had palpitations just thinking about it.

purplesmiler · 23/07/2018 06:52

@FuckMyUterus hope all goes well this morning.

Woke up feeling a little sick this morning and my boobs are so sensitive at the moment.

jennac · 23/07/2018 07:16

@FuckMyUterus thinking of you this morning - hope all goes well

I'm now coming up to 17 weeks and everything has gone quiet. Occasional nausea if I don't eat regularly but apart from that it would be quite easy to forget that there's anything going on! I have midwife appointment on Thursday so looking forward to that as it's been over 6 weeks since I saw anyone pregnancy related! Still haven't told work and only a select few people know so my life is still quite normal!

FuckMyUterus · 23/07/2018 07:36

Thank you ladies. I feel if I can just get through today and be told baby is fine, I can relax a little bit. (in reality I know I'll be totally neurotic until baby is born)

sexnotgender · 23/07/2018 07:45

Hope it all goes well today @fuckmyuterus

sexnotgender · 23/07/2018 07:46

Feeling very fat with morning and running out of clothes to wearSad

purplesmiler · 23/07/2018 07:50

@sexnotgender I keep rotating the same 4 dresses as they are the only thing that fits comfortably.

Just noticed a few spots appearing on my face I read this can happen with the hormones.

FirstBubba83 · 23/07/2018 07:51

Hi all,
Hope I’m not too late into the group. This is my first pregnancy, and I was wondering if insomnia is common? This is the third night where I’ve not had more than 4hrs sleep!

I’m 13+4, so due on 24th Jan, and had my scan last week. I’ve been on an emotional rollercoaster since... all anxiety based.

@FuckMyUterus Hopefully all goes well for you today.

sexnotgender · 23/07/2018 07:54

I’m struggling to sleep but that’s mostly due to the screaming family staying in my house. Seriously considering moving out until they are gone.

chickita04 · 23/07/2018 08:26

@sexnotgender they're still there? How long are they with you for?? I can't deal with my partners mother for more than an afternoon let alone any longer. Feeling for you!

helloworld88 · 23/07/2018 08:48

Any ideas in regards to the nub theory?

sexnotgender · 23/07/2018 08:53

Another 2 weeks. I’m tearing my hair out.

I’ve cried so many times and I’m not a crier at all. They’re seriously affecting my mental health.

purplesmiler · 23/07/2018 08:56

@sexnotgender really feel for you and another two weeks wow I would be tempted to have a couple of nights away you deserve a break.

chickita04 · 23/07/2018 09:04

@sexnotgender wow why so long!? Can't you go and stay with your family for a few days break? So hard having people stay in your house bless you. Is your partner understanding?

sexnotgender · 23/07/2018 09:05

I’m going to need fucking therapy never mind a breakConfused
Genuinely don’t know how I’m going to cope for another 2 weeks.

sexnotgender · 23/07/2018 09:09

It’s so long because they’ve travelled from South Africa and Hong Kong so it’s to ‘make it worth their while’.
My husband is understanding however he struggles as he doesn’t get to see his family that often so wants to spend time with them.

sexnotgender · 23/07/2018 09:11

Sorry for being a moan I’m just totally overwhelmed.

purplesmiler · 23/07/2018 09:20

Your not moaning hun your going through and emotional and physically exhausting time.

sexnotgender · 23/07/2018 09:38

Thanks, I’m utterly exhausted from anxiety due to them being here and not sleeping properly.
