Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Rainbowdays · 22/06/2007 13:21

Other wise known at Mum03 - yep I am here to announce my BFP!!! Can I come graduate?

Greedy - I know we both had that plan about getting pg in March, I guess my body was not listening as my baby will be due in March instead!!!!

I am already having nausea and cramping, - yet I am only 3 weeks and 5 days!!!! I have had serial blood tests already, so I am a happy camper. I will be getting a scan in about 4 weeks time

honeyapple · 22/06/2007 13:39

WOW!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! MUM03/ RAINBOWDAYS!
That's fantastic news, so excited for you. That should cheer the gals up on the temp thread, everyone seemed to be getting a bit down on that thread recently. I am so thoroughly pleased for you. That good news has just added to my exciting news....

Well, just got back from my 22 wk scan, and I am pleased to announce I am having a lovely BOY!

fettleandminifettle · 22/06/2007 13:48

Mum03 - at work, shouldn't be on here, but had to say congratulations!!!!! So pleased for you and welcome to this thread!. Have to remember your new name though!!!

Honey - also congrats on the scan result - another lovely boy for us!!

Greeds - how are the pains? I hope the fact that you've not been on today doesn't mean you did start labour last night? Mine are still on and off - definitely got more pains than usual, but don't think it is anything to worry about - just enough to go "ooh", "aah" at times!!!

back later

The lady who did my scan said that interestingly all babies seem to develop the same in regard to size up to 30 wks, which is when they start to either get larger/or stay smaller than other babies.

My baby has currently his head on the 95th percentile... Hope I can push him out! Sonographer very sweet and said it was a lovely sized head!

BabyMadandBIGbump · 22/06/2007 14:28

Afternoon all,

Still getting backache on and off, LO seems to be kicking at my belly button area sometimes to the side so I'm thinking another OP baby for me and more then likely also why I'm getting backache. I have NO energy what so ever, and my mind just want to do so much, AND I'm so sick of these nose bleeds, anyway enough about me how is everyone!?

contraction greedy and fettle what are you like, eastender I felt that the last 5/10 were so unrealistic but that's just me (why go to the trouble of showing you the cord but when they were checking the bump for HB they did it under the covers ?)!

congrats Rainbowdays, well done chick!

Catch up l8er if I get chance, if I don't have a great weekend everyone! Babymadxx

greedygreedyguzzler · 22/06/2007 14:31

WELL DONE MUM03!!!!!! about flippin' time!!!!! i am so chuffed you have your BFP and i cant quite believe that you aren't due till march! seems so far away, but makes me seem so much further along!that means there is a due in nov, dec, jan, feb and march thread all after the one i am on!!!! i knew you would get there in the end!!! so your ds and dd are the same ages as mine aren't they? ds nearly 4? mine is 4 july 18th and dd 2 1/2, mine was 2 jan 5th!

honeyapple! - i had forgotten your scan was today, sorry. another boy hey? how lovely, lots more cuddles for you! have you told your other two what you are having? guess bluebell isn't really a name option anymore!!

fettle - no pains for me today! only the usual twinges, but the pains from last night seem to have stopped!
my friends baby is going to be ok apparently, but they still dont know what was wrong with him, so he is being kept in for observation.

i have made a list of stuff to buy for our baby, and i am surprised how long it is!!! didn't think i realy needed anything till i started writing it all down!!

BabyMadandBIGbump · 22/06/2007 14:33

honeyapple congrats on a little boy !

honeyapple · 22/06/2007 14:40

Thanks everyone!

Just starting to get my head around having a little boy. DD already knows because she was at the scan. She was brilliant. Although she had said before she wanted it to be a girl, she seemed more than happy that it is a boy. However she said we should call it Peter , don't think we will be going for that one . Cant wait to tell DS. He will be very pleased. Mind you I am not so sure he will be keen when he is 16 and has an annoying 8 yr old brother! And poor DD, one annoying big brother, and now a little brother to wind her up too!

greedygreedyguzzler · 22/06/2007 14:42

she will love it! she will be the only special little girl!!! unless there will be a no. 4.....................?

greedygreedyguzzler · 22/06/2007 14:42

lissie got another BFP too!

honeyapple · 22/06/2007 14:46

Greedy- you are right about being the special girl, hope it doesnt go too much to her head!

Great to hear about lissie, I dont know her, but have been aware of her bad luck with m/c. Really pleased to hear another BFP.

I can't believe there is a due in march either!

Ha! Firsty... I dont think she will ever have a boyfriend... or certainly wont ever bring one home! Not unless he's been OKed by her bro's!!

Rainbowdays · 22/06/2007 18:41

Thank you all for the congratulations. It is really start to hit me that I am pg again now, mentally that is, I have guessed for a few days now as I was getting the familiar cramps of the uterus stretching.

