Hi there,

Does anyone feel like a chat?

Age: 34
TTC: 11 months
Due: July 2018

I had vivid dreams in the two week wait. Since BFP I've just had mildly sensitive boobs.

My colleague has just announced his wife is pregnant, they've just had their first scan, I can't help but feel he's stolen my thunder a little bit!

@LilyWhit thank you not really as long all is well but ive a strong feeling its a girl so ill soon see lol

@LilyWhit I believe the placenta is fixed, but in the same way as a mark on a stationary balloon that is being blown up is fixed - ie it will stay anterior, but as the womb gets bigger it will move slightly.

Am also feeling flutters, for a while I thought it might be wind but I'm pretty sure it's movement now! But it's not very strong or consistent, especially given sonographer said she's a very mobile baby.

We have a name but keeping it a state secret!

@LMX0 I've just had my 20 week scan and the same experience, have to go back next week as she wouldn't turn so they couldn't check her heart or face or one part of brain! She was moving lots, just not in the right direction! A little annoying as I was waiting to tell people, I feel like I have to tell people now anyway as I am quite obviously pregnant. Reassured about what they could check but can't wait to have reassurance on the rest also. Was pretty anxious beforehand, felt sick!

@LilyWhit good thanks 😊 i really felt baby move earlier which was a little strange but so nice!! And we have our gender scan #round2 so hopefully baby will play ball!! How are you and your little baba?

Isn’t it amazing! I’ve got an anterior placenta and hadn’t felt anything until Saturday and actually saw my belly move! Although movements arnt regular at the moment
But I guess I’ll learn more when I go for my next scan next weds...

@LilyWhit aww it really is amazing!! Wow u can see your tummy move already!!! Yes from our first scan it really has flew in thankfully i have a strong feeling it is a girl but everyone keeps saying no its a boy esp after the last scan (couldnt see anything apart from the cord) so im hoping a girl just to prove them wrong!!! But im just thankful for a baby 👶🏻

Yes it was a strange site the right side just moved up and down every time I felt the movement. Yes I know what you mean that’s why we thought sod it we won’t find out took us a bit of time to conceive so I’m

@LilyWhit its nice to have a surprise too!! Im due 29th July so im 18+2 (nearly half way yay!!) im going to try breastfeeding but not going to put any pressure on myself if it works it works how about you?

18+4 here and we are having a girl. Seems to be going by quickly now although I'm nervous for 20 week scan and to know everything is ok. Pretty sure I've been feeling movement for a few weeks then this weekend little kicks. A bit like a bubble popping or someone giving me a poke from inside. I really hope it's baby and not just wind!

Bit fed up with work now already. I'll be leaving in about 4 months but I'd happily go now. My immune system is shot to pieces so I pick up every bug going. Add to that all this snow and I just don't want to leave the house. Be great to hibernate until July!

@BuffalotheGruffalo i find im okay leading up to the appointments but on the day i am a bag of nerves whens your scan? My first sort of kicks were very like that! Like someone was poking me with the tip of your finger but eariler today baby was having a party felt like she was rolling around!! Aww poor you!! Hopefully the snow kills all the germs and you have get a break!!

Hey lovely ladies... not sure if anyone remembers me... but incredibly I have caught pregnant again! Haven't even had AF since the miscarriage in Jan!!!

Definitely baby kicking now, kicks so much I can see my belly moving and DH can feel it too. It's utterly fascinating!

I'm 19 +2 today. Have been feeling wriggles and flutters for a while but yesterday was the first time I saw a kick. It was a big kick too. Been trying to get another out of her today but she's not playing ball. DH had to stand for a few minutes, he was very patient but he he definitely got a kick as a reward. Was lovely.

@BuffalotheGruffalo awww how lovely i think it may be a while before i see a kick or hubby feels one as ive a bit extra padding your due 2 days ahead of me!! 💖
@Lphil93 im 19 weeks now 😊 been great so far (had a few bad days but nothing to moan about really) how have you been? Have you been to see anyone yet?

I'm doing well 16 weeks today. I had my 12 week scan on the 12th Feb and I was so nervous! Despite my worries they did find a baby in there! I didn't have the best day tho, as they said that I came back as high risk for DS 1/72 so my bubble kind of burst! I had more blood tests for the safe test. You usually get results within 5 working days of the bloods arriving. I was going to be out of the country so asked to be emailed with the results.. I didn't hear when expected and it did cause quite a lot of anxiety for the rest of my holiday! Long story short 2 weeks after my scan I was all excited again as they informed me I was low risk! So I've been feeling a bit up and down, but now very excited and happy! I've told my work and been merrily buying mat clothes and a cute pair of baby shoes I couldn't resist!
So excited to start feeling baby! It's so exciting that most of you have already felt them and found out their sex!
My 20 week scan is booked for the 5th April and we are planning to not to find out the sex(as long as we can remain strong!)

Fab news everyone! Glad it's all going well for everyone. Not seen anyone yet due to speak to my midwife tomorrow for first appointment. Feeling VERY anxious but like I keep being told the chances of it happening twice in a row is like 2% so feeling hopeful!!

@LMX0 no we hadn't bought much at all due to my anxiety (previous loss), but we bought a few bits at the weekend. I'm not a fan of pink and frilly, so we have gone for more Cath Kidston style prints (floral) and stripes. I love stripes!
