Can someone direct me to the March thread please? Or shall we start a new one? I feel like the old one has completely disappeared into the depths of the mumsnet sea.

We're getting close now and wanted to see how everyone was as I'm due the 7th Smile

All the best to you all lovely pregnant ladies

Yeah defo a lot of hormones just cried cause u said u will all be there for me to. Got excited cause I went the toilet and had lost my mucus plug but know it can still be days. U really have all helped me though hard to believe strangers can be such a good support at times it amazes me how wonderful the average human being can be. Thank you all

Vickylou78 · 15/03/2018 14:16

@blinkinheckmum yay! Well you did it and you beat me to it! Sorry to hear that the birth didn’t go so well. Hopefully you won’t take too long to recover. Our bodies are amazing things. I hope your older two children are recovering from their colds? Not great timing is it.

My 3yr dd is still poorly but thankfully slept better last night so feel a bit more rested and this seems to mean the bh contractions aren’t quite so bad today.

@Gweatherwax yes this irritable uterus constant Braxton Hicks has been awful as sleep is difficult and my bump is so sore from all the contracting!

Vickylou78 · 15/03/2018 14:18

Congratulations @kelly14!

Vickylou78 · 15/03/2018 14:19

@twitchett22 so pleased you are having lovely time with your little one! Nice not being pregnant!

Vickylou78 · 15/03/2018 14:23

Glad you are feeling bit more positive @ragdolly81. Mucus plug - that may be a sign! Just tell the midwifes how you are feeling and I am pretty sure they will take it from there and make sure you are looked after!

Vickylou78 · 15/03/2018 14:25

@potteryprincess30 are you ok?

TheMrs04 · 15/03/2018 18:45

Congratulations to all the new arrivals!!
I'm Still hanging on in there for now 😶
My mother is convinced I'll go into labour tonight! (Wishful thinking)

Although I'm waddling and can't seem to bend over! My poor living room looks like a bomb has hit it with all of ds toys around! Hubby will have a fit when he gets home!! 🙈

@Potteryprincess30 where are you?? Quite a few of us are worried xx

Ragdolly81 · 15/03/2018 19:16

I am so calm now thanks to everyone for there kind words just sat here now waiting and hoping. Keep getting my braxton hicks nothing regular though. Crying at every little thing like my cat cause she wanted stroking lol. Still loads of pressure down below and feeling like I have a cold all of a sudden. My belly has also dropped loads more i noticed when I walked past the mirror and the woman in the shop who I see every day said i look like I have gone bigger over night. Keep getting my hopes up it will be tonight but trying to remain calm that it could be days yet. Hope everyone else is doing ok. Really do want to thank everyone for helping me calm down earlier though

blinkineckmum · 15/03/2018 21:22

I seem to remember a couple of inductions booked for today? Hope they went well x

Jjpeston · 15/03/2018 21:39

@Ragdolly81 Just wanted to say i'm also here for you. Having just given birth in the NHS I can also assure you that the midwives and all care and support staff I met were so attentive and caring, especially when/if you ask for a bit of extra support due to your circumstances. I also found they took on the atmosphere/air I was projecting, so I wanted to be really calm and quiet and focussed in the birth and they respected that. I dont know if that helps, but I hope so. Dont be afraid to ask for support. They will all help you. I hope things happen quickly, and stay positive! x

Ragdolly81 · 15/03/2018 21:52

Thanks I guess it was just a bit of a wobble as with my first i was living with my mum and dad so felt supported then with the last 2 I was with there dad and had him to bounce things off now I am all alone and its scary sitting here alone not knowing when or what will happen never thought I would be so scared when unhand had kids before feels like my first time all over again. My auntie has told her doctor to try and make her better soon I laughed cause she can be bossy poor man wouldn't of known what to say to her u can't rush getting better lol. I keep telling her I will be fine and haven't told her I am worried as I dont want her feeling bad. But I know u are all right and the midwives are great and very supportive guess its just nerves really.

