Thankyou @Flatwhite32! And congratulations to you too! Nearly half way there!
It's such a horrible feeling isn't it! You want to be able to enjoy it but it's so hard too!
Yes that's what I'm trying to do, set milestones for myself! So first one is to get to my early scan in a couple of weeks!
What will be will be I guess!
Good luck for your 20 weeks scan!

Eastend2015 · 24/02/2018 18:36

Hi all, unfortunately miscarried this afternoon. For fucks fucking sake!!! unicorns so glad things are progressing for you!!

LisaSimpsonsbff · 24/02/2018 19:05

Eastend I am so, so sorry. I hope you've got people to look after you in real life, but also feel free to talk here as much or as little as is useful. It's so unfair and awful that this has happened to you again. Will be thinking of you Flowers

yellowfrontdoor · 24/02/2018 19:45

@Eastend2015 I'm sorry to read your news. It's utterly unfair and total shit. I hope you are okay xx

BlueeSpottyTiger · 24/02/2018 21:12

Eastend I am so so sorry :( xx
juniper how scary! I ended up with p.e with dd, I was rushed around to an assessment unit and it was really panicky but luckly i didn't have to be induced until 3 days later for it.
My first signs were only slightly higher bp and swollen hands and feet a few weeks before it got worse. Make sure they keep an eye on you! I'm under increased surveillance for it this time, Starting on the 6th of March at 20+3.

I'm so nervous for my 20week scan on Thursday.. and i have to wait until 5pm! 😫

Flatwhite32 · 24/02/2018 23:45

Star88 · 25/02/2018 16:52

Hi guys can I join? I'm not pg yet! However it so lovely to hear that you guys are doing so well after your mc's!! Just wondering how long it took you guys? I think I'm being unrealistic to myself but it's so hard not to get your hopes up a little... x

Flatwhite32 · 25/02/2018 17:32

Welcome @Star88! I found out about my MMC on 23rd August last year at our 12 week scan, but our little bean had passed away 3 weeks earlier. I had an ERPC on August 25th. I then got my next BFP (currently 19 weeks tomorrow) around Nov 12th. I actually got pregnant more quickly after my MMC (cycle 3) than I did when I first started TTC. I was really surprised, as my cycles were erratic after the MMC, and I had lots of random spotting in between. Just goes to show what a minefield TTC is! The support on this thread is great. I'm regularly on it with various anxieties!

ladydolly · 25/02/2018 21:04

Hi star88 I had a mmc on 21 Oct. I had a d&c 3rd Nov. 1st period end of Nov. We didn't try that cycle, 2nd period 31 Dec. Bfp 22nd Jan. Was trying for 5 months before conceiving with my mc.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 25/02/2018 21:20

It took me 3 cycles before my pregnancy that ended in MMC at 10wks in May, then another 7 cycles before I got this BFP in December (I had basically given up and didn't expect it to work anymore so drank an entire bottle of Prosecco the night before I found out, which was also the due date of the baby I lost!)

kirinm · 25/02/2018 21:48

Scab tomorrow and I'm bricking it. Oddly not so much about the screening although that'll no doubt come. I'm just hoping there's still a heartbeat.

kirinm · 25/02/2018 21:48

Scan not scab!

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 25/02/2018 22:42

@Star88 Got BFP in May last year, had a mmc and found out the day before our 12 week scan (in July). Got 2nd BFP in October (so after two AFs), which ended in another mmc in November. There was a complete prolonged mess afterwards With tissue, so got my 1st AF in January. Then got BFP earlier this month, so technically after one cycle. Obviously we'll see what happens with this and I'm worried they'll find nothing on the scan, and that I'm making it up but there we go.

kirinm · 25/02/2018 22:46

@Star88 my last mmc was actually just over 4 years ago. I couldn't face trying again after so many losses. And then last year I'd decided we'd better hurry up as I'm nearly 40. We weren't officially trying but I got pregnant almost immediately. I am 12w5d and have spent the last few weeks mostly terrified. Unfortunately I don't think that's going to change.

Niketan · 26/02/2018 02:55

Hi @star88 I got my first positive last August, had an 8 week scan and saw a heartbeat. Then had some spotting at 11 weeks in October so went in for reassurance, a scan showed the baby had died just a few days after the first scan. Had a D&C. AF came back immediately and got my next BFP end of Jan. Spent the last few weeks swinging from wildly pessimistic to bag of nerves to what will be will be. This thread has been great and there is so much support and positive stories to share too. 8 week scan tomorrow. Terrified.

Niketan · 26/02/2018 02:59

@kirinm best of luck for the scan.

Star88 · 26/02/2018 06:58

Thank you guys for sharing all of your stories! I think our perseverance shows how strong we all are. Good luck those that have your impending scans. X

yellowfrontdoor · 26/02/2018 07:54

Had an extremely embarrassing wobble yesterday which culminated in me rushing up to the local birthing centre Blush they were very kind & I heard the heartbeat on a Doppler but I realised I need some help for my anxiety.

I feel like an idiot today though. Sad
