I’ve just had my BFP after 3 years of trying, will be DC2 (touches wood). The NHS due date calculator has my due date around the 2nd Feb. Anyone else ready to jump on board? Grin

Hi everyone
Had a positive test last week, test said 3+ weeks so 5-6wks by the Dr which I'm still trying to get my head around the weird way they work it out!
First midwife scheduled in 10 days time. Have some dull aches really tired with bad headaches most days. Weirdest symptom is being really cold in the evenings when I'm tired like flu feeling cold it goes away once I've slept.

clairehr · 12/06/2018 19:43

@CarlyJane1987 Oh god... the wind... 😂

@twirled Welcome, and congrats! Hope your journey here is smooth 😊

MrsSnootyPants2018 · 12/06/2018 20:00

Hi everyone.

Got my bfp and the due date calculator day Feb 20 2019!

Very excited as that would have been my granddads birthday.

Will be DC2 for us.

jeanzbeanz · 12/06/2018 20:19

Well I just found something I felt like eating!! Chicken nuggets FROM Mcdonalds ♥ followed by a subway cookie ♥

Seafoodeatit · 12/06/2018 21:06

Congratulations and welcome @twiglet & @MrsSnootyPants2018

@jeanzbeans that sounds amazing!

hayleyfx · 12/06/2018 21:32

@jeanzbeanz I also managed a McDonald’s today, just a large fries but it went down well!!

Been forcing myself to eat today and it has helped a lot. Actually enjoyed some soup and a sandwich so that was nice haha 😬

@twiglet @MrsSnootyPants2018 congrats to you both! Fingers crossed for healthy and happy pregnancies 🤞

ClaireLouise82 · 12/06/2018 21:55

Hi everyone
Please can I join you - I'm currently 6 weeks tomorrow my EDD is 6th Feb (if I've worked it out correctly) This will be our second child, we have a little boy who has just turned 6 so there will be an almost 7 year age gap between them.

No symptoms so far but it was the same in my first pregnancy so not too worried. The time seems to be dragging though I feel I've been around 5 weeks now for ages! I've booked a private scan at 8 weeks just to make sure everything's ok and cos another 6 weeks just feels an eternity to wait, its on 28th June so can't come quick enough. I've got my first midwife appointment on 2nd July.

Wishing everyone the best of luck xx

clairehr · 13/06/2018 05:26

Welcome and waves to those jumping on! @twiglet it appears my phone changed your name to twirled previously, apologies!

Ladies, is it possible to have diarrhoea instead of constipation in the first 4-5 weeks? I thought progesterone was supposed to make you 'bunged up'?

DollyDaydreamz · 13/06/2018 08:01

Hi everyone congratulations.

DC2 expected 13th Feb. Was wondering if anyone else has been experiencing thrush during early pregnancy. I know it’s pretty common and that creams should be ok to use I’m just a bit freaking out about using anything was trying to see if it would improve if cut out sugar and taking probiotics (pregnancy safe ones!) but I’m thinking it is getting too uncomfortable 😣 and might have to use something else - pretty miserable 😩

I hope I can get it under control soon as all I’m craving is lots and lots of sugar (maybe though just coz I’m trying to restrict it and nothing to do with pregnancy 😂🤣)

MrsY87 · 13/06/2018 08:49

@clairehr I seem to have fairly loose bowels 😳 and I'm taking progesterone suppositories so expected to be bunged up! Pregnancy does weird things!

Hi @DollyDaydreamz we're due date buddies!

craftymum01 · 13/06/2018 09:26

@clairhr I’m exactly the same. Was hoping it would helping with the bloating but doesn’t seem to be!

hayley013 · 13/06/2018 10:35

Hey everyone! Congratulations! Hope everyone is good 😊

I got my BFP yesterday, and with my estimations I am 5w today and due 13th Feb! I already have a 4yo, but still feeling a little overwhelmed right now.

How's everyone doing with symptoms? I feel a bit nauseous if I don't keep eating, my boobs are so sore and I'm struggling to sleep as well.

Looking forward to following everyone's journey ❤️

Seafoodeatit · 13/06/2018 11:01

I think anything and everything goes in pregnancy!

Seafoodeatit · 13/06/2018 11:02

Welcome @hayley013 :)

PonyPals · 13/06/2018 14:09

Had my first scan today at 6.2
All went well. Heartbeat is 117 and the little bean is tiny at 3mm.
Have another scan in 10 days to see how it grows.

KimRobs87 · 13/06/2018 14:26

@PonyPals - how cute! Glad to hear all is OK. I haven't even had my first appointment yet 6+2 at the moment so can't wait to book the scan in x

hayleyfx · 13/06/2018 14:39

@PonyPals congrats! How lovely to hear the heartbeat. I have my scan next week, I’m 6+2 also. Really nervous, fingers crossed 🤞

Nausea is really kicking in for me... I managed to have soup and a sandwich for lunch and immediately after I was in the bathroom on the verge of being sick for a good 20 mins. Still feel yucky. Scared to eat now!

Topsy15 · 13/06/2018 14:49

Hi everyone, I finally gave in and tested last night after feeling like my period is coming for two weeks and got a positive! I am half terrified half excited, I estimate I'm due on 7th Feb. So lovely to be able to chat to people at the same stage! I'm 26, this will be my first and we are currently in the middle of buying a house, wish me luck! Anyone else finding it doesn't feel real?! ShockConfusedGrin

clairehr · 13/06/2018 14:56

@MrsY87 @craftymum01 Glad it's not just me! Was starting to get paranoid about my progesterone levels or something. Still going to ask about it at appointment on Monday though, just in case!

Welcome to all new joiners and here's to a happy and healthy 9ish months to us all 😊

Bluelagoon25 · 13/06/2018 14:57

@Topsy15
I am 26 too and this is my first time being pregnant! Due 14th February and it definitely doesn't feel real yet... I think it will hit me once I've had my first scan.
You must be so excited SmileGrin

clairehr · 13/06/2018 15:11

@Topsy15 @bluelagoon25 Definitely doesn't feel real yet. Once I see baby I'm hoping it will sink in a bit more!

KimRobs87 · 13/06/2018 15:12

@hayleyfx - think we might be due date buds! Do you mind me asking, is your scan private? I want one x

Wordie · 13/06/2018 15:18

@Topsy15 definitely doesn’t feel real, I actually feel like I’ve made it up and I’m lying to people. Keep doing tests to make sure! Although, think I’ll stop now as I’ve had 3 positive digital tests and I can’t afford to keep buying them! 😂

Topsy15 · 13/06/2018 15:22

@Wordie @Bluelagoon25 completely agree! Scans should be arranged for about 7 weeks time for us am I right?? Will be so exciting to have it confirmed! Smile

Wordie · 13/06/2018 15:35

I’m just looking up private scans now @Topsy15
