Thanks intelligent. Keeping occupied and keeping fingers crossed

Another gentle handhold snorebrown Flowers Thinking of you and hoping for reassuring news for you.

I was in a complete tailspin when I had my beigeish cm a couple of weeks ago and then got back ache which sent me doolally. At first I thought the back pain was in my head as it was such a known trigger from my past mcs, then it was definitely real and I was mentally detaching from the whole thing. And then all was actually fine, baby is healthy and growing and bobbing around. Which still seems incredibly unlikely! I hope the same is true for you xxx

Snorebrown · 31/03/2018 23:07

Thanks Anne :0)

keepinghopeful · 01/04/2018 09:01

How are you today @Snorebrown?

Snorebrown · 01/04/2018 09:29

Touch wood... ok. Thanks for asking :0)

BertieBotts · 01/04/2018 09:56

Just to say, I'm still getting period like back pain now at 19 weeks. It's really strange but not worrying any more as touch wood no bleeding. Though I did have a horrible dream the other night where I did!

Ladies, do symptoms come & go? I have been so nauseous all week & today its barely there, obvs freaking out that its another mmc 😕. Im 6+3 today.

NelleB · 01/04/2018 17:38

I'm 15 weeks pregnant tomorrow, we had a miscarriage in December and then I got pregnant without a period in the middle. I spent the first 8 weeks stressing out and now I've relaxed a little bit. I've worried myself reading another persons story. It's hard not to stress, I feel like I've made myself anxious now and worrying about counting kicks even though I'm not at that stage... trying to get myself down from my stress mountain

LisaSimpsonsbff · 01/04/2018 18:12

keepinghopeful I found that my nausea (which was always quite mild) completely came and went - I had mornings/afternoons/whole days of feeling fine which gradually got longer and then it went away completely at around 13 weeks. Mine didn't kick in until later anyway - around 8 weeks - but I've seen the question about fluctuating symptoms asked over and over on this forum, and it seems to be a really, really common experience - probably more common than the more unlucky experience of finding them relentless, in fact.

BertieBotts · 01/04/2018 18:15

Yes absolutely symptoms are all over the place especially in the first trimester.

nelle I think we all create stress mountains in the early days, I really can’t see myself relaxing until I’m at least 20 weeks. It seems impossible sometimes that I’ll ever make it that far (I’m only 6 weeks tomorrow). And yet I’ve made it to 6 weeks when lots don’t so why shouldn’t I keep going. I find when I get stressed I have to remind myself of how far I am already and that I am indeed pregnant today and it really does help a little. Sometimes I find the weekends drag and I have too much time to think things over whereas the week with work keeps my mind more distracted. I’m so looking forward to Tuesday to working when I can think about something else!!

MsJuniper · 01/04/2018 18:36

NelleB · 01/04/2018 19:50

Thanks @NoCatsHere I know what you mean about being off work. I'm off for 2 weeks now and I know I will end up reading all the problem pages and getting worse. My midwife appointment is next week she might be able to get me off worry mountain

intelligentPutty · 01/04/2018 19:59

@MsJuniper what a beautiful baby!
