Only 30 weeks today... but...

Sore back. Tired after doing Christmas. Grumpy as hell.

I'm staying in bed, it's been decided.
Anyone else want to join me for a duvet day, fake wine and treats? Grin

I'm so glad there's others who don't like being pregnant, I'm not alone yay!!! Im almost 31 weeks and I can't wait to have this baby. Finally having a girl after 4ds.

I seem to blow up at everything and then cry like a baby. Never had symptoms like these before all my other pregnancies have been easy compared to this emotional rollercoaster. Never had sickness, nausea, trouble walking/sitting/lying down. Never cried or got angry over something trivial...this pregnant is mental. I feel like I'm going crazy and just want to lash out at everything and everyone. My poor children and husband have got to put up with a few more weeks of this deranged, emotionally unsettled pregnant whale yet... may the Almighty give them the strength to cope

My DH is being pretty awesome too, looking forward to our first babies free weekend away in spring / summer when can hopefully treat him. I felt like I was so good at pregnancy first time around! Eating properly, remembering without using an app how many weeks I was from due date.

JustHavinABreak · 28/12/2016 16:55

Feeling the (literal) pain. I'm 37 + 3 wks. HG since the beginning with no let up. Spending 3 days out of every week in hospital. Can hardly eat, drink or walk. Hugely grateful to have been home for Christmas but now I just want this baby out Blush

Imavinoops · 28/12/2016 21:41

Just I hope you don't have much longer to wait, sounds like you're having a really rough time!

I'm glad everyone's partners and husbands are doing their jobs well! We spent the day with DP'S Grandparents, it was a lovely day but I am full on wiped out now. Lazing on the sofa because I can't be bothered to stand up and walk ALL THE WAY up the stairs!! Grin

I had a massive tantrum today because it's too hard to clip the car seat onto the newly fitted isofix base. DH had been outside faffing with it and making sure it was spot on for about 2 hours in the cold and he proudly tried to show me how it all worked and I cried and told him it could all fuck off because it was too hard BlushGrin

I have sciatica and haven't slept properly for about 10 weeks and can't get comfy anywhere. I want ibruprofen gel, a bottle glass of white wine and some serious painkillers, and obviously can't have any of them. 4 weeks to go.....

Picklingaround79 · 28/12/2016 21:49

Thanks ladies. 32 weeks and miserable and NOTHING has made me laugh all day. But hearing about the prospect of losing the ability to wipe my bum and getting DH to do it for me just raised a mighty chuckle Smile

daisygirlmac · 28/12/2016 21:53

Pickling I can't get off my toilet without a gigantic effort Grin I'm no longer allowed to lock the door just in case I get stuck!! I have to say though, having never even considered them before moist toilet tissue wipes are the very thing when you can't reach properly

Imavinoops · 28/12/2016 21:58

Daisy Oh God, you could get those potty training wet wipes (can't remember their name) They would make life easier of that was a pregnancy struggle!
Or maybe one of those sticks with the grabby thing on the end to pick stuff up with. Grin

DP: "What did you buy that for again?" Grin

A stick Grin I'm not at that stage yet but I promise to report back for your amusement if I get there! Bloody stupid low toilets Hmm

daisygirlmac · 28/12/2016 22:04

I've already done the Morrisons shop of shame for all the maternity pads and the Tena lady pants and the anusol

Picklingaround79 · 28/12/2016 22:17

My daughter is potty training at the moment and I have quite seriously considered using the top piece of her potty as a bedpan, I am so very sick of umpteen toilet trips per night!

Potty training wet wipes a great idea for a couple of weeks time- thanks!

Pointlesscrap · 29/12/2016 01:22

I'm just about reaching and cleaning...thank the lord for these small mercies. I'm so tired though and fed up only another 9weeks to go 😭 Just want my baby in my arms and want my body back. Want to be able to roll around in bed and reposition myself without having to do 20 different manoeuvres to get comfortable...sorry for the rant I've just had enough now Sad

Imavinoops · 29/12/2016 08:12

daisy Me too, that was a joyous shop!

