I had vivid dreams in the two week wait. Since BFP I've just had mildly sensitive boobs.

My colleague has just announced his wife is pregnant, they've just had their first scan, I can't help but feel he's stolen my thunder a little bit!

Hi everyone

I'm 23 and currently 13+3 due 20th June. I had my 12 week scan yesterday (thinking I was about 12+1), it's suddenly all very real now.

I wasn't planning on having kids for a few years still, luckily have a supportive boyfriend that I want to spend the rest of my life with, who is also very happy about the baby, even though unplanned.

For those of you not feeling so well, I have to say it does get better. For the past 2 weeks I have been feeling much better and much more like myself again. The un-medicated cold wasn't so fun though - really missed my cold medicine.

Hi ladies! Hope it’s ok to jump in on the thread! I’m 26 and 8+4 so due the end of July!
I’ve had some nausea that lasts throughout the day but no actual sickness! Hoping that’s not a bad sign!
I can relate to the anxious feeling some of you have said! Counting down the days until my 12 week scan where I will hopefully see a healthy baby! Although I’m sure I’ll then find something else to worry about haha!
Had a scan at 6+6 and saw a lovely heart beat which was absolutely amazing!
It’s fab reading others messages who are around the same stage as me!

@Gem173 @Mothermnd lovely to see some other 'young' mums here. I am so nervous to tell the in-laws, they are 'babies are for married people in their 30's' kind of people! I am neither!

@peterpanwendy same here!! Although I said to everyone that our plans are to get engaged and have a kid. Got engaged start of October so plans going accordingly :) my partners oh will be much more pleased than my family. It’s just the way it is.

@Gem173 ours was to buy a house then have a baby so they should expect it after we moved in in July! At least you have one side that are supportive. Congrats on your engagement and BFP, such a good year for you!

Yes it has been :) we currently rent so buying a house is not on the agenda as of yet x congrats on your new home!

We move from a house (rented) to our narrowboat next week (christmas eve) because yes, we're mad. Slightly scary as we have gutted it and only have heating on board, no electricity, water, walls, etc. I suppose we have 9 months so sort that out!

I have M.E./ CFS and had surgery for a gastric sleeve 4 years ago, so I'm a bit nervous about the pregnancy and beyond especially as my job is very demanding.

Forgot to say I'm due 28th August. So a lovely birthday present for me

I had my bfp this morning

Think my period was due today but as is my first full cycle off the pill I am not perfectly sure. Line was pretty clear though so might have been due earlier.

This will be my first and due date would be 23rd August by my calculations.

Spent the day feeling weird.... like I should be massively over excited but it has happened so quickly I am reluctant to get too excited yet!!!

Can't tell anyone yet so mumsnet it is!

Christmas and new year with family and friends without them guessing is going to be tricky.... anyone got any ideas?!

@Brettgirl glad I'm not the only one. I already suffer with fatigue due to the m.e\ CFS so am really hoping I don't spiral any further! Have they recommended any special vitamin supplements for you? I am prescribed strong vitamin b but otherwise a multivitamin and folic acid. Hope you're feeling a bit more energised! X

I just found out I'm pregnant with my first. According to my last period, I'm due on August 25th. I got a 2-3 on CB digital on Friday. Very excited, but trying to be cautious at this stage.

I'm normally a keen wine drinker, so I'm worried that family will guess, too!

@misshannah I urgently needed to get on 5mg of folic acid because of malabsorption from the bypass, don't know if you have the same risk with a sleeve? The midwife rang me on Friday and said I'm very anaemic and low on vitamin D too, so having a whack of vitamins lol . I'm beyond exhausted! Xxx

I’m so nervous, really don’t want af to show up in the next two days. Tested again and got more positives which look darker than this morning so fx

Congrats all the newbies!!! Wow its scary we are now seeing end of August babies!!! I am 8 weeks today and feeling awful!!! Sickness please go away food is not my friend atm!! I am also a young mum (im 23)

I got a recipe for non-alcoholic mulled wine from slimmingworld. 1/2 a small bottle of cherry squash, 2 sachets/teabags of mulled wine spices from Schwartz and slices oranges. Oh and water! Nomnomnom!

@LMX0 I have a really nasty cold. Just glad I had my flu jab or I'd really be panicking! How are you getting on?
