Here we go, as promised...

Yes Dino, I am M2T. Not in disguise though, just got really bored of my name.

So this thread can be a record of the last half of our pregnancies. I'm going to print out the original as a nice log of the first 5 months of the pregnancy.

This is thread we'll all be posting on when we go into labour!! I'm all excited now.

Nothing yet - midwife says am 4/5ths engaged which is good news I suppose but I just want the baby to come now.

Heard a horror story of someone my DH knows who went overdue and the baby died because the placenta stopped functioning and have virtually convinced myself this is going to happen to me for some reason. Utterly irrational and highly unlikely, I know. For some reason though I've been v. logocal and calm throughout this preganancy but its just in these final few weeks that my emotions have gone berserk which makes me come up with odd stuff like that.

Hope everyone's OK.

Hi Everyone, found this site this morning, and can't drag myself away, wish I'd found it sooner I'm 37+6 with second though it's 10 years & 7 MC's since 1st....Can anyone tell me what are DD, DP, DH, DS etc?? Scuse my ignorance

Still here and waiting, 41 weeks today. Who is still waiting on this thread? Everyone sign in please!!!!

Went to the hosp today and the doc wanted to do a sweep but I didn't want to, she did an internal and said the head was very low and I was 1 cm.

Had a scan thing to check the baby's heartbeat and movement and all is well, have to go back on Saturday for another one and let them know if I have changed my mind on a sweep - anyone got any experience of this??? I have been given until next Wednesday and then I will be induced so I need to get this baby out .

Got appointment to discuss induction on Wednesday - really hope I've had this baby by the end of the week!

40 weeks and waiting! Joined the Sept thread but wanted to come one here as i knew there would be a few just over and even though i am not over i am starting that anxious phase! I know going into labour on your due date is not exactly common but from now on it is going to drag and the longer i wait the more people will be phoning me!!!!
Can I ask for a sweep or do they just offer when they think its ready??

Thanks Skate & Dinosaur - still waiting but pretending to DH that I am not!! Eaten the whole of the fridge and probably won't sleep tonight but am trying to relax and forget about it but very hard!!

Might try sex tonight but eaten so much fudge I feel sick!! God that'll turn DH on won't it combined with my huge bump and leaking boobs!!!

Good luck to everyone still waiting, seems ages since I was pregnant now (6 weeks ago DD cam early ended up in July) the end is near!!

Finally back on line after the arrival of Chloe on 15 August after a 30 hour labour and failed ventouse forceps delivery. Despite being very sore for a couple of weeks I am loving motherhood and am madly in love with our little girl . She is taking all my attention though - she wants to be held all the time - awake or asleep - so posting opportunities are few and far between.
Congrats to all who've delivered over the past couple of weeks and good luck to everyone still waiting.
