Spotting, turning into bleeding & cramps here today at 6+1, I'm guessing that's me out again :( Hoping it doesn't take as long this time round.

Sending sticky bean thoughts to you all x

Iswallowtoothpaste · 28/04/2018 16:19

paranormal actually after looking at it again it is darker but thought it would be much darker than it is. I’m guessing I’m probably nearly 4 weeks? Somewhere in there anyway.

BloominMoomin89 · 28/04/2018 16:23

Ive had cramps and twinges since i found out which has made me check on toilet roll every wipe since mid march. Its looking ok so far :) xxx

Its sinking in now. Yesterday i wanted to throw all baby stuff away id kept from 4yo but now im looking forward to digging it out in a few months. I must be feeling a little better now?

Thank you all xx

Paranormalbouquet · 28/04/2018 16:26

MsMGS I had a reasonable amount of bleeding this morning and still have cramps and I’m not out yet according to the scan that I paid a fortune for today. I really hope it’s not bad news for you.

Iswallowtoothpaste they don’t get really dark for a while. I didn’t take a test this time until I was almost a week late and it was darker than I’ve ever seen it but in the very early days if your hcg starts out at around 6.5-10 (which is when you’ll get a faint line) in 48-72 hours it will only have doubled to 13-20. So line will still be faint. And at that stage differences in urine concentration etc make a difference.

Iswallowtoothpaste · 28/04/2018 16:28

Thank you paranormal hav just looked at the test again and it looks darker still!

Hoping md praying verything turns out well for you, look after yourself and thank you for your support x

SoozC · 28/04/2018 16:48

Moomin, glad you had a good scan! I'm sure some worry is still there but just take it one day at a time.

I've been knicker-watching every time I go to the loo this past week. And every twinge and faint cramping makes me instantly fearful. I wasn't going to pay for an early scan but now I think if I get past 7 weeks this time I'll book one because the idea of seeing an actual fetal pole this time will greatly reassure me. Didn't get that last time, just the yolk sac in one gestational sac and one empty gestational sac.

MsMGS · 28/04/2018 16:56

Thanks Paranormal, I think I'll contact EPU on Monday and see if I can get a scan then. I've got a private one booked in for the following Monday, I really struggled to find suitable dates at OH works away a lot.
Its great you've seen a heartbeat today, I'm thinking of you and your little bean

Waggily · 28/04/2018 17:00

I'm pleased I found you. I'm 7 weeks pregnant with my third child after loosing my son to Edwards Sundrome about this time last year. I knew I was going to find pregnancy tough this time round but I've been fine. Until last night when the anxiety kicked in and i convinced myself it was an ectopic pregnancy because I had a small twinge. I hate middle of the night worrying. And i'm sure there will be many more to come. I miss my innocent, naive first pregnancy!

iamloading · 28/04/2018 18:13

Just in response to two of the posts - @Paranormalbouquet I measured 4 days behind up to 10 weeks which really scared me but then she caught up and is now actually measuring ahead.
Also my tests defo got lighter one week after the first - no idea why as everything was fine.
Just hope that can give you both a tiny bit of reassurance based on my experience x

Paranormalbouquet · 28/04/2018 18:45

@SoozC last time I just saw a big empty sac, it was the most horrible thing. Was so pleased this morning although I’m far from out of the woods. Bleeding has stopped for now but will probably happen again given the subchorionic bleeding. Taking aspirin which probably isn’t helping with bleeding.

@MsMGS I really hope all is well on your scan. I went on my own for private scan; and it was 45mins on tube, cried all the way there.

@Waggily welcome. It’s true that no pregnancy is ever easy again after a loss. Hopefully since it was chromosomal you won’t have the same thing happen again.

@iamloading thank you. The more I think about it I probably did ovulate a bit late. Hopefully anyway. I’ll be a bag of nerves until I get to the end either way.

iamloading · 28/04/2018 19:56

So much for my vague attempts at positivity. Sat in the delivery ward as have had a bleed. Only 22 weeks so very worrying

SoozC · 28/04/2018 20:35

Everything crossed all is okay, loading. Sorry you're going through this.

Paranormalbouquet · 28/04/2018 20:41

Oh loading I do hope all is ok, and that they find a reason for the bleeding.

Iswallowtoothpaste · 28/04/2018 21:05

Hope everything’s ok loading thinking of you x

iamloading · 28/04/2018 21:22

Had the joyful speculum and my cervix is closed which is the main thing. They can see blood but don't know where it's come from, so are discharging me and have told me to keep an eye on it. I just want a normal worry free pregnancy for once!!!
Thanks for all the positive thoughts x

Paranormalbouquet · 28/04/2018 21:24

That’s great news loading. Did they get a good look at your cervix? I had an ectropion in my only successful pregnancy which would bleed from time to time but was harmless.

iamloading · 28/04/2018 21:54

That's good to know @Paranormalbouquet Yep they had a good rummage up there (which hurt!!) but at least they were thorough I suppose!

Paranormalbouquet · 28/04/2018 22:09

Yes good they were thorough. It’s terrifying seeing blood isn’t it; with DD first bleed with ectropion was really dramatic, at 15 weeks. I had just finished a 35 hour shift on my feet. I drove home, exhausted and when I stepped out of the car to see the seat was soaked with blood. It was really dramatic, but was just down to too much activity. Happened again at 20 weeks after similar shift- managed to get my shifts capped at 13hours after that at least.

iamloading · 28/04/2018 22:15

Crikey - I'd have freaked if that had happened, you must have been in such a state. Mine wasn't that dramatic thankfully, and hopefully it won't be going forward!

keeponrunning85 · 28/04/2018 22:23

Oh gosh, what a stressful day it has been for some on the thread today.

I'm so pleased that despite the various bleeding incidents everything is seeming ok paranormal and iamloading. I hope things stay quiet for you both from now on.

I hope this isn't the end for you MsMGS.

Anxiousfeelings · 29/04/2018 08:23

I hope today is less stressful for everyone.

Paranormalbouquet · 29/04/2018 08:45

@iamloading yes it was terrifying. I’m just terrible at pregnancy I think- my only successful pregnancy was very complicated. And now recurrent losses. I do recall that obs were not concerned at all though once they’d seen the ectropion- just labelled it one of those things!

I did have the easiest baby in the world at the end of an awful pregnancy though. Breastfed well from beginning and slept 6 hours at night straight from 2 weeks, and 10 hours by 6 weeks. I always had to keep quiet at baby groups when people complained about lack of sleep!

Bleeding has stopped for now anyway. Still no real symptoms other than fatigue and very mild nausea coming and going.

Hope we all have an uneventful day!

NoCatsHere · 29/04/2018 10:19

So sorry to read all this news and worry from the last few days. I hope you all have an easier day today.
I’m panicking my symptoms have disappeared and my tummy isn’t as bloated. Looking into a scan for next week I think. I just need to know. My 12 week one is still 3 weeks away and I don’t think I can wait that long.

Paranormalbouquet · 29/04/2018 11:30

More spotting now. I know it’s to be expected with a haematoma but it’s still scaring me. Every day feels like a week.

Paranormalbouquet · 29/04/2018 11:32

@NoCatsHere I don’t think symptoms mean much. With DD I had very few symptoms in the first trimester; with my MMC I had severe nausea which persisted even after I knew baby had died. I would look into another scan though as it’s the only way of reassuring us.
