@PumpkinPatch000 I considered panorama but decided on harmony in the end. Mainly because I’m not sure how helpful I’d find it to know about deletions etc which can have very different prognosis in different children. I basically want to know if there’s a life threatening anomaly like trisomy 13/18 as with the abdominal suture a termination would be much safer done earlier. But that’s just me!

@mummyjl just take the scan if it will reassure you, you are not wasting anyone’s time! I’m also really anxious this week. I think for me it is that the 12 week mark is so close but yet seems so impossible. Feels like with every day I have more to lose if that makes sense? I’m clutching to the fact I feel absolutely exhausted and still get up to the toilet during the night. Both of these suddenly stopped with the MMCs.... it is all so difficult!

Pumpkin, yeah, I did have bleeding between 6 and 7 weeks as well. Just seeing more is upsetting. Hoping it'll all settle down again.

Thanks everyone, I cope badly with scan anxiety. I’m a combination of terrified there won’t be a heartbeat today and if there is I’ll have complications from cerclage and lose this one too. It’s funny as in every other aspect of my life I’m the opposite of anxious! Generally very calm and easy going!

Put my only fitting jeans on today. They are pinching a bit but I figure if all goes well this will be the last time I wear them for a long while as certainly wont want to wear jeans with an abdominal wound and by time it heals belly will be too big to tie them!

@Paranormal I’m the same, calm and laid back generally but the pregnancy has sent me crazy. The anxiety is crippling at times!

I have to admit to being a mega-stresser in all areas of life - in fact, one thing I've noticed is that pregnancy has taken up so much of my worry headspace that it's actually made things at work much easier as I have much more of a 'don't sweat the small stuff' attitude!

I think it's so stressful because we all want it so bad. I feel like im managing better than i expected but ive only known for a week.

How are you doing today @SoozC?

Had scan and bloods for harmony. Looks good. Haematoma getting smaller, baby has 4 limbs and a brain, hopping about. Measuring 11+1 so moved forward a few days. Early to measure but nuchal fluid looked normal. Results in 2 weeks and another scan (package deal). Nhs scan next Friday. Fingers crossed it survives the surgery tomorrow now!

Ive been checking every half hour for an update @Paranormalbouquet great news and sounds promising too about tests and stuff.

I hope everything tomorrow goes as well as can be. How long are you in for?

DBoo you are very sweet! Will be in for 2/3 nights (although secretly hoping to get out on Saturday).

If anyone is in London and booking harmony I can recommend the fetal medicine centre. Incredibly detailed scan considering how early it is.

Oh heck well it is the safest place to be i guess. Will keep fingers crossed you get home earlier than expected!

Great news about the scan, paranormal. Hope all goes very smoothly tomorrow - remember they wouldn't be doing it if they didn't think it was best thing for you and little one.

My symptoms have gone today, I know they fluctuate and you can't read in to it, but it is hard not too! 4+3 today. Going really slowly!
