I’ve just had my BFP after 3 years of trying, will be DC2 (touches wood). The NHS due date calculator has my due date around the 2nd Feb. Anyone else ready to jump on board? Grin

@MrsY87 I'm considering the harmony test, need to speak to DH about it as it's a fair amount of money.

hayleyfx · 15/06/2018 18:29

@maxiflump1 I’m feeling the same way, sorry you feel so rubbish but it’s totally normal! Whenever I think about eating I want to vomit. Just don’t enjoy food atm! Hope it doesn’t last too long for you 😊

@GetInMyNelly I’m so sorry hun. How awful for you, I hope you’re okay. Sending hugs Flowers

@MrsY87 I’ve had a look online about the harmony test and can only see prices of £400, is that the cheapest you can get? If it is then I’m gonna have to leave it I think!

Babybeany · 15/06/2018 18:43

I worked this morning then spent the afternoon in bed! Feeling completely exhausted! I wasn’t expecting to feel so rough this early on. I’m only 4+4 and I’m not sure if Gorgeous boyfriend quite gets it yet. Luckily I’m not nauseous or suffering sickness (yet!), but suffering with mental headaches, tiredness and cramping. Even my legs hurt. 😩

Babybeany · 15/06/2018 18:44

But I’ll take it all as long as this is a healthy pregnancy 😍

maxiflump1 · 15/06/2018 18:48

So sorry to hear this @GetInMyNelly. Do you have to go back for a gutter scan or have they offered any treatment. I had a mmc bac in February so know how tough it is: look after yourselfThanks

maxiflump1 · 15/06/2018 18:49

Another scan (not a gutter scan)

GetInMyNelly · 15/06/2018 18:56

Thank you. I'm okay, I started bleeding a week ago so pretty much accepted the outcome back then. Xx

ronniemipperton · 15/06/2018 19:00

So sorry @GetInMyNelly. Hope you have good people looking after you.

Babybeany · 15/06/2018 19:15

Oh @Getinmynelly I’ve only just seen your post! So sorry to hear. Look after yourself and do everything that makes you happy xx

TheTittifersHaveSungTheirSong · 15/06/2018 19:16

Oh @GetInMyNelly I'm so sorry, what an awful week you've had. Look after yourself x

Jeshka07 · 15/06/2018 19:33

Hello can i join?? First time for me and anxious about everything! Roughly due Feb 19 though havent even been to the dr yet! 🙂

GetInMyNelly · 15/06/2018 19:48

Thank you all.

I'm just glad you all are doing well.

Enjoy your pregnancies (not the nausea and tiredness!)

I'm sure il be on the upcoming threads.

Take care Thanks

somethingfromnothing · 15/06/2018 20:34

Im 5 weeks today and have been feeling rough all day long. So glad it’s friday! I think my sickness started around 7 weeks the last time. I hope I don’t get it as bad this time!

FrowningFlamingo · 15/06/2018 20:41

I have organised my booking appointment today - I phoned and was passed between several departments as they couldn't decide which team I belonged to. Then claimed they were going to ring me soon anyway... I'm not sure I believe them! I'm not overly impressed so far tbh but the midwife sounded nice at least!

Really sorry to hear that GetInMyNelly Flowers

Thanks @babybeany I'm doing ok, felt sick this morning and like you have felt impossibly tired. Weirdly the tiredness seems at its worst when im driving so I'm having to be very careful. I'm 5 + 2 so a smidge ahead of you.

clairehr · 15/06/2018 21:53

@babybeany Totally feeling you with the tiredness and just general 'hurting-ness'. I hit my wall at work around 2pm and struggle through the final 3 hours before slumping onto my sofa at home. Cramping seems to have lessened a lot now, just lower back ache and a weird side/hip ache thing going on instead. Fingers crossed bubs is lovely and snuggled up now!

MamaSarai · 15/06/2018 22:04

@GetInMyNelly so sorry for your loss Flowers

hayley013 · 15/06/2018 23:04

@GetInMyNelly so sorry to hear, hope you are well and good luck Thanks

elocwildflowerxx · 16/06/2018 02:39

just read through most of the thread and wondered if i can jump on the bandwagon late..

i got a positive pregnancy test around a week and a half ago and am freaking out! it comes as a complete shock/surprise but am glad to have found this thread. i joined a similar one on here when i had my first baby almost 6 years ago. anyone else got a big ish age gap?

i'm around 4 weeks and 3 days(guesstimate) with a due date of the 20th of feb approx. have seen some with very close ones to mine, hope everyone is well!

i'm getting all the symptoms already fatigue, mood swings, achey boobs, nausea and i was sick twice this morning! the joys aye x x

somethingfromnothing · 16/06/2018 03:39

@elocwildflowerxx we have the same age gap.

I keep waking up during the night needing the toilet then can’t get back to sleep

Babybeany · 16/06/2018 07:52

@elocwildflower our due dates look really close! My EDD is Feb 18th. I am 4+5 x

ClaireLouise82 · 16/06/2018 08:14

@GetinMyNelly - so sorry to hear this - take care of yourself xx

@elocwildflowerxx - congratulations- I’m going to have a similar age gap, I’ve got a DS who has just turned 6 so there’s going to be an almost 7 year age gap between them. I am just hoping it’s not going to be too big a gap. We were happy just having the one for a long time but over the last few years we have debated whether to try for another and both of us being bad decision makers we seemed to keep going round in circles whether to or not anyway we decided at the start of the year to try for another and 6 months later I’m expecting DC2. I’m really excited but a bit overwhelmed at the same time - just hope I’m not too out of practice with everything! I’ve not had any symptoms yet apart from a bit of tiredness (but that’s no different than normal!) but it was the same for my first so I keep wondering if it’s going to be another little boy xx

bubblybrit · 16/06/2018 08:23

Just got my BFP yesterday. Wanted to wait until af was a few days late before testing so I’m 5+1 currently.

Need to make my GP appointment on Monday.

Feeling ok so far. Got mild cramps, sore boobs and feeling a bit tired but I actually don’t care as just delighted that this was our month xx

Babybeany · 16/06/2018 08:30

Welcome @bubblybrit It’s so lovely to see so many friendly names!
Do I need to make an appointment with my gp? Last time I fell pregnant I called them and they said to get in touch with a midwife on line so I haven’t called my surgery yet.

Babybeany · 16/06/2018 08:31

I might call on Monday anyway as we had a miscarriage last time so I want to be extra cautious x

bubblybrit · 16/06/2018 08:36

@Babybeany. Think the June bus has been really successful. Hoping to see a few more BFPs join! Sorry I am calling my GP surgery as the midwife is located there x
