OMG keys what an awful thing to go through but you must be so relieved! I'd been wondering how you were, so glad it's good news specially now the clot has gone.

sundayraspberry · 21/01/2016 16:24

mini am sure your DH will understand that you've been a bit distracted lately. Hopefully there's no more bleeding for you.

keys excellent news about the clot passing and hearing the heartbeat! Not so good that DD is unwell, hope she improves soon as you must be in need of some rest Flowers

SomebodySedateMe · 21/01/2016 16:26

keys I'm sorry you're having to go through so much at the moment! You must be incredibly strong to deal with all this. So glad you heard the heartbeat.

I'm at home - they can't decide what to do with me. Got most of the symptoms of pre-e but no protein so they've told me to call them if I feel really unwell. Pretty useless! 36 weeks today and very impatient!

Hope everyone else is feeling good today Flowers

Hi am exhausted Hun. My youngest DD bless her has so many complications she has cerebral palsy and now suffers with epilepsy. She's got what you they call a VP shunt in her head to her tummy to help drain fluids as she had a brain bleed at birth. But she's not serveraly disabled we were incredible lucky with her she walks with a limp on her right side and can not use her right hand but she eats what we eat sleeps how we sleeps breath how we breath we was so so lucky. But when she gets sick and can starts fitting we can't be sure her shunt is not infected or blocked as supposed to having a epileptic fit so we get rushed into hospital but she's ok she has a bug how I got it's not the sickness bug. So I'm always down my local hospital. Looking forward to a nice hot bath and crawling into bed early and watching tv.

Thanks so much for the well wishes guys it was a very scary time I honestly thought it was game over for me.

-sombody that's sounds awful Hun how worrying for you. Unfortunate there so over run in hospitals they send you away when they shouldn't. Your 36 weeks pregnant they should of kept you in on strict bed red. That's terrible. You make sure you go back if y Ur not feeling well Hun because that can be so dangerous if you're u don't look after yourself properly I can not believe they sent your u home. How are you feeling yourself now? Are you feeling unwell or just anxious? So sorry your ur going through this xx

SomebodySedateMe · 21/01/2016 17:07

I've just read in the paper that the hospital has norovirus so that could be why they were desperate to get rid of me! They've closed down some of the wards so maybe I'm better off at home. Pretty anxious and throwing up but no swelling. Just keeping an eye on things day by day now!

I hope your lovely DD gets over her bug soon and feels better. You sound like you really need a rest after everything recently. I've got my fingers crossed that it's plain sailing for you from now on. You deserve it!

keys27 · 21/01/2016 17:27

Yeah I would of thought that's the reason then Hun very unusual for them to send someone home with them symptoms knowing tHey could go in to labour anytime within the next few weeks. There is a lot of sickness going round again my gps when I called for an appointment on Monday they said you don't have sickness and dyheria do you. I said no why is going round again and she said yes it's rife atm. There is no way you're u would want that on top of being heavily preggers. Just keep an eye Hun make sure your u put yourself first. Try and rest as much as you can. I am sorry your going through this some times these things are just completely out of our hands.

Do you know what you're ur having? Do you have everything ready? So lovely knowing your LO will be in you ur arms soon.

Thanks also for the lovely words means so much. I couldn't of got through half the things without your u guys for support so thanks so much it means a lot. Xx

JessieMcJessie · 21/01/2016 18:09

I'm sorry so many of you are having a worrying time and am keeping my fingers crossed for you all.

I hope this isn't insensitive, but just wanted to report back on our first scan today, at 8+1. Heartbeat seen, all measurements on track. Trying to enjoy the relief till the next deadline starts to loom.

keys sorry to hear you and DD have both been unwell Sad hope you are feeling better now and glad baby is doing well! Good luck with your appointment today,

I got no sleep last night as have scan this morning and have to go on my own Sad feeling a little terrified but fingers crossed everything goes okay. It's at the EPU does anyone know if they would still print a photo for me to be able to show DP? He's feeling sad to not be able to make it!

OTheHugeManatee · 22/01/2016 09:41

crumbles yes IIRC they print a little pic for you to take away.

Fingers crossed all is well for you today Smile

sundayraspberry · 22/01/2016 09:43

Great to hear your scan went well Jessie!

I would have thought you could get a picture to show DH crumbles, surely it'll be the same sonographers that do the dating and 20 week scans? Hope you get someone nice Smile

Sophia haven't heard from you in a while, hope all is OK. Have you a scan date coming up?

Sophia1984 · 22/01/2016 10:32

Hi sunday :-) Thanks for thinking of me. Have been crazy busy with work. I deliver workshops in schools all over the region, and the one I'm in at the minute takes 2.5 hours to get to so am knackered! Can't wait till I can tell boss and colleague as they must just think I'm lazy at minute! Mostly over today though. All going well here - 11w4d - have scan on Tuesday and little bump starting to show :-) Still trying not to get too excited, but it's hard when I look and feel so pregnant. Morning (and now evening) sickness has returned with a vengeance! How are you?

keys27 · 22/01/2016 10:49

crumbles good luck with your scan today hun. Thinking of you. Hope you get a lovely clear picture.

sophia wow them few weeks have gone so quickly. Tuesday will be here before you know it how exciting :). Morning or afternoon scan? I can't wait to get a little baby bump I'm showing already bit mines pure bloating lol. I vet you can't wait to tell work sounds like a stressful hun and constantly on the go. Looking forward to hearing of your news.

