I hope everyone suffering from the Horrors of Hyperemesis will find this thread useful as a source of support and information.
There's no TMI on here - can't be by definition - and nobody should feel ashamed of moaning as much as they feel the need to.

MOH's wonderful website is full of useful information on this illness:
sites.google.com/site/pregnancysicknesssos
Another invaluable website is:
www.pregnancysicknesssupport.org.uk

If you need help in obtaining medication, this phone number is great: 024 7638 2020

Lastly, the NICE guidelines on treatment are useful:
cks.nice.org.uk/nauseavomiting-in-pregnancy#!scenario

I would like to thank everyone who has given such invaluable support and advice on this and on previous threads.

Remember when you are at your worst, 'This Too Shall Pass'. It really will.

So many women on this thread have thought they couldn't get through this, but they did.

beanhunter I am glad you are getting treatment. I hope it makes you feel halfway human!
weasledee The waiting must be awful - it was awful enough after an amnio. I do feel for you. Cyber hugs.
pippasnippa I am glad the tonsilitis has gone.
BluesYou I don't know the situation about work and hospital discharge letters- it doens't seem right you are being passed from one person to another. As others say, surely there has to be a copy about?
HaichM I hope it is a sign that things are on the move!
Great advice from Daffodil and everyone.
Sausage I managed to forget to say welcome back. I saw your post; sorry things are still not good.
Watch me cross post.

@Daffodil397 I also got a massive watermelon but then freaked as read on Internet that you're suppose to wash them due to risk of toxoplasmosis. I wash everything else, don't know why I didn't wash this one

weasledee · 21/07/2017 14:30

Not good news ladies, measurements still high and baby has fluid everywhere :(
Cvs next week but I know I my heart the little baby isn't going to make it :(
Doctor thinks I could miscarry before the CVS......
And cruelly, I'm still sick..... :(

beanhunter · 21/07/2017 14:50

Oh weasledee. I have no words. Just thinking of you xxx

1984FS · 21/07/2017 15:07

@weasledee Very sad to read your update. Thinking of you x

YoureNotASausage · 21/07/2017 15:12

Wreasledee, terrible news. And I'm so sorry you have to wait like this, it seems quite unfair to make you wait a week.

Natsku · 21/07/2017 15:35

I'm so so sorry weasledee I don't know what to say, just that I'm so sad for you.

thingymaboob · 21/07/2017 15:54

@weasledee
I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. I hope you get some answers from the cvs.

BlueIsYou · 21/07/2017 16:08

weasledee My goodness, I'm so so very sorry.

What could it mean? I thought extra fluid meant an abnormality like Down syndrome. That's probably a ridiculous comment, sorry if it's hurtful to even type out Sad

Please please please rest well and look after yourself Flowers

pippanippa · 21/07/2017 16:12

Oh weasledee I am sorry, I hope you are ok (as ok as possible that is) whilst waiting for the CVS and have good support around you. Just so so sorry that it wasn't good news today for you x

BlueIsYou · 21/07/2017 16:50

No where near as awful as weasle's situation but DH has just lost his job.

We can't even pay the rent now. I want to laugh in hysterics at it all, I can't bloody believe this.

That's it, even if I'm on deaths door, I can take 0 days more from work off sick.

Why does life kick you when you're down sometimes? Sad

thingymaboob · 21/07/2017 17:06

@BlueIsYou oh my god! Sorry that DH has lost his job. Was it a surprise?

