Hi there,

Does anyone feel like a chat?

Age: 34
TTC: 11 months
Due: July 2018

I had vivid dreams in the two week wait. Since BFP I've just had mildly sensitive boobs.

My colleague has just announced his wife is pregnant, they've just had their first scan, I can't help but feel he's stolen my thunder a little bit!

@Lphil93 could be bloat? I found from around 6-8 weeks my trousers were a little tighter altho depends on your body shape & size i had a friend who showed from 5 weeks
@peachesarenom aww try not to worry ive also read that discharge is very common and the colour can be just to do with hormone changes but i still hope everything goes well on wed Thanks

Abb7 · 30/12/2017 10:23

Hi all,
I'm around 8 weeks pregnant and this is my first pregnancy so have no idea what I'm doing.
Does anyone have any idea about scans and dates please?
Or any advice?
TIA

Lphil93 · 30/12/2017 10:26

Hi @Abb7 I paid for an early scan at 7 weeks... my next is at 12 weeks now when the midwife arranges it. How're you feeling? 🤬

Lphil93 · 30/12/2017 10:27

Meant 😃

LMX0 · 30/12/2017 10:37

It is deffo but i can be fun to keep track and guess are any of you planning on finding out if you can? I dint really mind either (altho ive always thought my first would be a girl but as long as he/she is healthy)

LMX0 · 30/12/2017 10:38

@Abb7 welcome & congrats 😊

Lphil93 · 30/12/2017 10:39

@LMX0 I'm definitely gonna find out but me and my partner aren't going to tell anyone else 🙊 leave them guessing!!

Flatwhite32 · 30/12/2017 10:45

@peachesarenom I had pink and brown a few weeks ago, and not just when wiping. Cue massive panic stations, but all ok in the end. I won't tell you not to worry though, as it's hard not to!

misshannah · 30/12/2017 11:31

Hi all, a bit confused. I tested two weeks ago on the Sunday as positive using sainsburys test. Period due on that Sunday and no sign). I tested again on the Monday using clear blue and Asda and a cheap one, again all came out as positive.

Today I just thought I would double check, I've loads of pregnancy symptoms, my boobs are killing me, cravings, mood swings, etc. I used a clear blue one, but the one with weeks pregnant. Admittedly it was my 2nd wee of the day and I hadn't long wee'd before (1hour after but was bursting!) but I came out as not pregnant. Could I have had a chemical pregnancy or did I wee too early? I've had no sign of period, I'm just worried now I case I've got all excited for nothing.

misshannah · 30/12/2017 11:32

All tested using first response on the Monday!

Abb7 · 30/12/2017 12:23

Ok brilliant I may look into doing the same.
I'm ok thank you, feeling extra tired but that's about it. How about you?

Abb7 · 30/12/2017 12:24

Thank you

Lphil93 · 30/12/2017 12:27

@Abb7 it was worth every penny. You can't see much of the "baby" but I could hear a strong heartbeat and having the doctor say everything was fine was enough for me to keep me going until 12 weeks now :)

I'm okay, awful morning sickness but other than that I'm enjoying every second!!

MrsKrantz · 30/12/2017 14:15

Anyone else feeling bleurgh? I have nausea every day but haven't been sick. I also have the cold and I'm fed up of feeling rubbish and at times wish I could be sick to get rid of this sicky feeling :(

I'm 9+4, had a scan at 9 weeks which measured me at 8+3. I can't look forward to anything, I'm out tonight for dinner and the thought makes me feel ill. Sorry I just feel like a moan!!!

ladybirdno1 · 30/12/2017 14:29

@MrsKrantz so does that mean that's changed your due date? Yes I feel exactly the same, temperature, feel like I've got a cold as quite snotty, constantly tired, heart burn, nauseous but not being sick. It makes me feel like if I was just sick I'd feel better

MrsKrantz · 30/12/2017 14:42

Yes @ladybirdno1 from 27/07 to 31/07. Original date was based on LMP but I ovulate day 17/18 so was expecting it to change.

I feel like being sick would make me feel better but I'm probably lucky that I'm not throwing up. I'm wallowing in self pity, the house is full of treats and I don't want any!

Hope we feel better soon!

Flatwhite32 · 30/12/2017 15:18

I feel sick and had my head down the toilet this morning, but having lost my last pregnancy at 12 weeks (although baby fell asleep at 9) I love having symptoms! I am lucky the sickness is manageable though. The most I've vomited in a day is twice.

Voyley · 30/12/2017 16:42

Hi everyone, congratulations on the BFP’s, expectant dad here (never thought I would write those words) and so very excited.

We found out we were pregnant on Christmas Day and currently, clearly unable, to tell friends and family. It’s going to be our first baby and we would like to check if anyone is aware of there being a secret August baby forum on facebook. A link would be very much appreciated.

The mommy to be is doing so well, eating healthy and were both reading up on what to expect. A forum/group at this stage would be a huge help while we wait for the big 12 week scan.

Many thanks

Gareth

Lphil93 · 30/12/2017 17:36

@Voyley there is one I have just joined called Babies due July & August 2018 :)

All the best!

Voyley · 30/12/2017 17:52

Thanks for the comment that’s Great, is it a secret group? If so have you got a link you could share?

Lphil93 · 30/12/2017 18:15

It is a secret group but I joined it on the app so no link. Just search for it @Voyley ☺️

Voyley · 30/12/2017 19:26

Ok brilliant thanks will do

Brettgirl · 30/12/2017 20:57

@peachesarenom how are you feeling? I've been thinking of you xx

LMX0 · 30/12/2017 21:03

@Lphil93 i couldnt hold it i know i couldnt lol
@misshannah please step away from the pregnancy tests as you are tormenting yourself unfortunately we dont know the answer but act as you are preggers because until your body tells you or you have a scan that says otherwise you are more likely to get a false neg rather than a false pos i know thats not much help but may be a little
