Does anyone feel like a chat?

TTC: 11 months
Due: July 2018

I had vivid dreams in the two week wait. Since BFP I've just had mildly sensitive boobs.

My colleague has just announced his wife is pregnant, they've just had their first scan, I can't help but feel he's stolen my thunder a little bit!

@LMX0 I've been ok so far. Barely any symptoms. Af like cramps keep coming and going which I think must be things stretching and I felt a bit sick this morning for the first time. Luckily it passed after I ate but I'm hoping it won't get worse (wishful thinking no doubt haha)

How have you been? How far along are you?

@Sals27 hopefully u dont get to much sickness im 12 weeks 2 days starting to feel normal again i wasnt really bad compared to some ladies so i always counted myself lucky

So I’m 14 weeks 5 days, how’s everyones skin? I’ve read this is the time where skin should be glowing! I’m the opposite break out of spots on back and chest and face... anyone else experiencing this?
Also had my flu jab yesterday and my arm is in bits can’t even lie on it 🙈

@LilyWhit I'm 19w 4d and had awful skin between weeks 15 and 16, all over my back and shoulders and horrible spots on my face. It's cleared up now though so fingers crossed you have the same outcome!

I finding ive a couple of weeks spotty then a week or two were im all cleared up but ive it only on my face atm

Have any of you lovelys got any advice for dealing with a cold while pregnant? I know we are very limited on what we can take... thanks in advance! Xxx

@Brettgirl poor you!!! I had it a few weeks ago it really floors you!! paracetamol and hot honey n lemon ice lollies and if u have a really bad cough (i did kept me awake and back and ribs hurt) go to your pharmacist they can give u cough med that may help (it is safe in pregnancy as there isnt much in it) and hope u get better soon 💕

Welcome and congratulations @sals27. @bretgirl, I had a cold a few weeks ago and just had paracetamol and hot ribena! Put a bit of Vicks on too.
My skin isn't the best anyway, but since being pregnant it seems to be fluctuating from normal bad acne on my face chest and back) to almost clear! Then back again! I haven't been able to use my usual acid skin wash so to be fair it's not as bad as I would have expected ! I've been feeling OK, again seems to fluctuate from nausea in both the morning and evening to nothing for a few days! I am also exhausted every day. I've been napping at work on my lunch break! It is literally the only way I get through the day! I went into town on my lunch yesterday and barely made it to the end of the day!! I'm 8+6 and looking forward to the 2nd trimester energy (please say it is true!). Is anyone else really bloated too? It's making it tricky to do my trousers up!

@Brettgirl, i had a bit of an onset of a cold that i fought with lots of hot water (sometimes mixed with honey and lemon), put a towel over your head and stand over a boiling pot for the steam to unclog your nose/throat and plenty of rest. If possible, have your husband sleep apart from you as well so he doesn't get sick right after you. Feel better soon!

@Noonaylor, with you on the bloating till this week. had just a distended tummy from abt wk9 coupled with airy belches, argh. I just hit Wk 13 today and the bloat seems to be going off (only to be replaced by a bump soon I wld expect so I haven't had that privilege of taking flat tummy photos at all haha).
Still, I am very thankful cos' that was pretty much my only uncomfortable symptom (& a bout of feeling nauseous in Wk10). My skin has been very bright and clear too (received a few compliments which almost never happens cos i usually get red and sensitive quite easily although i'm still cautious my teenage acne may rear its head) so hoping it stays that way!

Got my first scan appointment booked in for the 12th Feb. So excited! I was a bit worried as my husband and I are going on holiday for over a week between our 12-14weeks and I thought knowing my luck it would be then or they wouldn't be able to fit me in! I hope the next few weeks whizz. I can't wait to see the baby! Really hope everything is fine! X

My tiredness went around week 11.. it’s awful isn’t it I’m 15 weeks tomorrow and feeling great! Apart from the spotty skin!

Well if the nub is pointing horizontal it’s meant to be a girl if the nub is at an angle it’s a boy! Old wives tail just wondered if anyone had heard the same? I can’t stop stairing at my scan pic now! I’m not going to find out the gender but intreagued to see if the nub theory is true 😃 xx

I have my first official scan tomorow (though I had one at 10w4d because of some bleeding). The scan at 10w showed a heartbeat so I'm keeping fingers crossed for tomorrow.

I'm almost 13w now and thought the nausea/generally feeling rubbish was passing - I had a few days where I actually felt human and wanted to eat! But alas, the sickness came back with avengence last night.

Thank you to everyone for all of the cold advice . I have a feeling that this is actually flu, I feel like I have been run over!
@lmxo at about week 6 or 7 I was weeing every half hour especially in the evening. It settled down a bit but this week it's come back! Especially bad at night time xx