Daffodil397 · 21/07/2017 17:07

I'm so sorry to hear this news weasel I also don't exactly know what it means and it sounds like you don't have all the answers yet if they are scheduling a cvs but what anxious and horrible time for you and the family. I hope you can rest and be looked after for the next few days while you are waiting for more news. FlowersFlowersFlowers

BlueIsYou · 21/07/2017 17:08

thingy It's a huge shock Flowers

Daffodil397 · 21/07/2017 17:22

blue what a shock, seems so sudden? No notice period or anything?
Thinking of you. Can you guys get some help for this months rent and dh get something lined up for next month?
It's tough but I'm worried about the impact on you, the dr has recommended more rest for you and little blue. I hope there is a way for you guys to manage so you can stay on sick pay for a little while longer Flowers xxx
Me and dh are going to have to try and crunch some numbers together at the weekend (again) Hg when pg and childcare after make a big hole in finances Sad There will be a way through this for you I know Gin (virtual tipple as we can't drink the real stuff yet!) Xxx

BlueIsYou · 21/07/2017 17:30

Daffodil Thank you, sorry to hear you're struggling Flowers

DH is getting paid up until the end of this month. After that's it's 0. Regardless if I go back to work on Monday, my pay for this month and the next is going to be half my usual salary, of which doesn't even cover the rent, let alone anything else.

I'm not 100% but I'm sure he can claim Job Seekers now? Scary thought. Many of us get down on our luck at some point in life, it's just finding a way to push through.

We really don't want to tell landlord we can't pay in time... This is a fab house and he is a secure landlord if you pay him. We don't want to ask for leeway, for him to remember we have in 6 months and say he wants us out etc Sad

Sorry, not sure why I think it's acceptable to rant about this on my HG sickness forum Blush

Lemondrop99 · 21/07/2017 18:18

Oh Weasle Sad I don't know what to say, except that I'm thinking of you.

Sorry to hear your news too Blue. How stressful for you.

Haich, you sound like you're having an uncomfortable time. Hopefully the move goes as smoothly as I can.

What a sad thread today Sad Makes my vomity afternoon seem very minor in comparison.

TwoDrifters · 21/07/2017 18:20

weasledee I'm so so sorry. I hope you have a strong support network around you at the moment. Flowers

And BlueIsYou I hope you and your DH can work something out. In the meantime, hard though it is, rest as much as you can and try not to stress too much. Easier said than done, I know. Flowers

LucindaE · 21/07/2017 19:05

weasledee I am so sorry. That is awful for you. I wish there was something that I could do. As others say, I do hope you are getting support. Flowers

BluesYou Was he on a short term contract? Hopefully he'll find something else soon. This is the sort of stress you don't need.

OP posts:
BlueIsYou · 21/07/2017 20:28

TwoDrifters Doesn't look like I can rest, practically, I need to work Flowers

Lucinda It was a probation period of 6 months and he didn't pass Sad

Mustang27 · 21/07/2017 20:58

Weaseldee I can't even imagine how you feel. Such shit news and you are right made all the more cruel as you are still suffering SadFlowers.

Blue that's awful news can't believe you have been dealt such a crappy hand. I absolutely hate those 6 months probations as I'm pretty sure it's some companies idea of cheap labour. If they keep you on then they have to give you a pay rise, pay sick pay or invest in you with extra training and stuff. I do think if you are t up to scratch or whatever it is before the 6 months they should have the decency to come to you and discuss the issues so you can do something about it. Could it be that they knew he would have to go on paternity soon and didn't want to deal with that?

beanhunter · 21/07/2017 21:17

Just to attempt some positivity I feel so much better after the fluids. I even ate a bit (sure it won't stay down but at least it was a start).

BlueIsYou · 21/07/2017 21:28

Mustang Perhaps, they 100% know he was a DS on the way!

bean that's such good news Flowers Hope it stays positive for you and sending you lots of keep-down-able foods and drink 🍹

Natsku · 21/07/2017 21:32

Oh no blue that's terrible, fuck those probation periods (I got fired at the end of a probation period once, because I had the audacity to get swine flu and need two weeks off) - I don't know how benefits work in the UK but is there some help you can get with the rent in time before its due?

That's good bean fluids really do make a big difference when you're badly dehydrated. Hope the move goes smoothly.

Mustang27 · 21/07/2017 21:35

Glad you feel a bit better Bean, fluids are great but I found the relief was short lived hopefully you get longer lasting results!!!
