I’ve just had my BFP after 3 years of trying, will be DC2 (touches wood). The NHS due date calculator has my due date around the 2nd Feb. Anyone else ready to jump on board? Grin

Also getting up and doing things seems to help my nausea. Admittedly I did spend most the morning in bed reading Dickens anyway. But I definitely felt better once I got dressed and went to Sainsbury's.

I have my scan tomorrow - so nervous - just hope they can find a heartbeat and give me an estimated due date. 🙏

Pls19 · 14/06/2018 13:08

Hi all, congrats on your BFPs! How exciting!

I’m currently 5w 6d after a MC/suspected ectopic last month. Will be my second child if all goes smoothly..

Didn’t expect to fall pregnant again so soon!

I’ve had 2 scans, the last being 2 days ago. Saw the sac and yolk, even saw the heart beating!
So all good signs however I’m petrified of losing another Sad

What symptoms is everyone experiencing right now? I’m overanalysing everything I’m experiencing!

Leonora94 · 14/06/2018 13:21

I'm so hungry! Glad to hear others are the same are also super tired/finding being at work impossible. I was just in a meeting with my boss and as she was talking to me all that was going on in my head was me shouting "by the way i'm pregnant!" lol not looking forward to having that conversation...Just heard back from the midwives though and I've got my booking appointment on the 25th!

hayleyfx · 14/06/2018 13:27

Huge congrats to everyone who has recently joined, fingers crossed for lots of healthy and happy pregnancies 😊

@Pls19 oh I know, I had a missed MC in December and pregnancy now is so scary to me! But we’ve got to stay positive, fingers crossed everything works out this time 🤞 oh and my main symptom atm is nausea, can barely eat now!

hayley013 · 14/06/2018 13:35

@jeanzbeanz I've just done a similar trip to Sainsbury's, came away with a huge variation of fruity things, ice pops, fruit, someone suggested on a forum that cuppa soups help with nausea, and I got some ginger as that's supposed to help, will have it with lemon and water.

@Pls19 congrats on seeing a little heartbeat, totally understandable that you're nervous, but sending you lots of good luck! I'm a little nauseous if I don't eat, had sore boobs but that's calmed down a little, and I'm so tired through the day but struggle to sleep at night. Trying to keep busy to tire myself out x

Leonora94 · 14/06/2018 13:46

Just had to sneakily undo my high wasted jeans in the office as the bloating is real...hope no one notices.

Babybeany · 14/06/2018 14:03

Happy Thursday everyone! I got a faint bfp yesterday and a stronger one this morning. It feels great to be off those busses! 😊 I’m having lots of cramps and exhaustion. Cramping can be a bit scary can’t it? We had a missed mc last year so every twinge is setting us both off! X

Leonora94 · 14/06/2018 14:49

@Babybeany Happy Thursday! I'm have some cramps and twinges too but I think its normal at the moment there is lots going on with our bodies at the mo but I agree it's scary sometimes x

hayleyfx · 14/06/2018 15:00

@Babybeany congrats! Yeah the cramping worried me at first, had quite bad cramps weeks 4-5 but they’ve settled down now. Scared me too, I also had a missed MC last year so I’m very nervous and totally understand how you’re feeling! Hope everything works out for you this time 😊

My scan is now booked for Tuesday at 5pm! I’m so scared, not got good experience with scans so it’s really nerve wracking. Everything crossed that bub is okay and growing 🤞

Wames90 · 14/06/2018 15:02

@Thetittifers I agree! Crazy bodies! If you can’t have a cheeky nap when Thomas is on then when can you?! I’m taking all the symptoms as positives that something is actually growing in there!! I hope you don’t have to wait too long for your midwife appointment! And hopefully the 12 week scan will be here before you know it.

Wordie · 14/06/2018 16:53

Dizziness has arrived today and I can’t believe how bad it is. The room is spinning every time I stand up. Anyone else had this? I’ve had to get into bed!

twiglet · 14/06/2018 17:02

@wordie yes I've had dizzy spells and light headedness for a few weeks now. I've found having some squash or a fizzy drink helps throughout the day slow your walking down and focus straight ahead when standing up

Wordie · 14/06/2018 17:53

@twiglet thanks, I’ll give that a try. It’s frustrating when you have a million things to do. X

jeanzbeanz · 14/06/2018 17:55

Yes I get dizzy if I bend down or get up too quickly! Think the fact that I'm not eating properly isn't helping.

MamaSarai · 14/06/2018 18:17

Yeah I’ve been getting dizzy spells when I get up too fast so trying not to launch myself out of the chair at work 😂

@Leonora94 your post about the button made me snort out loud at work earlier as I’d literally just done the same thing. Went for a work lunch and was starving so I ate loads, then was sooo bloated sat at my desk, had to undo the button. Just got home to discover I’d forgotten to do it up again so there’s the possibility I may have inadvertently flashed some people on the way home 🤦🏻‍♀️

clairehr · 14/06/2018 19:35

@babybeany Congrats, and welcome! I'm 4w 5d and been getting pre AF type cramps since the beginning of week 4, they scare me every time because of the feelings they invoke from 2 previous MCs, but just trying to remember that it's baby getting snug 😊

clairehr · 14/06/2018 19:38

@hayleyfx Good luck for your scan on Tuesday! I do hope everyhong goes ok and good memories will begin to replace bad ones. How exciting that you'll get to see likkle one!

Babybeany · 14/06/2018 19:41

@clairehr I have been trying to keep the same thoughts in my head... I even had a little chat with my poppyseed earlier telling it to tuck itself in and grow big and strong! 🤪 I was on my own! X

hayley013 · 14/06/2018 20:00

Congrats @Babybeany! Haha im at my friends now and literally feel like im going to burst out of my jeans, the button will be loosened on the drive home Hmm

I've had the dizziness when standing up too, it's passed a little now

clairehr · 14/06/2018 20:24

@babybeany Love it, me and my poppyseed had a chat last night whilst we were on our own too 😊

ronniemipperton · 14/06/2018 20:53

I made it through my ludicrous week of opportunities for drinking... claimed exhaustion on Monday, did lots of glass swapping (and I rather shamefully tipped an entire glass of prosecco into a bin) on Tuesday, pretended to be too hungover to drink on Wednesday, and conveniently missed the (party) train all my colleagues were getting home after a conference today. Feel as tired as if I’d been drinking all the way through but slightly jubilant as I think I got away without anyone noticing.

Leonora94 · 14/06/2018 20:58

@MamaSarai @hayley013 I’m glad to hear it’s normal to feel like your jeans don’t even fit already. I left them undone luckily I was wearing a big button cardi so it when undetected 😂 my DH seems to think I’m imagining it all since I got my BFP only yesterday and I’m not even sure whether I am either but the midwife/app said I was 6+2

FrowningFlamingo · 14/06/2018 23:02

Oh @babybeany so glad to see you here! Congratulations!

Karigan198 · 14/06/2018 23:13

Hi discovered last week that I’m pregnant. It’s been odd already as never showed on a pregnancy test and only found out by having a scan.

Now at 6 weeks I’m spotting as well so got to say I don’t have high hopes that this baby will stick 😕. Thinking calm thoughts and monitoring at present as it’s onky light and no cramping etc.

Leonora94 · 15/06/2018 06:58

@Karigan198 everything crossed for you! X

@ronniemiperton very covert! I have a weekend of social events with my family, it’s my mum I’m worried about guessing she sees right through me!...Think I’m going to try my luck with G&T looking water x
