@Shallen, it stops falling out when you're pregnant but then all comes out in one go! So will thankfully (hopefully!) All grow back in one go too!

Thanks so much @sailing123 that's really useful, I'll give the stretches a whirl. It seems to be better in the morning and worse at the end of the day.

My hair seems to be growing quickly too, my roots are ready for a touch up again after only 2 weeks... my nails are growing like wildfire as well!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 14/08/2018 10:21

So we've discussed movement patterns and reduced movement etc....

Where are people feeling movement? I only seem to be feeling anything at the centrally at the front or to the right?

GreenGooner · 14/08/2018 11:00

Hi @another I'm currently just monitoring as I've not felt much today compared to usual. I've still felt bits but it feels weaker. I'm just debating whether to call the midwife or give it another hour.

Mine tends to be on my knicker line or level with my belly button to the right. I've got a high anterior placenta though and 24+6 today.

Emma198 · 14/08/2018 11:18

Sometimes it's really low down, below my knicker line, sometimes it's a few inches above my belly button, I get it right across. Sometimes it's right in my bum which is weird. She's obviously active in there! Although i think head to toe shes meant to be over 30cm long now so she wouldn't really have to move to punch me really low down and kick me really high up. 25+1 today 😊

I've had kicks everywhere @AnotherOriginalUsername far left, far right, down onto my bladder, out by belly button and sometimes up which is extremely uncomfortable... he literally never stops!

shallen · 14/08/2018 12:50

Mine are mainly fairly low down, and often to one side, but do tend to move around a lot. Often also right in the bladder which makes me jump!
I'm 22+5 today.

Melaniesunflower · 14/08/2018 17:38

I've had kicks all over. Made the mistake last night of going for a coffee with a friend and forgot to ask four decaf...... baby had a field day when I was trying to get to sleep!!!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 14/08/2018 21:06

Typically, since posting earlier, I've had kicks all over the flipping place!

ND348 · 15/08/2018 07:38

Mine tend to be high up past ny belly button or low down (or internal feels like my cervix is a trampoline!) Bit she has gone very quite over the last two days, spoke to the midwife yesterday who said she's likely moved but going in today to check the heartbeat on a Doppler is all ok

Italianshark · 15/08/2018 12:22

Omg this thread got taken off my "I'm On" and I've only just been able to find it again...

Italianshark · 15/08/2018 12:25

Just to join back into the party - my kicks have only really just become "kicks". Felt movement constantly below my nicker line but now its thumps all over. Keep also getting up too quick from bed and my rib hits something (every damn morning) and it kills. Well.. i think its somewhat the shock of it but it makes me go "OOO"

hammeringinmyhead · 15/08/2018 16:49

The last 2 days he has been booting me right up under my right ribs. It feels like 2 feet at once!

Third trimester starts today for me. Home straight, ladies!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 15/08/2018 19:07

So my local NCT have totally changed the dates of my antenatal course 2 weeks before it starts, after I'd arranged my entire work schedule for September and October around the dates that had been arranged months (and months!) ago Angry

Italianshark · 16/08/2018 09:03

@hammeringinmyhead amazing! At what week does it start?

hammeringinmyhead · 16/08/2018 09:07

How annoying Another! Can you work around it?

The most common timespan I have found says weeks 28-40 are third trimester.

AnotherOriginalUsername · 16/08/2018 09:32

@hammeringinmyhead I've forwarded my manager the email and I'm sure she'll do what she can but my job means I can't just up and leave, it relies on someone being able to cover me, there's got to be someone there all the time. It was evenings 7-9 which meant I could swap shifts around (I usually work until at least 7pm) but now it's Saturdays and all sorts (I also work Saturdays!!)

Emma198 · 16/08/2018 10:02

Ooh it's scan day @another! Good luck and fingers crossed for a well behaved baby!

OP posts:
AnotherOriginalUsername · 16/08/2018 10:07

Let's hope so! It's a really late appointment (6:45pm) and baby usually goes quiet at about 5pm so I'm not holding out much hope!

Emma198 · 16/08/2018 10:56

Oh that's a long time to wait! I've just started drinking real tea again, well within the caffeine recommendation but mine hops around after some caffeine.

Given it's been so hard to see I'm going to guess girl because they might have seen a little something if it's a boy. Good luck 💕

OP posts:
AnotherOriginalUsername · 16/08/2018 14:47

I'm basically staying tanked up on sugar and caffeine all day. Forbidden caffeine, not supposed to have it at all with my heart. The first sonographer said "possibly boy" (so that translates to "possibly girl" as well Hmm) and the second couldn't see anything at all!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 16/08/2018 19:19

Baby is apparently growing beautifully at 1lb 10oz and is right on the 50th centile line. Got a few more measurements but still missing a couple of views and the all important crotch shot! If they can get the missing measurements at the next scans, great, if not baby will be checked by a paediatrician when born rather than a midwife

EL332 · 16/08/2018 21:32

@Another such lovely news 💕 I'm so glad everything is well with your little one 🙂

Emma198 · 16/08/2018 21:46

Oh that baby is trouble! Glad all is looking well x

OP posts:
AnotherOriginalUsername · 16/08/2018 22:00

It's a very bad baby! The sonographer (who is the loveliest, most patient woman ever) was happily scanning it's heart and baby decided to cross it's arms over its chest!

We finally managed a decent image though, not been able to get one since 12 weeks
