I’ve just had my BFP after 3 years of trying, will be DC2 (touches wood). The NHS due date calculator has my due date around the 2nd Feb. Anyone else ready to jump on board? Grin

@bubblybrit I shouldn’t have put all men in the same category as I did... just that stupid male doctor! OH is a legend 🤩 I had a tough day today and I seem to have vented on here. Sorry for the bad language ladies! 🤭

Babybeany · 18/06/2018 20:19

@ronniemipperton same thing for me. Except mine isn’t until 10th August! Which will put me at 13 weeks near enough. I wish it was sooner! I’m hoping to hear from my midwife at my local practice soon x

FrowningFlamingo · 18/06/2018 20:27

Mine is in August too. It really feels like forever away doesn't it - I guess because there's a full calendar month between us and it! I think it will feel loads closer once it's already July!!

bubblybrit · 18/06/2018 20:40

@Babybeany. I think venting is what this forum is for! My DH told me this evening that he is getting sympathy symptoms and it’s gonna be a long 9 months. I was like Hmm!!

MrsSnootyPants2018 · 18/06/2018 20:50

I normally like to have those blue label alcohol free kopperbergs. I'm thinking of having them at a wedding this weekend to try and not arose curiosity as I don't want to distract for bride and groom (family wedding)

Do you think they're still okay during pregnancy?

ronniemipperton · 18/06/2018 21:01

I hope so, I’ve been drinking alcohol free stuff practically every day Blush

Babybeany · 18/06/2018 21:09

@MrsSnootyPants2018 yep, they are fine to drink. 😊 Go for it! Cheers! X

Seafoodeatit · 18/06/2018 21:13

@MrsSnootyPants2018 Alcohol free/0.5 abv is fine, you'd need to drink a crazy amount for it to be a concern.

@jeanzbeanz I was given Stemetil, It doesn't get rid of the nausea but it makes it much more bearable, I naturally get motion sickness and pregnancy makes it worse, this keeps that from going crazy too. Sounds like you managed to get a good amount today, good going :)

MrsSnootyPants2018 · 18/06/2018 21:33

Cheers then guys!!

LookingAtTheStars89 · 18/06/2018 21:44

Is anyone else suffering with headaches? 😢

Seafoodeatit · 18/06/2018 21:46

@LookingAtTheStars89 I get horrendous headaches and migraines in pregnancy, I'd recommed 4head and lots of strips of kool n soothe migraine.

LookingAtTheStars89 · 18/06/2018 21:55

@Seafoodeatit. Headache + fatigue = feeling like shit!

LookingAtTheStars89 · 18/06/2018 21:56

@Seafoodeatit. I've even got a lovely bit of tinnitus too :-(

elocwildflowerxx · 18/06/2018 22:27

been silent ladies sorry, just read through everyone's comments yep nausea is horrible today been so hungry and feeling like i need some sugar but not been able to eat much i had 3 mouthful of a subway earlier and had to stop for fear of throwing up, it's like my stomach just don't want to tolerate any food! feeling the same as some that have said they can only face plain foods anything with a sauce or a strong taste seems to make it worse, i've found sucking on boiled sweets really good so far for stopping the wretching😞

Littleonek · 19/06/2018 06:01

My morning sickness is really bad atm.

Since last week ive lost three pounds! I thought you are meant to gain weight when pregnant!

Need to force myself to eat more now!

Anyon I else lost weight!

If people are worrying about stuff book an early private scan! Im so glad I did it; cost £89 but will be a huge relief at 7 weeks not having to wait until 12 to mak sure everything is ok!

hayley013 · 19/06/2018 06:48

I lost weight with my first baby in first trimester, but once the sickness stopped at 12 weeks I went on to gain 2.5 stone, so in the long run I wouldn't worry too much about that. Drink plenty in the meantime and if you're concerned I'd maybe see a doctor for anti-sickness meds, bless you hope it calms down x

Alicejj8x · 19/06/2018 06:59

Why is it today I wake up and honestly feel normal?
Just freaking me out :/

hayley013 · 19/06/2018 07:48

I did yesterday @Alicejj8x but then this morning I feel terrible, mine just differs day to day x

hayleyfx · 19/06/2018 07:56

@Littleonek yep I’ve lost a couple pounds. Not eating nearly enough!

@Alicejj8x some mornings I wake up feeling awful and others I feel totally normal. My nausea is really inconsistent. I understand your worry though, it freaks me out too! But symptoms do come and go 😊

Got my scan today. I’m so scared but fingers crossed it goes well 🤞

hayley013 · 19/06/2018 08:02

Good luck today @hayleyfx hope all goes well

Babybeany · 19/06/2018 08:06

@hayleyfx how many weeks are you? Fx you get to see your little bundle of love! X

Alicejj8x · 19/06/2018 08:09

@hayleyfx good luck today hun!

Alicejj8x · 19/06/2018 08:10

@hayley013 ahh no I hope your ok ! X

Alicejj8x · 19/06/2018 08:10

@hayleyfx yes I gues your right. So far it's just been my boobs that are sore and the tiredness. No sickness as of yet! X

Babybeany · 19/06/2018 08:37

@Alicejj8x I haven’t really suffered any kind of nausea either. I’ve had cramps and complete exhaustion along with achy legs. I’m not a particularly sicky person (not even when I’m drunk!), so im putting lack of nausea down to that. We’re all different. Try not to panic (she says!) xx
