Can someone direct me to the March thread please? Or shall we start a new one? I feel like the old one has completely disappeared into the depths of the mumsnet sea.

We're getting close now and wanted to see how everyone was as I'm due the 7th Smile

All the best to you all lovely pregnant ladies

It does sound promising but I am not getting my hopes up. Mine is worse in the evening to think its cause we are so active in the day it hits us of a night so annoying though as it gets u a bit excited that it could be starting lol

Oh I feel for you both! I’m full of cold too and all aching, makes the pregancy woes even worse doesn’t it!

Congratulations @bee91! And hugs for the ladies feeling ill and fed up. I am 40+1 today and just got back from the hospital after being concerned about reduced movements. All fine and they were great every step of the way and didn't in any way make me feel like I was wasting anyone's time. Made me ready to have him out though, because it is awful worrying about him in there.

Congratulations @bee91 how lovely:)

I’m having an anxious day today where I’m feeling really apprehensive about the birth....I’ve done it twice before so don’t know why I’m feeling this way really....hopefully it will pass.

Any news @Hazydays81 and @ragdolly81 ?

Report
Crapbags · 18/03/2018 18:46

@MrsL2016 it’s tough when you’ve been early before isn’t it? I’ve been early on both previous pregnancy’s so you feel ‘late’ as soon as your past the date at which you had the other(s) don’t you? I’m not at my due date yet but because I’d already had my first DD and then DS by now I feel like I’m late:(

No news don't feel as achy make but still got sore throat and just want to sleep none stop. Got my older kids now and the 5 year old is refusing it sleep and just being a grump tonight so I feel worn out. Every twinge I am is this it please be it lol. U wouldn't think I have had 3 kids already everything feels so new and like I am pregnant for the first time. I got quite bad anxiety myself last night about the birth I freaked out i am feeling better about it today though I think its natural doesn't matter how many times u do it to be a bit nervous about it all

HazyDays81 · 18/03/2018 20:05

Sorry to hear you’re feeling poorly RagDolly81 - hope you soon feel better.

Crapbags I’m much the same really, baby feels really low & lots of Braxton Hicks. I was convinced I’d be early this time even though I was late with both DS’s.

I was emotional yesterday crying over the most silly things. Also feeling nervous about labour. Was hoping it would happen this weekend but seems like baby is pretty comfy in there!

Sorry to hear you're feeling rubbish @Ragdolly81 and @Vickylou78 not what you need right now!

Congrats @bee91! :-)

Good to hear all is well with baby @MrsL2016, know what you mean about worrying about how they are when you can't see them.

Booked in for an induction Tuesday night @HazyDays81, I properly have The Fear now!! Got a bit excited with an hour of cramps yesterday evening but bugger all since.

Glad I’m not the only one feeling anxious and emotional @hazydays81 and @ragdolly81 have to keep reminding myself that in a maximum of 2kws this bit will be done and I will have my squidgy babySmile

Thinking positive thoughts for everyoneWink

It's certainly a nerve-wracking time @Crapbags! Baby is so active (reassuring) but there just isn't any room in there for the poor thing anymore. The wee feet and elbows poke out so far!

HazyDays81 · 18/03/2018 21:01

I felt like I had psyched myself up for it last week but now a few more days have passed I don’t feel that ready if that makes sense even though I’m closer to it. Like you say though crapbags this bit isn’t forever & soon we’ll be holding our babies Smile

Good luck for Tuesday GWeatherwax will be thinking of you. You never know it may happen before your induction!

Gosh I’m exactly the same @hazydays81 last week I feel like I’d got myself in the right headspace and was ready for it to happen but now feel like I’ve gone backwards too:(

@Gweatherwax exactly the same here just feels like there’s no more room in there!! Like you say when he wiggles about it almost feels like he’s going to burst out!

I keep worrying that he’s turning quite a bit and may come out back to back which I keep hearing makes for a more difficult labour...last time midwife felt him though she did say he was in a good position but he moves so much I can’t always tell what’s going on in there?!

Omg bad braxton hicks today every time I get one feel like is pushing the baby out but they are not regular or to the point I can't talk when having them so don't think its the real thing just yet. And my back is in bits today aswell. Anyone else had braxtons where it felt like they where pushing the baby out almost

Report
Vickylou78 · 19/03/2018 11:48

My Braxton Hicks are regular but no pain associated, but they feel like really very tight right across bump like baby being squashed and shrink wrapped. It is really uncomfortable when bladder is full. But wouldn’t say it feels like baby being pushed out

Report
Ragdolly81 · 19/03/2018 11:56

I have had braxton hicks since 22 weeks ago kind of for use to them but my god they have got worse. When I get one my whole stomach goes hard my back hurts I have to breath through them and I literally feeling like she is being out of me. But I don't think its the real thing as they are not as painful as I remember contractions being and not in a regular patten so trying not to bother the assessment unit plus if they say come in and then just send me home its a lot of messing I live 30-40 mins away from the hospital and don't drive. Its so annoying just wish they would go full blown now. I am sure we are all the same dying to meet are little ones now and be done with all the is this it or isn't it.

Report
HazyDays81 · 19/03/2018 13:13

My Braxton Hicks are more uncomfortable than painful. Like Vickylou78 said they make me need to go to the loo if they are really tight & make my bump go rock hard. Ragdolly81 could they be early contractions?

I saw my midwife this morning. She said baby is 3/5 engaged. I have an induction date of next Mon but hoping he’ll arrive before then!

Report
Ragdolly81 · 19/03/2018 13:33

I guess I will just keep walking about and hope I get some sign its either the real thing or just braxtons. Hopefully I get a sign its the real thing and in time to get to the hospital don't fancy having her at home only got my kids here with me and I am sure they don't want to see that haha. My 5 year swears that all I have to do is give a big caught and she climbs up my throat and out my mouth hahaha

I'm 40+1 today and had my 40 week midwife appointment this morning. If nothing happens in the next week I'm having a sweep next Monday. Getting bored at home but trying to make the most of it!

40+2 here and a few more tightenings, pelvic pressure and a bit of back ache. I hope everyone that currently feels in total labour limbo gets to meet their babies soon. Me included.

Ragdolly81 · 19/03/2018 15:59
