I’ve just had my BFP after 3 years of trying, will be DC2 (touches wood). The NHS due date calculator has my due date around the 2nd Feb. Anyone else ready to jump on board? Grin

Oh I'm so sorry. Hopefully it's just stuff settling down. Everything crossed for you x

maxiflump1 · 06/06/2018 14:25

Aw I'm so Sorry to hear this @hannahetc. I had some bleeding in my last pregnancy which didn't have a good result but lots of woman bleed with absolutely no issues. You will have to have an internal scan as you are are so early on. As you are only 6 weeks is possible they may not be able to see anything so just prepare yourself that you may have to wait for a week or so then go back. Fingers crossed it's good news for you. Thanks

ValentinesBaby · 06/06/2018 15:17

Hello hope you don't mind me joining in, got my 1st BFP 2 days ago and had to tell someone, I'm working nights and DH is on days and want to tell him in person! Should see him tomorrow evening! Been so hard at work not to say anything. I should be due Valentine's day Smile

Laburna · 06/06/2018 18:46

@hannahetc I'm sorry it's stressful for you, I know it's hard, but try to stay calm and wait until the appointment. I had bleeding in my first pregnancy, 3rd trimester, but the doctor said about a third to half of women bleed during pregnancy, even though it's not normal?! Random but it helped. Hope it goes ok!

@angel0071987 I'm in the same position, I'm just waiting to see what happens, hoping it all works out, but preparing in case it doesn't. Don't really want the disappointment again! I knew almost straight away that it wasn't right last time, so I'm hoping the fact it all seems to be 'normal' this time is a good thing so far. I'm sure I had more symptoms with my first though 😂 so hard not to second guess everything! Still keep staring at the HPT just to check it still says positive!

Seafoodeatit · 06/06/2018 21:05

@hannahetc I'm sorry you're going through so much stress, I hope it's good news tomorrow and hopefully they'll be able to reassure you.

ronniemipperton · 06/06/2018 21:14

KeepIng everything crossed for you @hannahetc.

FrowningFlamingo · 06/06/2018 23:15

Hi, can I tentatively join in? I had my BFP on Saturday. We’ve been trying for eight months and I still can’t quite believe it’s real... would be due early Feb, around the 11th I think.
I haven’t had any symptoms really which I know isn’t unusual at this point but isn’t helping!
That said I’ve felt exhausted, nauseous and dizzy on standing. But none of those things are particularly unusual for me tbh :/

GetInMyNelly · 07/06/2018 00:17

Hey all, so I've woken to go to the toilet & it seems AF has decided to make an appearance!

I'm guessing this is what you call a chemical pregnancy??

I'd be 5 weeks today. Far far too early for a scan.

ValentinesBaby · 07/06/2018 02:21

Sorry to hear that, ye it sounds like a chemical pregnany. Apparently they are becoming more common because of earlier testing.. people used to just think they were a bit late or didn't know!. Fingers crossed for you for next BFP xxx

ronniemipperton · 07/06/2018 04:04

So sorry @GetInMyNelly Flowers

StyleOfTheTimes · 07/06/2018 06:07

Got my bfp on Monday and saw my gp yesterday and my due date is working out as 8th Feb 2019 😊 although my flo app estimated it’d be the 14th Feb?! Guess I’ll have to wait until my scan to know for sure? Crossing everything that I get to 12 weeks 🤰🏼

TheTittifersHaveSungTheirSong · 07/06/2018 06:51

So sorry @GetInMyNelly Thanksx

ronniemipperton · 07/06/2018 07:05

Congrats @StyleOfTheTimes. I’ve had a couple of different predictions too. I don’t know my conception date - either 16th, 17th or 20th May (I had a temp drop on 21st May) so obviously it varies depending on that but I don’t think there’s a way to know for sure without a dating scan. Fingers crossed we get there.

maxiflump1 · 07/06/2018 07:20

I'm so sorry @GetInMyNelly. Hope you have some good support and be easy on yourself Thanks

craftymum01 · 07/06/2018 08:04

So sorry to hear that #getinmynelly SadFlowers hope you can find some time to yourself today and treat yourself

seafoodeatit · 07/06/2018 08:19

I'm very sorry for your loss @getinmybelly

GetInMyNelly · 07/06/2018 09:29

Now I'm completely confused.

Bleeding has now turned brown and no pain at all.

The last test I did way before the bleeding started was faint positive but now this one came up in seconds.

Do I call the doc or just leave it??

Due February 2019...
Celebelly · 07/06/2018 09:43

It might have just been something like a subchorionic hematoma, so just a bleed that isn't a sign of miscarriage. You could call your doc and see what they say. I'd also do a test tomorrow or next day and see if it's getting fainter or is still strong. Fingers crossed for you!

beejay8 · 07/06/2018 14:04

Hi Everyone. My due date is 8 Feb. Early, early, early days. I feel super pregnant though. Sore boobs, bloated, emotional...the very worst part of it is that I haven't slept properly in 2 weeks. All the peeing and the discomfort, too hot...anyone else suffering the same insomnia? I feel it's much too soon for all these symptoms!!

PS I do not know any of the acronyms/text typing

seafoodeatit · 07/06/2018 15:28

@getinmybelly I would definitely call the doctor, they may be able to do blood tests and offer a scan.

seafoodeatit · 07/06/2018 15:29

@beejay8 yes to insomnia and constantly needing to pee. I find myself waking up at almost exactly 3 am every night and taking ages to nod off again.

jeanzbeanz · 07/06/2018 16:19

Yes I also am struggling to sleep! Not particularly hot or uncomfortable, just can't nod off. And I wake at 5 every morning busting for the loo and can't go back to sleep again.

valentinesbaby2019 · 07/06/2018 16:30

Hi all, got BFP on Saturday, 4w1d today and due Feb 13th. Feeling very anxious as I lost my first pregnancy at 5 weeks in March. I was expecting to be ecstatic to see another BFP but I feel like all I can think about is what might go wrong. Just want to hit a fast forward button. First scan will be at 7 weeks in last week of June. Any tips on getting through this first stage? I didn't think time could go any slower than in the TWW but turns out it most definitely can!

beejay8 · 07/06/2018 16:33

It's really the worst @jeanzbeans and @seafoodeatit. As if I'm not ratty enough with the hormones already without the sleep deprivation added in. I don't want to be a moaning myrtle so early on!!

FrowningFlamingo · 07/06/2018 17:17

GetInMyNelly I would def contact the doctor. It's totally possible to have even quite a heavy bleed and the pregnancy be fine. A friend of mine turned out to be 16 weeks at her 12 week scan but she's adamant she had a totally normal period at what must have been 4 weeks!
I had a tiny bit of spotting just before AF was due but nothing since. I still don't feel at all pregnant though so getting increasingly anxious. I'm very very tired and felt quite sick this morning but I was very stressed about work so neither thing unusual for me really. I keep poking my boobs to see if they hurt Hmm
