I’ve just had my BFP after 3 years of trying, will be DC2 (touches wood). The NHS due date calculator has my due date around the 2nd Feb. Anyone else ready to jump on board? Grin

I haven't yet rung the children's centre (where you book to see a midwife here in east Cambridgeshire). Will be ringing tomorrow at 6weeks. Last time with my DS I think I was seen at 9.5 weeks and scan then booked in for 12.5. But not sure this time how long it will be. I barely saw the same midwife twice and always had to repeat myself as they didn't know anything about history or anything. You bypass the GP here unless you need to see them. Kind of wish there was some consistency but everywhere is different.

Eyedontknow · 10/06/2018 13:47

@Cloud9889 My hospital doesn't do booking in appointments until 8-10 weeks, so I made an appointment with my GP to discuss things as this is my first. GP tested my urine, took my weight, and asked a few questions. I ended up having a UTI and got put on antibiotics, so I'm glad I made the earlier appointment.

LouiseD2018 · 10/06/2018 19:39

No hugely positive news here, HCG up 40 % not quite what they wanted to see so another blood test as planned tomorrow. I've read a lot, mixed stories some indicated eptopic, some miscarriage some went on to have successful pregnancies. A little more monitoring to do I guess :/

LittleD0t · 10/06/2018 20:12

Oh @LouiseD2018 big hugs and fx for you.

TheTittifersHaveSungTheirSong · 10/06/2018 20:14

Oh @LouiseD2018 how worrying for you 😔 hope you get good news from your next blood test x

angel0071987 · 10/06/2018 20:34

Sorry to hear that @LouiseD2018. Your numbers are up which I believe is a good thing. In April when i was in epu and had a scan at nearly 8 weeks they saw nothing on scan (although tilted uterus so may have been hiding or dates out) they tested my hcg and They said if they increased or nearly doubled then that would be a good thing. Unfortunately mine fell by over a half. So increase is positive to hold onto for now. Hopefully more scans and bloods will continue for good news for you Thanks

Seafoodeatit · 10/06/2018 20:44

@LouiseD2018 I'm so sorry to hear that, hopefully tomorrows blood tests will show a bigger increase, big hugs in the meantime.

angel0071987 · 11/06/2018 05:26

So I've just woken up to blood when wiping. Given the fact that I had a chemical in January at 4.5weeks a mc in April at nearly 8weeks and now this don't holdout any hope. Not even bothering to ring the epu as last time they refused to see me (unless I pay for an early scan which I can't afford to do this time). I thought this one felt good as was beginning to get morning sickness and loads of other symptoms on and off too whixh is more than the other two. Anyhow - looks like I'm out again.

TheTittifersHaveSungTheirSong · 11/06/2018 06:32

Oh @angel0071987 how awful for you, I'm so sorry. Take care of yourself Thanksxx

LouiseD2018 · 11/06/2018 07:12

@angel0071987 so sorry, I hope it isn't a repeat. Isn't it standard to scan to rule out eptopic etc when there's blood?

ronniemipperton · 11/06/2018 07:13

So sorry to hear that @angel0071987. Hope you have a good support network around you. Flowers

MrsY87 · 11/06/2018 07:25

Sorry to hear your bloods didn't show the increase they were looking for @LouiseD2018 hopefully today's will be more positive.

@angel0071987 sorry to hear you have some bleeding, a lot of women have bleeding in early pregnancy and go on to have successful pregnancies, hopefully that will be you this time. Keeping my fingers crossed for you, I know how awful seeing blood when you are pregnant is.

Wordie · 11/06/2018 09:28

@angel0071987 so sorry to hear this, it must be devastating to go through that. I’m keep my fingers crossed for you that this time it’s different!

angel0071987 · 11/06/2018 09:59

Thanks all. Unfortunately the bleeding has escalated to really heavy bright red and with clots too. Definitely no hope now :(
Hopefully next month/time will be more positive.
Hugs and positive thoughts to all you wonderful ladies. And good luck with your sticky beansThanks

seafoodeatit · 11/06/2018 12:44

I'm so so sorry to hear that angel, I hope you have some good support irl. I wish you all the best going forwards.

Wellthisunexpected · 11/06/2018 14:26

Really sorry to hear that @angel0071987.

Keeping fingers crossed for you @LouiseD2018.

After my mad panic last week about tests not getting darker etc I'm feeling a little more positive, got some definite symptoms, morning sickness today and totally off sweet foods. Right now I am pregnant. Deep breath.

clairehr · 11/06/2018 14:31

Waves

Tentatively jumping on board! Got my BFP on Thursday last week at 3w +5. Should be due around February 16th, first doctors appointment a week today.

Have had 2 chemicals and a miscarriage in the past 13 months, so keeping fingers crossed for a sticky bean!

Getting lots of mild cramping, but hoping and praying that's normal for now. Anyone else around 4w 2d?

somethingfromnothing · 11/06/2018 14:43

Hi I’m 4+3 today. I’ve had en ectopic, 4 mc and 2 cp in the past 3 years. I also have a 5 year old. I had some spotting last week when I was due af. Nothing since but feeling very nervous as to how this is going to pan out

hayleyfx · 11/06/2018 14:57

@angel0071987 I’m so sorry. I hope you’re okay, I know what you’re going through and it’s so hard. Hope you’re getting lots of support. Sending you hugs and plenty of good luck for the future Flowers

@somethingfromnothing welcome. I really hope this pregnancy has a happier outcome for you. Fingers crossed for a very sticky bean 🤞

hayleyfx · 11/06/2018 14:59

@somethingfromnothing oh and I’m so sorry for your previous losses, how awful x

Wordie · 11/06/2018 15:44

@clairehr our dates are exactly the same, BFP last Thursday, 4+2 today and due 16/02.

First pregnancy and so far I’m more Stressed now than I was trying for 9 months! So many stories of miscarriage, I had no idea the odds were so high!

LittleD0t · 11/06/2018 17:25

@wordie I hadn't realised how high the odds were either. I'm just hoping I have sticky bean.
There are risk calculators online which can help to reassure you a little bit. I'm using one just to help ease my worry each day.

somethingfromnothing · 11/06/2018 17:31

Thanks @hayleyfx

I’ve been getting a bit of mild back ache. I’m hoping it’s just from being on my feet all day at work. I’ve got an early scan booked in for next week because of my previous ectopic. A week is such a long time when you are pregnant!

clairehr · 11/06/2018 18:04

@Wordie Oh, that's pretty cool! Pregnancy buddies 😂 How are you feeling at the moment? Many/any symptoms? I'm only really having mild cramps at the moment like pre AF. Did have sore boobs, but that's died down (which has me terrified!) They're feeling pretty ginormous today though, or it could be wishful thinking!

@LittleD0t What risk calculator are you using? And what kind of hing do they show you/ask you? Might have a look at one if it would actually calm me down!

Wordie · 11/06/2018 18:15

@clairehr that is a big relief to me! I’m the same, did early test, felt nauseous, sore boobs and ridiculously tired. That died down yesterday and today. Boobs feel huge and my bra is tight and feel a bit bloaty and crampy. I was worried things weren’t as strong. Although, we are so early I’m sure we will regret wishing for symptoms in a few weeks!
