Hi there,

Does anyone feel like a chat?

Age: 34
TTC: 11 months
Due: July 2018

I had vivid dreams in the two week wait. Since BFP I've just had mildly sensitive boobs.

My colleague has just announced his wife is pregnant, they've just had their first scan, I can't help but feel he's stolen my thunder a little bit!

@buffalothegruffalo yes, I think you're right. I just imagine getting there and getting told I've missed the window for all the key tests!
@Ha1234 I had mine last week and agree with buffalo, it's not really necessary for him to be there. It helps if you know whether his family has a history of any blood diseases but that's about it.

I have a dating scan next Saturday as I have no idea how pregnant I am... I’m so nervous. I’m scared I’m wrong and I’m not pregnant abd they’ll think I’m an idiot 😂

@Pinkpanther10 Yes you must definitely get this changed. I was given my 12 week scan slot too early, and didn't want to complain as I was grateful I got in before Christmas and the NHS is overburdened etc etc, but wise Mumsnet told me to go back and raise the fact that the diagnostic tests wouldn't work on that date. My midwife immediately got it changed, I was delighted.

How are others getting on with food? I'm really struggling. All I want is stodgy, not very healthy food and I'm struggling with that to be honest. The only exception being a bit of fruit, particularly apples but not with the peel on, and satsumas but I'm worrying now that my diet is all wrong. Generally I love healthy food but at the moment moment thinking about a lot of it is making me feel really queasy. I'm sure all the stodgy stuff is causing my heartburn and not the baby!

@BuffalotheGruffalo I'm the same! Normally I cook nearly everything from scratch and eat healthily, but all I want is salty food. The thought of Christmas dinner is making me feel sick! Are you being sick at all?

@flatwhite32 I've been sick once and have had a fair bit of heaving so not too bad. I've been taking it really easy and I find as long as I can have regular sit down and don't rush about that I can keep it at bay. DH and I were discussing who is doing what veg for christmas dinner and he got narky at me for saying I don't really mind just because even talking about it was making me feel yuk. Actually one of the first sicky turns I had after finding out I was pregnant was trying to eat a little pig in a blanket. Sausages are waaaaay down on my favourite things at the momemt yet they are one of my favourite foods.

@BuffalotheGruffalo food is erm...... very hit and miss nearly changes by the hour one min im fine next its turning me making me ill im finding it bery hard to est anything healthy so atm im just focusing on eating lol

I found out I’m pregnant yesterday 🙂 after 6 months of trying ! I’m due at the end of August ! Not told anybody yet feels good to actually let it out haha x

Here’s my gorgeous jellybean! Thought we were 12 weeks based on first date of last period but actually 9+1 - 9+2 today! Due 26th July 2018. After 1.5 years trying and three chemical pregnancies, I’m so happy!