Honeyapple - congrats on finding out that you are having another son, how exciting.

Greedy - yep you got it right, my ds is 4 on 12 July and my dd is 2 1/2 too, so we have very similar gaps.

Oh is so good to be with you all here.

greedygreedyguzzler · 22/06/2007 23:11

so when does the third trimester officially start then? just wondering!

'night 'night!

PinkButterfly · 23/06/2007 21:04

Hello ladies

Just popping on (v briefly though I'm afraid) to let you all know that my beautiful baby girl arrived safe and well at 12.41 on Monday weighing 8lb 12oz (exactly the same weight as both my ds's were - how spooky is that!). Her name is Brooke Elisabeth and she is just an absolute darling - everyone is totally smitten with her. We are both doing just fine. C-section went well and although I have been in a good bit more discomfort this time round she is worth every minute.

Hope you are doing well and look forward to catching up on all your news next week when I get a chance and I'll get some pics posted too!

Take care all. xxxxx

fettleandminifettle · 23/06/2007 21:17

Pinky - fantastic news!!! What a beautiful name! Glad all went well - hope you recover quickly!

Greedy, think 3rd trimester starts at 28 weeks, 14weeks is start of 2nd, so we've got a little way to go yet!!

Saw my friend and her DD today - beautiful - I'd forgotten how tiny they are when born and she's nearly 3 weeks old and was 8lb 10oz when born, so not small! Had lots of lovely cuddles though. My DD was so sweet with her, holding her finger out for baby to grab, gently stroking her face and feeding her a bottle really patiently (baby is having trouble feeding and putting on weight, so my poor friend is expressing, breast feeding, then topping up with expressed milk via a bottle. She has to wake her DD every 3 hours to feed her, as otherwise she'll sleep all day!). Seems to be doing ok now though, with all that feeding.

Still having odd pains, but maybe you are right Firsty and that it is growing pains. Haven't felt as much movement over the las few days either, so maybe there is more room to swim about now!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

take care

honeyapple · 23/06/2007 21:17

Oh PinkB! How lovely to hear from you.
Congratulations on the birth of Brooke Elisabeth, what an adorable name. Very spooky about the weight! All the best, hope your tummy starts to feel better soon. Looking forward to seeing the pics,

Lots of love

xxxx

Bodkin · 23/06/2007 21:32

Congratulations PinkB! I bet she is gorgeous! Lovely name too. Hope all is going well for you and that your boys are letting you get plenty of rest! Will be lovely to see a piccy if you get round to it.

Hi everyone else - hope you're all having lovely weekends. I'm home alone - DP on a stag do.

Congratulations RainbowDays and welcome!

Honeyapple - Another blue one for you! Great news.

I have just eaten a whole tin of artichoke hearts (straight from the tin, naturally) - do you think there is any chance I might be pregnant

honeyapple · 23/06/2007 21:37

Thanks Bodkin, just getting my head around having a boy! We were out today, and all I saw were little toddling boys! I managed to walk past mothercare today despite there being a sale on!

I am also on my own tonight, DP out with his gym buddies. I have just eaten a huge bowl of Special K, now looking around to see what else I fancy. No tins of artichokes here I'm afraid .

OOH! Firtsy, thanks for the tip... I have just booked tickets to see Shrek for today! Pissing it down outside, didnt realise you could see Shrek this weekend, THANKS!! DC very excited, DP not quite so much as has a hangover...

We will have to have a review session later.

fettleandminifettle · 24/06/2007 12:22

Don't tell me what happens in Shrek!! I'll have to wait until it comes out on DVD!! DD still not quite old enough to sit still in a cinema.

I'm totally and utterly shattered - not with tiredness, but just exhaustion. Took DD swimming this morning and for a hour was running around after her in the shallow end - you don't realise how much you are using your muscles until you get out!!! I'm sitting on sofa thinking, I don't want to get up!!! thankfully Mum is cooking lunch for us all. Then I'll have to get the energy for some supermarket shopping this afternoon (another one of those full=time working issues, having to shop over the weekend!)

DH rang me just as we were going swimming this morning - it was 3am his time and he was completely p*ssed!! Sitting by the pool in the dark in his hotel in Kansas - just hope he didn't fall in after speaking to us. Do you all having emotional drunk DH/DPs? Mine always wants to tell me how much he loves me when drunk, which is sweet, but when he calls me at 3am, I'm never very talkative! This time with the time difference at least it was 9am for us!! DD was a bit bemused by her conversation with him, as he wasn't making much sense! hope he wakes up in time to check-out as he has to go back to barracks today to start work again tomorrow! Sometimes I think I have 2 children already, DD and DH - I worry about them both so much!!

Hope you all have good Sundays - speak soon
