Babymad - ooooh, shiny new car. Lucky you. We've got a Picasso - think it's quite similar to the Zafira, and I love it as it's soooo practical (boring sensible mum alert), but a little sluggish up hills.

PinkB, hope all went well today and you are enjoying your little pink bundle.

Firsty - I get the odd bit of numb hands at night, but I think it is to do with not being able to move around in my sleep as much as usual so the blood supply is getting cut off. Not long now anyway

eastenders was a bit odd wasn't it? i kind of feel like the writers dont know where they are going with it and they are just making it up as they go along!!! i was so convinced that rob REALLY loved dawn and her amazingly small bump!!

chooster our completion date for the extension is 8 wks time so i guess you, bodders and firsty will all have your ickle ones by then.....oh and babymad!!!! that makes it seem REALLY close for you all!

we have got a hyundai santa fe.the 7 seater! its great! feels a bit like driving a tank and i am the worst driver in the world, but i dont think anyone round here minds me driving in the middle of the road and taking up 2 parking spaces wherever i go!........everyone is very understanding round here!!!

Eastenders was a bit weird last night - how did she get her hand out of the handcuffs - I do so hate it when things are obviously impossible!!! Good blood everywhere though and May's face was pretty scary! Makes Stella seem normal! [I know what happens to her (Stella), if anyone wants a spoiler!!!]

Chooster, meant to say that I'm joking about copying your names - I'm not sure DH would go for Caden. Greeds - I think I've heard of a female Caden, not sure whether it would be spelt the same?

I hope MrsMC is ok - unlike her to disappear for so many days. She's not even been on the Mc thread for a few days, so she must be away. Is she not on holiday? Or is that still coming?

Been feeling funny since last night really odd feelings and pains, feel like (hormones) crying as well and baby is lower DH said at the weekend that I was like the days running up to DS#2 birth think I'll take it easy today, Anyone else had odd feelings at this point (almost 34 weeks)? I've always said that I will have this LO early but this early I don't think so!

Hey Babymad - hope all is well with you. I think I reached a turning point around 34 weeks - had a couple of emotional outbursts and nagging pains in the night. Now I feel like Superwoman - it's great! So hopefully that is where your heading once you get over this little bump in the road. I seem to remember the last 4 weeks being like this for me last pg - super energetic, much less mood swingy and generally up for anything. It almost feels like the old me coming out the cupboard again (only to go back in once baby bodders arrives!)

Also Babymad - good luck with the driving! Where are you at with it - surely you're not taking your test at 8 months pregnant?! I passed mine a year and a half ago after 4 fails and about 7,000 lessons Still a rubbish driver, but I now at least have a piece of paper that says otherwise! Anyway, it is the best (and hardest) thing I have ever done, so go for it and don't give up

Kitchen is now virtually non existant. sink and units came out this morning - the guys are coming to take up the old vinyl and re-screed the floor this afternoon - so far so good though. New vinyl being laid on Thurs, then new sink unit going in on Friday, and redecorating and tiling next week - not long to go until I can ponce around like Nigella Lawson in my gorgeous new kitchen Fingers crossed anyway.

Greedy - hope your friend's induction goes ok.

I would love an Eastenders 'Stella' spoiler as well... She's a loon!!! Yes it was a bit odd last night with Rob / Dawn / May... Not sure I buy the fact that he seems so smitten with May when she has clearly lost the plot . I agree Greeds - I think they are making it up as they go along. I think it was Fettle that said that they'd planned this whole baby kidnap story but throught it was inappropriate. I heard on the radio that there had been a few complaints about last nights episode due to the content.

Anyway, dismantling cupboards and panaroma sounds much more constructive Bodders!!! Good to hear the kitchen is coming along so well . I bet you can't wait to get a new batch of flapjacks on the go

You are right, MrsMc is on holiday - she left on sunday and will be sunning herself on a Spanish beach probably as we speak - lucky thing!! .

Firsty - yes, its DH's last day at work today - his shift ended at 2pm and he said it was really wierd handing in his ID etc... As there are over 250 people going from the office today he said the atmosphere has been very emotional. Loads of teary people who are suddenly all best pals after years of getting on each others nerves. To be honest, I'm just glad its over - its been such a long drawn out process as they were first told in November.

I agree - Caden is a fab name!!! Just wish DH still thought so... I know a girl called Kadie Greedy?!? Or you could use a female variation like Kayden.

Hope this isn't your body getting ready Babymad!!! It would be nice to have a couple more weeks. Wonder who will be next?

He'll be getting under my feet thats what he'll be doing - especially as I'm not working either from Friday. He absolutely HATES big brother, so that would be worse than work for him.

Seriously though, he's going to be concentrating on building up his training business. He's been starting that and doing his job at BA at the same time over the last couple of months, so it will be good for him to only have to concentrate on one thing.
