I’ve just had my BFP after 3 years of trying, will be DC2 (touches wood). The NHS due date calculator has my due date around the 2nd Feb. Anyone else ready to jump on board? Grin

Re diet - I am also just struggling through on a handful of bland foods which I can keep down! Seabrooks seasalt crisps, weetabix with milk, wholemeal toast with a tiny bit of butter, red grapes. I think that is about all I've eaten for the last week sadly.

Am seeing the midwife on Friday, can't wait. Will have to ask her about my diet then!

Diet-wise I'm tending to eat a plate full of veg with meat or fish of some sort for dinner, and plain stuff for lunch. I can't stomach breakfast at the moment.

Not feeling great though with nausea at the moment so not sure if it's going to stay down today.

The last 2.5 weeks have totally dragged but I've got my 7 week scan tomorrow morning at my fertility clinic and I am sooooo anxious! Desperately hoping it goes ok. I'm not overly nauseous at the moment but I'll feel sick by the time we get there. Trying to think positively. Hoping for an embryo, in the right place with a strong heartbeat. It's our first pregnancy and have never got this far!

Amazing to see the scan pictures guys! We had one booked for Tuesday when I will be 7 weeks!

@TheMagicTorch so sorry to hear your news, sending lots of love.

I have taken the day of work today as I've been feeling so ill the past few days and not being able to keep much food now... fingers crossed it will finish after the first trimester! X

I'm 7 weeks on Friday and all I want to do is eat all the food and sleep. Although, even though I am exhausted most of the time I find it hard to actually get off to sleep Angry. Apart from that I am getting 'heavy' sore boobs some of the time - it's agony when I first take my bra off! A few twinges and niggles in my stomach, bloating and constipation.

I'm still freaking out that they will find nothing at my scan Sad

Alicejj8x · 20/06/2018 15:37

@Grimbles
I feel the exact same in regards to worrying there find nothing on the scan but I am
Sure it's in our heads.

Have you had any previous Mc or pregnancies ??

Good luck to you. when is your scan

I am
The same I have sore boobs on and off and tiredness although it seems ok today but no sickness as of yet

Report
Grimbles · 20/06/2018 15:43

I've had 1 successful pregnancy and 1 previous MC - this is an IVF pregnancy which makes me even more on edge. I can't help thinking I've miscarried again but the cyclogest is stopping me from bleeding so I am other dreading and can't wait for the scan next week.

Report
Grimbles · 20/06/2018 15:45

I've not had any sickness either, occasional brief moments where my stomach churns a bit, and I feel a bit lightheaded at times. It's odd the morning sickness is so closely associated with being pregnant that you are worried for not having that symptom despite having all the others Grin

Alicejj8x · 20/06/2018 15:54

@Grimbles
Ahhh well I have everything crossed for you hun
Sorry for your loss

Oh I know what you mean !! It's like
You can have other symptoms
But coz
There's no sickness it's like what's wrong lol

@Grimbles i'm 7 weeks tomorrow and you just described exactly how i feel, i'm having a early scan tomorrow i just am freaking out so i know it'll calm me down and it's nice to know the real dates etc and check everything is okay, i've been doing that thing your not meant to do and googling internal scans and i found threads of women saying they caused miscarriage😞 it could be a co-ey but i'm just on edge all the time and googling so much compared to last time! have any of you had an early internal scan yet and it's been fine? i saw two scan pictures earlier in the thread were those internal?😌

Report
Alicejj8x · 20/06/2018 17:18

@elocwildflowerxx hello they tend to only do internal if your only early weeks & if they can't see any external internal will be the way

They have assured me so so so many times they do not cause MC at all x

AliceRR · 20/06/2018 17:18

I’m not sure I’ve said hello yet but I’ve been reading along as I am 6weeks plus 2 days, due around 11 Feb I think.

It’s good to know people in a similar situation. I’m a bit anxious and been reading miscarriage stats etc. I am 34 and DH is 43 so we are both high risk!

Thinking about whether to have 7/8 week scan but not sure.

I’m definitely having symptoms. Nausea for over a week and since yesterday actually feeling a bit sick but haven’t actually been sick yet. On the one hand I don’t want to feel sick but on the other hand if it’s a sign of a healthy pregnant then I’ll take it!

@Alicejj8x if i have dated correctly i'll be 7 weeks exactly tomorrow i saw the other ladies have had theres and i'm assuming those are abdominal scans, i really don't want an internal just incase anxiety is sky high at the moment, is it best to have a completely full bladder or just half i can't remember a thing wouldn't think i have a 5 year old🙈😂

I had to have an internal scan, it really wasn't that bad 😊

Report
Celebelly · 20/06/2018 17:33

I had to have a full bladder for mine - they said to drink a pint of water an hour before appointment. I thought I'd have to have internal and even signed the form for it but she did abdominal and saw it right away so there was no need.

Report
Celebelly · 20/06/2018 17:34

I was 6+3 for mine so you'll probably be fine with just an abdominal scan at seven weeks.
