Hi ladies,

I had a MW app today everything went really well, BP a bit low which I knew (I feel like its low), baby's HB fine and well, baby still head down thank god, spent 40 mins in with her talking over a few things mainly the HB I want, she has given me a "home birth plan" to fill out and at my next app she is coming to see me , had a load of bloods taken (I hate that bit but hopefully the last time), and I maybe going for another scan (apart from the one I'm having next week) because when you want/planning a HB you get a 38 week scan to make sure baby is head down and size of babe, MW has given me a list of things to get for the HB so as soon as I know next week whether the placenta has moved I'm off shopping for these bits, oh and I mustn't forget "butter" her request LOL! 17 days till I'm in my HB time window and counting!

Hope everyone is fine and well I'll catch up tomorrow, I'm so tired, off for a nice long bath, then abit of telly before bed!

Blimey Bodders - hadn't really clicked you were so close!!! Or in fact anyone in July - that month only starts on Sunday!!! [in case you didn't know!!]

Think I still want a kitchen-diner, just need to persuade DH when I see him. Chances of getting it done before we move in in Mid-aug is minimal though, but nevermind.

PG=frisky goggles, not as prominent today thank goodness - was quite scary yesterday!!. Only 5 sleeps til DH is back. Can't wait!

Oooh that's good they give you a scan for HB Babymad - I don't think I'll get offered that round my way though... Now my mind is boggling as to why your MW wants you to have plenty of butter in stock. I'm hoping it's for her toast/crumpets....or maybe it's to grease the baby's head as it crowns to ease its exit

Thanks for your words Firsty - you are absolutely right of course - any sign of the slightest bit of trouble and they'll have me in the back of that ambulance like a shot. Its nice to be reminded of that though when your head goes in to a spin, so thanks, I really appreciate that. I see 3flights has popped early as well - bet she is relieved not to be pregnant anymore with all those stairs! I agree with you that the bump is getting soooooo heavy now. And only 8 days left for you at work - that's fab

DD been a nightmare to put to bed tonight, and for the last few nights. Won't cooperate at all, and just screams when you try and talk/explain to her. She's normally pretty good. It's just a phase, it's just a phase, it's just a phase (repeat until calm)!

I know Fettle, I know On the one hand it is just around the corner, but on the other it seems like a million years away still. I really ought to do some shopping - still have not bought any nappies, mat. pads, cotton wool, or even a change mat! Woeful!

What's a "troll"? Feeling a bit ignorant tonight. Had to ask what "Dabs" were, which DD needs for PE at her new school? And now, I've reading one of these weird threads and came across the term "troll". Only trolls I know are in fairy tales and live under bridges and aren't very good-looking (generally!!).

I have to say though, we are totally unprepared for this LO, I know we have 3 months still, but we move house in the interim and don't even have any furniture for the nursery, other than DD's old cot! Best not to panic, I say!!!

How can I be busier since stopping work that makes NO sense at all!!! Although I have had to do a fair bit of work over the last few days just finishing up the handover, and have my mid-year review tomorrow, but hopefully that will be it! Feet up time.... I think I'm going to venture out on a car seat buying mission today.... Mmmm, just as soon as I've had a lie down . How are you doing now Greedy - sounds like you've been really up and down recently. I wish there was something we could do to help with your work situation. And you will look lovely when you are at Centreparcs . I think I was about 24wks ish when we went in March and I thought I looked big then as well... Am still getting the comments of "oh, any day" and "its going to be a big boy" - Well actually I dont think he is going to be a big boy, its just me that looks big. Some people dont have a clue. I told a friend yesterday that we were having another boy and she said "oh, it would have been so nice if it was a girl wouldn't it". I didn't really now what to say . I guess I am so used to the fact that we will have 2 boys that I can't imagine it any other way.

CONGRATUALATIONS PINKB!!!! I hope Brooke is settling in well - I bet her brothers adore her already .

Goodness it is getting exciting on this thread. Can't wait for all the July babies to start appearing.

Went shopping today... GAP sale was on so stocked up on holiday clobber for DC... also bought a very wee blue t-shirt, couldnt resist and it was only £1.99!!

Also got a few bits for DP as it's his birthday soon.

Chooster- no havent succumbed to an amby natures nest yet! I think I will probably wait and see what kind of sleeper this LO is. However, I still think they are gorgeous, so you never know...

Oooh, Gap sale!! Sounds good...

Although I spent a fortune today - got quite a bit of stuff for me (nursing bras etc) and some bits and bobs for the wee fella.

Dh painting the baby's room as I type - Its all a bit real now isn't it

How come everyone else's DHs are doing the painting of the baby's room, and I had to do ours myself He's very busy with work, granted, but still seems to find time to pop to the pub....

Chooster, glad to hear your nesting has well and truly commenced anyway!

I bought some sanitary towels today - so that's one less thing off the humungous "to do" list

DD much much better at going to bed tonight, phew! We'll see what happens tomorrow...

Kitchen half finished now - and have dishwasher and washing machine back in action, hooorrrrrraaaaaaayyyyyyy!

i like coming on here cos it forces me to think about babies and nice things and is a bit of escape from RL!

i was never given a scan for my planned HB either bodders, i think babymad is just lucky! good idea though isn't it!? i am sure you will be ok having your HB bodders, the worries you are having are only natural

chooster - hope you are enjoying your mat leave, and firsty hope your last week whizzes past!

fettle - sorry your rampant feelings have subsided. i am sure once you see dh they will come flooding back
