I’ve just had my BFP after 3 years of trying, will be DC2 (touches wood). The NHS due date calculator has my due date around the 2nd Feb. Anyone else ready to jump on board? Grin

Although be warned, they push quite hard on your tummy and I was worried I'd pee myself 🙈 had to rush to loo after!

@Babybeany I have got my first midwife appointment on Monday. No sign of scan date yet, probably guessing that I will get more info on Monday. Are you thinking of getting an early scan at all?

I still don't have sore boobs and it's really worrying me! I'm 5 weeks. I am also bridesmaid 3 times in July (bad timing!) so I wanted to get an early scan to relieve my anxiety about it all.

@elocwildflowerxx I had mine done yesterday at exactly 7 weeks, it was abdominal and came out really well. Could see the heart beating on the screen and everything. Also they told me to have a full bladder (didn’t manage that, only got half full - would have had an accident I think 🤣) but still got great photos. Good luck!

I had my scan done today and had an internal scan but I’m only 5+5 and they needed to have a good look at my ovaries as I had a previous ectopic on my right I ovary.

@themagictorch so sorry for your loss take care of yourself Flowers

I’m still spotting. It’s a real worry.

As for the diet, are any of you making to keep down any vegetables? I’m feeling so unwell. The sickness is horrendous and I’m so tired.
I can’t eat veg, I can’t eat meat. All I can manage is toast, crackers, crisps. My diet has been appalling.

hayleyfx · 20/06/2018 18:20

@Skydiving I hope it calms down for you soon. As for the eating, my nausea/sickness isn’t too bad but really struggling to eat. I’m not managing a great variety of foods, I can’t even think about eating meat and I just end up gagging at veg. I honestly just eat whatever I’m craving cause if I don’t, I won’t eat anything. Try not to worry. My diet is definitely worse atm haha! Just currently eating some super noodles... 😆

@skydiving I can only have veg after several hours of snacking slowly on corn cakes which I can't even face until I've drunk an light iced latte from coop I have no idea why....
I can't face fish which I love 😪 have you tried cucumber? I'm much better with raw veg than cooked

Sorry to hear you are still spotting @Skydiving

I'm also in the only eating bread, biscuits and crisps club!

As this thread is nearly full I've started a new one and hopefully we can get a roll call started!

Ladies, possibly bringing the tone down a little here... but how is/did everyone manage sex with their other half throughout the first few weeks?

Firstly I'm terrified of anything going 'up there'. Secondly, I feel so rough I'm just not feeling it at the moment, and am a little concerned about throwing up! OH being fab, but I really want to get over it!

We've booked an early scan for this Saturday when I will be 6+3. I'd have much preferred to have it at 7 or 8 but we are away the next two weekends.

I'm still not feeling too sick - except for gagging in my folic acid tablet and my toothbrush in the mornings Hmm quite reduced appetite though.
My mum claims she had no morning sickness with me and I've read that at least 10% of people don't get it so I'm hoping I'm in the camp and it's not a sign something is wrong!
We've only had sex once since we found out but we've had loads going on and I've been exhausted anyway. I wasn't too worried but DH 'didn't want to get it wet' Grin so erm... well, you know... Blush

Had my 7 week scan today at clinic (am 6+3 today). Was so nervous beforehand but it all went fine so am mighty relieved - for now! Everything in right place, little heart beat but it's an early scan. Got another scan in 2 weeks for my peace of mind. Just wanted to say thank you for the support and I'm wishing everyone a happy and healthy pregnancy! It's lovely to have this forum for support x
