Hi there,

Does anyone feel like a chat?

Age: 34
TTC: 11 months
Due: July 2018

I had vivid dreams in the two week wait. Since BFP I've just had mildly sensitive boobs.

My colleague has just announced his wife is pregnant, they've just had their first scan, I can't help but feel he's stolen my thunder a little bit!

Just remembered as well ladies apparently if your more sick in the morning its a boy & more sick in the evening its a girl 😂

Brettgirl when I think about it I feel really sad. I spent the day with DH's friends, they have a toddler and a baby. Seeing DH holding the baby and holding it myself just made me wonder if I'll ever have one of my own. I mean I'm not at 100% panic stations yet because there isn't much and it's pink not bright red but would rather be without it. Got an appt with epu on wed so fingers crossed xxx

Hope Wednesday arrives soon for u and u get the all-clear!! My best friend has been telling me to not read things online cos mostly that starts the worry. So as much as online gives u a lot of info, sometimes it can trigger off more worry.

I've been quite curious abt gender recently too and been reading on the old wives tales! I'm pretty much still 50-50 on all the gender signs tho, haha. I feel bad but I do have a gender preference at this point but I'm trying to avoid thinking abt it too much, just in case the bub (whom I call Puppy) feels hurt.

I have woken at this awful hour with a dreadful head cold ive never had one like it which has been brewing from wed!!! 😢 really unsure what i can take as good as the internet is very mixed

Thank @LMX0 I double checked this morning and clear blue will not be used ever again! First response confirmed again. Flashed up in bright lines so this time partner cannot deny he can't see anything! Phew 😁

@LMX0 I also had a cold just before Christmas, I asked the pharmacist and he said paracetamol but if can avoid it then nothing.

@LMX0 I had an awful cold a few weeks ago. My GP rang me (about a issue related to the pregnancy, not the cold!) and while I was on the phone I asked her what I could take for it. She said paracetamol only, and lots of hot drinks!

Morning all, does anybody have any recommendations on moisturiser? I am using coconut oil at the moment and have done for a while, but having lost 8 stone my skin is a stretched and sagging. Now I'm pregnant I really want to take care of my skin so I it doesn't get any worse. Recommendations please! Also anybody else noticed hair growing like crazy? My hair seems to have grown 2" since I started taking folic acid 3+ months ago = one happy lady Grin thank you!

@misshannah coconut oil is supposed to be very good, ive started using a stretch mark moisturiser for mums to be by palmers it has a beautiful coco butter smell i got the tub which is the butter and it is hard or there is a bottle with a pump on the top

@LMX0 I've woken up exactly them same. Been in and out of bed sleeping, but feel like I've got a cold. I have sinus pressure which is making my teeth hurt 😩 I feel really hot too. Poor hubby what a fun New Year's Eve for him 😀

Everything crossed for you @peachesarenom . Saw your other thread and I'm sure you've derived some comfort from the responses - similarly I have two friends who bled during pregnancy but their babies were fine - but that said I can imagine this is super-stressful for you. Thinking of you xxx