Sunday how far gone are you now hun I was looking back on the old ttc thread it's amazing how far you've come since September.

Can't believe we're all nearly there the 13 week scan :) keeping the positivity for all us mummy's to be.

MimiDoddrioni · 22/01/2016 13:26

Morning all, had my scan at my local EPU, still only saw a sac but it's grown since Monday Smile. It's measuring 5 wks, I should be 8 weeks. I was told 5 wks is normally too early to see things. Next scan in 10 days, so I'm wishing like crazy for a heartbeat then.

keys27 · 22/01/2016 13:52

mimi I'm so sorry hun you couldn't see what you wanted to see. On a positive note it has grown so maybe the ovulation took later than expected or its going to a massive growth spurt. I heard of one story on here when I Googled can't remember what site but ill look back on my history later see if I can fine it for you of one lady who was 8 weeks they couldn't see anything told her to expect the worst and come back in 2 weeks time. Two weeks later there was a 9 week gestation fetus with a heartbeat. I'm keeping everything crossed for you hun so positive it has grown xxx

MimiDoddrioni · 22/01/2016 15:51

Keys, I've just caught up on the thread, it's great news that the clot has gone but I can only imagine how scary that was for you. Am so pleased to hear that baby's looking healthy and is on track Smile. I'm feeling ok about the scan today as there's definitely been some growth and the sac isn't so big yet that it's most likely to be a blighted ovum. I would also be more worried if this was happening and I didn't have a tilted uterus, as I've found quite a lot of stories of women with tilted uterus's where baby doesn't show up on scans until 9 weeks or later!

keys27 · 22/01/2016 16:23

Yes Hun this lady's story I was reading hers was tilted which is why is didn't show until it got to a certain gestation 9-10 weeks I think going on the fact it's grown and it's not big enough to be a unviable pregnancy there is lots of hope to hold on to. If EPU thought you were gthe img to miscarriage they would of prepared you for it from my recent experience anyway. They can see how tilted your ur uterus is. Were they very supportive towards you at the EPU? The worst is the wait which we have all felt in here 10 days feels like a lifetime when your waiting on something that means so much.

Sending your u hugs and wishing these next 10 days to swiftly for you. How far will you be along by then?
I don't think whether we're 6 weeks or six months whatever stage we are at were all going to worry which makes this site so lovely we can all support each other. Talking to you guys keeps me going it really does.

Crumbles12 · 22/01/2016 16:44

Mimi great news that there has been some growth, fingers crossed for you that by the next scan they can see a little clearer!

Scan went generally well today Smile baby measures 9wks3days and had a good heartbeat and a little wriggle, it looks like it was initially twins with only one developing fully so the technician said over the next few weeks I may have a heavy bleed as the body expels it, or the other baby could absorb it, they didn't seem too concerned but Im worried that could cause problems? I am determined NOT to google!

JessieMcJessie · 22/01/2016 17:06

Congrats Crumbles. Did you have a high likelihood of twins- Assisted conception or family history?

My scan yesterday involved her rooting around very carefully for a second embryo as I had 3 transferred. A tiny part of me had once thought that having 2 at once would be a great solution to starting so late but having read up a lot on the risks associated with multiple births I was very relieved that only one had taken.

Crumbles12 · 22/01/2016 17:14

Jessie Thank you! Natural conception but there is some history of twins in the family, I know what you mean, the idea of twins is lovely but a multiple pregnancy would be hard going! x

keys27 · 22/01/2016 17:28

9+3 we are spot on in our EDD together how exciting I am 9+4 today but baby measuring a little small so have a feeling they may put me back a few days on the dating scan. I am so so pleased you see your healthy baby.
My friend had what's happening to you she didn't have an early scan so at 10 weeks when she started bleeding so bad she thought she had lost the baby. Scan showed she was carrying twins. It's also quite common Hun I don't think you have anything to worry about because the passing of the fetus that has not grown will be a lot smaller than you healthy baby if that makes sense so the bleed won't affect your LO.
However I am sorry to hear you may of had twins Hun. Must of been very overwhelming with emotions for you.

Crumbles12 · 22/01/2016 18:18

keys ahh we are only a few days apart! thank you for the kind words, did it all work out okay with your friend? The baby hung in there through the bleed? I suppose it must be more common as if you only had a 12 week scan you might not even know! They didn't seem too concerned and just said to try rest up and if I do have a bleed that it would probably be down to that and not to worry, praying I don't bleed as I won't be able to 'not worry' about it!! how are you feeling today? Hope your DD is a little better too.
