Hi there,

Does anyone feel like a chat?

Age: 34
TTC: 11 months
Due: July 2018

I had vivid dreams in the two week wait. Since BFP I've just had mildly sensitive boobs.

My colleague has just announced his wife is pregnant, they've just had their first scan, I can't help but feel he's stolen my thunder a little bit!

@flatwhite32 I'm 9+3. I spoke to a midwife and she said I've just got to wait and see what happens really. It's scary xx

Don't let them fob you off @Brettgirl. When this happened to me a few weeks ago, my midwife just said 'try to be positive' (NOT helpful!) and the EPU wouldn't see me as it wasn't severe enough (I also had a MMC a few months ago so was beside myself, but this didn't persuade them either!). Anyway, mine got a little worse, so I rang my lovely GP in a panic and she managed to get me an appointment at the EPU for the next day. It's amazing how much quicker they will act if a doctor is involved! If it doesn't improve, give your doctor a ring first thing tomorrow.

@flatwhite32, thank you, just typical it's over the bank holiday and there isn't much going on. She told me to use a pad and monitor it, and in over an hour there has been nothing on it, and normal wiping there is nothing, just if I push a bit harder, sorry for tmi xx

@Brettgirl any news? I had some whiteypink discharge this afternoon, scared the hell out of me so rang 111 who told me to go A&E. Just got home and feel drained/relieved but still so scared. Apparently I have a urine infection and have prescribed amoxicillin. I hope you're ok!

I've had a pad on all day and it's totally clean, when I wipe normally there is nothing, if I press harder there's a pinky brown splodge, but not as much as there was. I don't know whether to try the drs first tomorrow or just try and get a private scan, I just want to see inside xxx

@LMX0 I'm feeling better today, although I think because I rested so much yesterday. I felt v nauseous brushing my teeth this morning, it made me gag but on an empty stomach wasn't sick. Still feels if was sick might feel better. Still feel very tired and have cold symptoms. Am back to work tomorrow and dreading it. Going to try and hold out telling anyone at work for a while. How are you feeling?

@Brettgirl im sure no more sign of anything is a good sign or you could have an infection?

Hello, I’m 36 first time pregnancy about 6 weeks. Super excited as TTC for nearly 6 years. We have got pregnant through 2nd cycle of IVF. Can’t quite believe it but couldn’t be more pleased.

I had a lot of bleeding before taking my test so it’s made me a little nervous. But since then I’ve had very sore boobs and a little abdominal pain. I took three tests so I know it’s definite but it feels weird waiting as I don’t feel much different. I have a scan next week which I can’t wait for, I know everything will be brilliant buts it’s scary. I haven’t really felt any sickness not sure when that kicks in...

@Hekatie welcome and a massive congrats!!!! I dont think anyone is ever ready for the mad rollercoaster that is pregnancy!!! But it is 10000% worth it 😊
