Bowser and Solan, I am so so sorry Flowers you are both in my thoughts and hope you get the love and support around you to help you through this tough time. Big hugs.

Crumbles12 · 19/01/2016 12:35

Mimi I took another test at 7 weeks and it was a lot fainter than the positive at 6 weeks. I asked the Dr and he wasn't concerned at all he just said that it can vary a lot down to how hydrated you are, he also said sometimes the hormone levels peak a bit and calm down. The test is apparently only meant to show if the hormone is present and may not necessarily be darker the further along you are.

Eastend2015 · 19/01/2016 13:15

Bowser and Solan so so sorry to hear your news and everything crossed that we will see you here again soon. Sending you both virtual hugs FlowersChocolate

MimiDoddrioni · 19/01/2016 13:35

Solan, I'm sorry that you're having to go through this. Hope you've got lots of support to help you through it.

Thanks Manatee and Crumbles, I knew it was a daft thing to do and would only give me more to worry about. I have now stepped away from the pee sticks!

I've been reading that it's more common to not be able to see anything but the sac in women with a retroverted uterus in early pregnancy so am trying to take some comfort in that.

Lilliana · 19/01/2016 14:07

So sorry solan thinking of you Flowers

Lola121 · 19/01/2016 15:34

Hi

Hope its ok to join. After a mmc in Dec 12 and lots of ttc am expecting baby in May. Trying my hardest to enjoy it but also not wanting to tempt fate.

So sorry to everyone going through losses, its utterly heartbreaking.

Mimi - I have a titled uterus and it took 3 scans before they could confirm the pregnancy was viable. I thought I was 6 weeks at the first scan but they could only see a sac and not what was inside. I had a very long 10 day wait for the second scan where we saw a heartbeat, but everything was measuring small. I had another very long 10 days to wait after that for the final early scan where they confirmed all was ok. I have continued to measure 11 days behind but they said its all ok at the moment.

Its tough getting through the days of waiting and very hard to stay away from google

sundayraspberry · 19/01/2016 16:29

So very sorry bowser and solan. Hope you both have swift recoveries Flowers. If and when you are ready to try again, I can recommend the TTC after mc thread x

Hi to Lola too, welcome. Lovely to have some more ladies further along in their pregnancies.

OTheHugeManatee · 19/01/2016 16:55

Welcome Lola Smile

keys27 · 19/01/2016 19:39

solan browser- I am so sorry to hear of your devistating news. Its so heartbreaking but keeping the bench warm and looking forward to seeing you back here very soon. Hope the recovery goes quickly and easy as it can for your u both. Again I am ever so sorry I know the hurt your feeling wouldn't wish it on anyone. Big hugs.

lola welcome Hun. May is not to far away keeping everything crossed for you lovely to have you on board.

mimi it's very true with the uterus tilt there is such large areas of error in early pregnancy scans people panic. WhIch is why they don't like giving early scans. With DD2 she was 3 weeks behind I was like you worried sick every 10 days until my scan but she was 3 in December so don't worry to much just yet wait until your next scan and try and stay as positive as you can I know it's hard I am going through it myself atm. Big hugs. Also heard loads about lines looking fainter after after a few weeks of conception peeing on a stick is the worse thing you can do can give u a false reading at 6/7 weeks.

manatee did you get a scan book Hun? It's horrible when you start to bleed the panic. How are your u feeling today? Hope midwife reassured you.

sunday crumbles my bleeding got worse overnight spent all day with cramps. They couldn't scan me as no availability but when you have a clot your body can start a labour like process trying to contract it out which is why I could be in so much pain. My cervix is closed and no bleeding around it however they said its very swollen and looks infected so bloods and swabs were taken. They've refered me for another scan should get a phone call tomorrow really hoping peanut is ok. This was around the time I mc in May so I'm so anxious.

Hopefully will know either way tomorrow. Sorry to hear everyone's on a bit of worry atm here's hoping solan and browser are back with us very soon and everyone has a better end of the week. Good luck with all the scans also handholding with you all. Xxx

OTheHugeManatee · 19/01/2016 20:55

MW appt today - she said as I'm 8wks it's most likely just a hormonal response to the fact it would be my period otherwise. I've had nothing for 24hrs so fingers crossed it's all ok.

keys27 · 20/01/2016 06:45

manatee. Sorry she did not offer you any ther scan. When I was in hospital and said to the gynaecologist my bleeding was on and off she said its very unlikely to be a mc as you would bleed constantly from then on. goes read up on early bleeding in pregnancy it's so common.

Anyone else finding this is the longest January ever?

keys27 · 20/01/2016 06:48

Sorry that was meant to say I READ UP on early bleeding in pregnancy not GOES up lol wow that sounded so bossy. Xx

OTheHugeManatee · 20/01/2016 09:18

keys TBH I'd have been surprised if she'd offered another scan. It was not much spotting - literally one wipe (sorry if tmi) - and because of the timing ie around when my period would've arrived she just said it's probably related to the missed period and just to keep an eye and call in any reappearance.