blinkineckmum · 16/03/2018 07:09

Best of luck Ragdolly. You'll soon be out the other side! And to all the others waiting to go! I am being very well looked after at the maternity hospital and will go home today. Still no name for beautiful baby girl!

blinkineckmum · 16/03/2018 07:22

Kelly14 I don't thinkI've said congratulations yet! Baby boy sounds wonderful. Hope your recovery is going well. Hope all the new babies are doing well x

LoveRainbow02 · 16/03/2018 07:55

Congratulations to all the new mummies on the thread 👣😊.

I gave birth to my son on the 14th at 23:10 weighing 6lbs 5 and a half oz. Got home yesterday afternoon and have been enjoying all the newborn snuggles. Good luck to those who are approaching their due dates.

Vickylou78 · 16/03/2018 08:26

Ah congrats @loverainbow02! Lovely news!

blinkineckmum · 16/03/2018 08:28

Well done LoveRainbow! Hoe funny. We were also 23.50 on 14th! 7lb9oz here x

HazyDays81 · 16/03/2018 10:28

Congratulations LoveRainbow02! Lovely there’s more baby news.

I had twinges on Weds & yesterday & was uncomfortable so thought it may be the start. Today however I feel back to normal!

Ragdolly81 · 16/03/2018 10:42

Congratulations on the birth of your son. I am still waiting feel like all the signs have vanished today so I am quite disappointed was really hoping to be well on my way by now.

blinkineckmum · 16/03/2018 11:47

It's waiting for your aunty x

Ragdolly81 · 16/03/2018 11:50

Maybe she is got major cravings at the moment which I find odd. Never had any signs or anything with my other kids just contractions out of the blue so feel like this dismay first time all over again. Going the shops now to get pizza and pasties can't stop thinking of cheese lol

Crapbags · 16/03/2018 18:12

Congratulations @blinkineckmum and @loverainbow02 @Jjpeston and anyone else I’ve missed who have already had their lovely babies I am quite jealousWink

Like you @HazyDays81 and @ragdolly81 I’ve had a few days of really strong twinges that had me thinking maybe soon but today all gone....think this one will keep me waiting a bit longer....do you both know what you are having?

HazyDays81 · 16/03/2018 18:23

Hi crapbags it’s frustrating thinking something is happening & then it doesn’t isn’t it.

Yes we found out we’re having another boy! We have 2 boys already aged 7 & 4. They are getting really excited which is lovely. Do you know what you’re having?

I can’t believe there’s more snow forecast this weekend! Hope if anything does happen we’ll be ok getting to the hospital.

Ragdolly81 · 16/03/2018 18:32

I am having a girl just keep hoping this is the calm before the storm. Got some clary sage oil coming tomorrow so fingers crossed that works.

Crapbags · 16/03/2018 19:22

Ah your on no.3 too @hazydays81 I’m the same and having another DS too! I have one DD aged almost 7 and one DS aged 4 so same age gap too!! And yes they are excited which is so lovely my DD is just hoping he doesn’t arrive on her birthday as she does not want to share itGrin I’m actually not due till 25th but have been early both times before... but really got to stop assuming this one will be the same! What’s your due date?

I can’t believe that snow has been forecast again either thought I’d dodged going into labour in the snow! I’m planning a home birth so just hoping the midwives can make it to me!

You will have to let us know if the clary sage oil works @ragdolly81 I’ll have to get some if it does!

Ragdolly81 · 16/03/2018 19:51

I will keep u up dated I really hope it works but worried about getting the hospital if it does snow. Would love to go tomorrow before I get the older kids back off there dad on Sunday would just be easier. Can't stop eating today though just ordered a take away for myself and there is so much food lol normally I am plagued with loads of braxtons but only had about 3 today so making the most of it. But think I am losing my mind a bit as I just tried to make my room brighter as its dark by turning the volume on the TV up lol.
