Hi lovely TTC grad girls - sorry have been so crap at posting - have been trying to keep up but then run out of time to post- grrr.
My sympathies are with all you working girls having a hard time and so close to mat leave as well. I know it easy for me to say but take care of yourselves - employers and colleagues expectations are a real pressure - but you and your bumps are the most important things. I know if I had stayed in my last job I would not have had a proper maternity leave in fact the boss used to joke about telling me to remember to pack my laptop and mobile in my hospital bag - Ha Ha - NOT!!
I can't believe so many of you are getting so close - I am off again for work tonight and will be pretty much "offline" until July 10th and by that time some of you will be almost cooked!! I hope Pink is OK and all went well on Monday.
Babymad - well done on the new car (and nursery!) greedy will think I am stalking her after the Cath Kidston wall paper but we also have a Santa Fe!(only a 5 seater though as we have 2 dogs to take up the boot!) In fact we just bought it and picked it up the week before BFP and the first thing DH said was "Hmm - it looks a bit empty without a carseat" Hoepfully we will have one soon
All the name talk is very inspiring - (don't listen to the silly dentist greeds - if you like Autumn you go for it - I like Kaydie too though!) DH came up with a surprisingly good boys name yesterday - I was pleasantly surprised as we usually disagree
Chooster - yippee about last few days of work - hopefully by the time I get back on you will have had a lovely 2 weeks "off" My DH and I are at home all day nearly everyday together and I really like it - we do our own things and then "meet" for lunch in the kitchen ( or for Deal or No Deal !!)
Bodkin- Hope the kitchen work gets done speedily and you are living the domestic goddess fantasy asap
fettle - hope your M6 journey is painfree with no Dumbo overdosing!
firststar - hope you get some relief for your hands hon - sounds really uncomfortable {{hugs}}
honeyapple - Ohh a baby girl dream - are you going to find out (apologies if you already have but I have lost track of everyones dates and scans etc - maybe we should start a separate stats thread?? ) Hope opinionated DD is being more lovely to her Mummy!!
MrsMc - Hope you had a fab holidya if you read this far back!!
Iwillbe - are you away too? Hope all is well hon
I had mw booking in yesterday - she was very nice and answered most of my list of questions She told me to avoid peanuts just cos DH's mum has asthma??? I had just eaten 2 pbandj sandwiches I think I am going to risk it - its not like I eat loads and no one else in our family has any allergies?
Anyway -I am 9+3 today - still scared, still disbelieving and thinking this is too good to be true. No really bad symptoms nausea seems to be much better? glad but worried in equal measure. Oh well think until we get to scan in 3 weeks will not feel any different. Sooo want this to be OK and to allow myself to be excited - fingers crossed.
Right sorry for any mistakes/typos etc - must run - supposed to be out the door in 15 mins - argg.
{{{Big hugs}}} to everyone - will try my best to catch up at some point in the next few weeks - if not see you on July 10th (hopefully with successful scan under my belt).