When I had the mc last time once the bleeding started it didn't stop, just gradually escalated over 24 hours along with cramps that got gradually worse and worse. That is definitely not happening to me at the moment. So between that and the fact I saw a heartbeat and everything apparently fine last Friday I've decided not to stress too much. If I get really neurotic between now and the dating scan I can always go private again.

OTheHugeManatee · 20/01/2016 09:22

Also keys hoping you get your call back today and a bit more clarity on what's happening with you. It's so nerve-racking especially around the time you mc previously. I'm about that time too and it's doing my nut in.

You're one tough cookie to be coping with all this PLUS the problems with your dp. FX for your call back today Smile

Lilliana · 20/01/2016 13:16

Manatee it sounds good wrt your bleeding. Hope that's all it is.

Thinking of you today Keys x

SomebodySedateMe · 20/01/2016 18:09

manatee it sounds just like the bleed I had at around 7-8 weeks. Very different from mc bleeding and as you said around the time my period was due. Fingers crossed!

I'm being seen yet again tomorrow because they're worried I've developed pre-eclampsia. I have no luck!

OTheHugeManatee · 20/01/2016 18:14

Any news on a re-scan to check all is ok, keys?

OTheHugeManatee · 20/01/2016 18:15

X posted - omg somebody you must be so fed up 😕

Cuppachaplz · 20/01/2016 22:02

Somebody big hugs. Hoping you're not feeling too rotten and that they can do done thing to stabilise you xx

Manatee fx, but glad no further bleeding. Hugs

Birth choices yesterday. Wound up in tears. Again :(
I'm so fed up of no one listening, and then Grizzling in front of them out of sheer frustration. Whoops!
I do have an appointment with anoth consultant in a couple of weeks. Hoping to get it together by then :/

Lilliana · 21/01/2016 07:01

what do you want to happen cuppa? Hope they listen to you. Do you have someone who can fight for it for you if you're struggling to get them to listen?

Hope you're ok somebody rest up. Are you at home or in hospital?

Look after yourself all

Cuppachaplz · 21/01/2016 09:35

Lilli
I would like to be allowed to vbac (actually in an ideal world, I'd like a water birth, and to be allowed to move and drink)
Most of all, I would like someone to discuss it. It occurred to me today they everyone has become so obsessed with lecturing me that no one has EVER listened to baby's heartbeat (one attempt at 18w couldn't hear it).

MimiDoddrioni · 21/01/2016 10:17

Lola welcome to the board and may you're stay be an uneventful one Smile. Thanks for sharing your experience, I have my fingers crossed that I'll get a better outcome at my scan tomorrow but I'm not convinced.

Keys thanks for your kind words too. Are you're bearing up ok? You've been quiet for a couple of days.

So I'm 8+1 today by my dates, I've had a terrible nights sleep of feeling crampy, dreams of miscarriage and getting up every few hours to check if I'm bleeding. There was nothing overnight but the tiniest little brown smudge when I wiped about an hour ago. Hopefully it's just my body thinking it's AF time. It's DH birthday tomorrow and I haven't even managed to get a card for him because I've been so wrapped up in all of this. I feel like a terrible wife right now.

Crumbles12 · 21/01/2016 10:57

Welcome Lola :)

Hope everyone is doing okay!

Manatee glad the bleeding hasn't continued and the midwife isn't worried about it!

keys hope you are doing okay and have heard back from someone and got a scan booked to double check.

Mimi I'm with you on not sleeping! Have an early scan booked for tommorow morning and have been up all night stressing about it so feeling knackered today!! I'm sure the brown spotting is fine, brown is old blood so could be from a while back but just worked its way down!

keys27 · 21/01/2016 13:28

Hi guys sorry for the late response I was hospitalised with a large bleed thought it was the end so yesterday was agonising couldn't sleep all the nurses and doctors rushing around and me not knowing if baby was ok or not. Just got home was discharged a little while ago with s scan. My blood clot came away no more sign of a bleed in my uterus and the best news of all peanut has survived it very healthy heartbeat which I heard (broke down in tears) measuring 9 weeks 3 days all now looks healthy and they said its so unlikely I will miscarry now as everything looks perfect.

On the other hand my youngest DD is seriously unwell so I will catch up on all your posts a bit later.

somebody I hope your ok Hun keeping everything crossed for you that you don't have that and if you do I hope you get the right amount of support you need I am thinking of you xxx

Eastend2015 · 21/01/2016 14:19

Wow keys that sounds dreadful and absolutely terrifying! So so pleased that the bean has has hung on in there though and hoping everything settles down from now on!