Pointless That's what the thread if for -and for discussing toilet wiping techniques..?!- rant away! Wink

It's officially cleaning day in our house today we think, the mess from Christmas got to us and the household fell apart in a day! Not looking forward to all the activity tbh, currently sat in bed on the laptop ignoring the fact that it's getting lighter outside. Grin

I can reach and wipe fine thank goodness because I need the loo about 500 times a day. I'm still coughing up a storm and sometimes it's making me vomit now too, and I think it might be the heartburn/indigestion causing a lot of it :(

daisygirlmac · 29/12/2016 22:24

imavinoops I hope you sat on your bum while everyone cleaned up round you. Sciatica is making me so unhappy today it's unbearable.

Imavinoops · 29/12/2016 22:46

Ouch Garden that sounds horrid! I've had a little heartburn, mainly at night for the past couple of weeks but nothing like that. Is there nothing you can take to ease it a little?

I did pitch in a little (mainly took down the Xmas Dec's BAH HUMBUG! Grin) but DP did all the the moving, lifting and carrying. Such a good chap.

I'm now lounging on the bed in the most undignfield yet incredibly comfortable position. My belly seems to have exploded out this past week. Can't tell if it's the baby growing or just the sheer amount of food I have consumed Wink

Sad I'm rapidly losing the will to live. Sounds a bit mad but for so many practical reasons (childcare, DH off work, constant pain and vomiting) I had hoped LO would be born this week but nothing. Lost first part of mucus plug a week ago and more a few times since but no labour. Was having pains on and off but nothing now. Can hardly walk so my plans for walking this baby out of me are going nowhere. Just needed a moan Sad

AButterflyLightsBesideUs · 31/12/2016 14:02

I am also foul and bad tempered. 36+5 and fucked off in the extreme. Everything hurts - right now especially my bottom right rib which has been bruised for weeks by baby sitting breech with his head rammed up in there. I'm so tired because I can't sleep because everything hurts, nowhere is comfy and if I do get comfy for a bit then I wake up desperate to do one pathetic tablespoon of wee. Or DD is in the bed complaining I am not cuddling her properly. I have totally had enough. Hyperemesis in the first trimester (thankfully long gone!), PGP from 20weeks, bastard awful piles, total black exhaustion throughout and antenatal anxiety & PTSD from previous late losses meaning I've been under the MH team for months. I just want to have my body back to myself and an end to all the headtilting from professionals checking up on me. I am grateful really, I'm just feeling really arsey about everything today

daisygirlmac · 31/12/2016 14:06

Ah butterfly sounds shit, have a gaviscon and a slice of cake from me. My baby is also breech and his head is in my ribs too so I sympathise as it's a really horrible indescribable pain!

AButterflyLightsBesideUs · 31/12/2016 14:12

I'm sitting on the sofa mindlessly scoffing chocolate truffles daisy but I'll take the cake and thank you Grin Sorry you are also suffering the rib pain, horrible!

RedCrab · 31/12/2016 15:43

I'm only 27 weeks with DC3. God, I'm so fucking angry Angry Hmm

Though this thread has made me laugh. Das has just turned four and become the hellbeast they're suppsoed to turn into a two. He needs so much patience - patience I'm sadly lacking right now!

And everything hurts. So much more with subsequent pregnancies. Stupid endless walking round the park. And my toddler STILL doesn't sleep through at 22 months.

God I'm so ANGRY.

Grump, grump. Moan, moan.

RedCrab · 31/12/2016 15:44

So many typos too!

Imavinoops · 31/12/2016 15:55

Butterfly and Daisy I'm wondering if mine if breech these days you know. At 28 week midwife appointment she had a feel but couldn't quite work out where exactly she was. She guessed at head down but back to back but asked me to keep an eye on where my kicks were.
They have ALL been at the bottom ever since which makes me think she is breech. Time to move still!
Although if heads being towards ribs makes your ribs hurt then that would make loads of sense for me right now too! Worse at the end of the day and it just feel so so uncomfortable and painful.

Hey Red!
DS has been trying to tell me (in his half speech/screech and half signing way) all about this bloody ghost on his youtube video ALL DAY. Omg, if I have to go WOOOOOWOOOOOOOOO one more time I will chuck the bloody phone down the stairs. Fuck you fucking ghost!!

Had a bit of a random panic today after reading about premature labour and deliveries and decided I should probably have a hospital bag packed "just in case" Turns out I have more to pack than I thought but I REFUSE to use a bigger bag. I feel so stubborn and grumpy today.
