I’ve just had my BFP after 3 years of trying, will be DC2 (touches wood). The NHS due date calculator has my due date around the 2nd Feb. Anyone else ready to jump on board? Grin

Hi guys, got my BFP yesterday and I'm due 15th Feb. Had a missed MC in December last year which was awful so hoping for a positive pregnancy this time. How are you all feeling? I've got like a slight nausea at the back of my throat and sore boobs but not too much else yet. Hayfever is killing me though and I don't think I'm supposed to take anything 🤔

Anewhope · 07/06/2018 17:48

@hannahetc my first pregnancy (which resulted in the four year old sat in front of me!) I had a heavy bleed at around 7 weeks. All turned out finex had a scan and everything was ok. My last pregnancy in December had the tiniest amount of spotting so went for a scan and unfortunately it wasn't a good result. So I think the takeaway from that is that bleeding doesn't always indicate miscarriage. I hope you're ok and you've had a scan that's gone well.

hannahetc · 07/06/2018 17:54

Thanks for all the kind words. I’ve had both an external and internal scan today and a gestational sac and yolk sac can be seen but nothing else yet. I’ve got another scan booked in a couple of weeks and the bleeding has stopped so it’s just a case of wait and see.

Wellthisunexpected · 07/06/2018 18:04

Everything crossed for you hannahetc

Wellthisunexpected · 07/06/2018 18:05

I've just booked in with the midwife for 2 weeks time. I'll be 7+5!

maxiflump1 · 07/06/2018 18:07

Fingers crossed for you @hannahetc.

TheTittifersHaveSungTheirSong · 07/06/2018 18:07

@hannahetc 🤞 for you!

@Anewhope I'm the same- hayfever is really bugging me!! I'm taking beconase because I literally can't cope without anything to take the edge off! the Drs can prescribe you things if it is too much though x

HogansGhost · 07/06/2018 18:11

I’m only 4 weeks 3 days and just had a bleed too. Had minor spotting this morning and did a test which was very light line. Now seeing bright red blood. I’m assuming it’s over but I’m too scared to test again tomorrow because to make matters worse I have a driving test first thing in the morning.

jeanzbeanz · 07/06/2018 18:47

@Anewhope and @TheTittifersHaveSungTheirSong if you look on the NHS website it says it's safe to take Loratadine, so I'm taking that. Too bad to not take anything!

Anewhope · 07/06/2018 18:59

@jeanzbeanz have you had it prescribed or is it available over the counter? I normally just pick up the antihistamines from the supermarket so I'm not sure what's in those...

craftymum01 · 07/06/2018 19:30

@Anewhpoe I use Beconase too, my midwife said it was fine. Nowhere near as good as pills though but I know there are so many we can't take.

Sorry to hear that @Hogansghost, fingers crossed it's just a random bleed which can happen.

hayleyfx · 07/06/2018 20:44

@HogansGhost oh I’m really sorry. I hope it’s not a sign of anything bad, sending you luck and hugs Flowers

@hannahetc fingers crossed that everything goes well at your next scan hun 🤞

jeanzbeanz · 07/06/2018 20:51

@Anewhope they were from Boots. The packet says Loratadine on the front of it. The reason why they are OK is because they are non-drowsy :)

Wordie · 07/06/2018 20:54

Hi Ladies,

Please can I join? Just got BFP today, after 9 months. EDD is 16th Feb

Feel like I want to tell everyone but also terrified it will end badly!!

seafoodeatit · 07/06/2018 22:22

Congratulations and welcome @wordie

@hannahtech I hope your next scan brings even more good news.

ronniemipperton · 07/06/2018 22:34

Welcome and congrats @Wordie!

I’m having v peculiar bubbling sensations in my lower abdomen. Not concerning, just feels weird!

ronniemipperton · 07/06/2018 22:35

Just seen @HogansGhost’s post - sorry to hear, will keep everything crossed for you.

jeanzbeanz · 07/06/2018 23:23

@ronniemipperton I have bubbles too!!

Mama2la · 08/06/2018 00:36

Hi guys want to join. It's been a week since I got my BFP (I was 7 days late for AF)

According to my LMP I'm 6+4 I should be due 1st Feb.
I have a 15 month old son so this is baby2. Not planned but lovely surprise.

I had hyperemisis for my first pregnancy and by this point I was crippled over in bed from sickness and in and out of hospital till about 25 weeks. The fact that I have no symptoms so far I am hopeful this pregnancy will be more enjoyable.
Congrats to everyone

noseoftralee · 08/06/2018 20:49

Today is ALL about hay fever. I am struggling not to rip my nose off this evening.

Daenarys · 08/06/2018 20:56

Hi everyone

Hope its okay to join you guys

I have been on another Feb 2019 board but saw this and thought it would be great to chat with more people due then!

I'm not sure exactly what my dates are but somewhere around the 5 week mark now i think. Got coil out end of april and havent had a period. Delighted to be pregnant. This is my second...my ds is 2 at the end of this month.

Im worrying all the time and have done loads of tests. Done CBD on wed and that said 2-3w so bought another today to do tomorrow and if that says 3+ i will stop POAS. Wasnt like this first time round. Planning to book an early scan around 7w.

Dont feel pregnant at all. No symptoms. Weirdly wanting to feel sick to show me i am still pregnant Confused

Congratulations to all you with BFPs

TheTittifersHaveSungTheirSong · 08/06/2018 21:34

@noseoftralee tell me about it!! I am so frustrated with my nose!!! 🤧!!!

ronniemipperton · 08/06/2018 22:20

Another hayfever sufferer here. Bleaugrgh.

Welcome and congrats @Daenarys Smile

MrsY87 · 09/06/2018 06:02

Hello!! Hope it's ok to join you! Got my bfp yesterday, it's still early days as only around 4+3 based on dates. EDD 13 Feb.

This will be our 3rd and final baby, DD is 3.5yrs and DS is 9m so all being well should have a 17m gap...eek! Anyone else having a small gap? It was very much planned but I didn't expect it to happen so quickly as DS took 10m to conceive and now I'm freaking out about how I'm going to cope with 3 under 5s!

No sickness etc here yet just a totally unquenchable thirst which was my main symptom when I was pregnant with DD too. I literally cannot drink enough!

DollyDaydreamz · 09/06/2018 07:27

Hello all, congratulations! Got my BFP Wednesday after 7 cycles ttc DC2. DD1 was born 32weeks after PPROM. We had a long stay in NNU but she’s healthy toddler now. Before I started ttc DC2 went to doctors and she said if I do fall this time would be consultant led from start and early / more scans. Just wondering if you all waited before making booking in appointment with doctors?

According to NHS calculator EDD 13th Feb.

Hoping everything will be fine this time over but can’t think if I waited to make booking appointment last time round 🤔
