Clomid success stories please

Not sure if this has been done before but am due to start clomid next month and could do with some happy stories. Please let me know why you were prescribed it and how long it took to get pregnant.

How are you all, I haven't been on in a while... well, went today for my U/S had one mature follicle measuring at 22mm and received my trigger shot its the first time I ever got a 22mm follicle they usually are 18mm.

I will do my hpt on 4/22 wish me luck... this is my last round of clomid I hope it works...... Next step is Letrozole....

How are you all? I found this website that talks about the benefits of grapefruit juice etc to help with CM when oving as clomid can make it unfriendly to sperm hope it helps

No, But I feel soooo tired and burned out... I'm not sure if its because of the shot or maybe I need a vacation LOL.... I could go to sleep right at the moment.....

I feel that way too rugma but for me I think its because I am due af lol either that or the easter holidays and my DS and Dstep son are driving me mad

Hi claire, I'm not sure, you may get working tax credits as you will be on a reduced rate of pay. It may be worthwhile going to the HM Revenue and Customs page on the net it may give you more information or even go to the DWP website. Did you get your bloods done today? xxx

Hi Claire I am still waiting for af so I can start the clomid, I forgot to phone the docs to see the results of CD35 butkind of figured whats the point, its very doubtful I would have ov'd so late on so I'm just focusing on af and starting clomid again hopefully with better results, they do say it can take 3 months to work so heres hoping I'm the same as you and third time lucky. How are you feeling? xxx

You never no you might have ovulated late, they think I did so I would phone for the results as soon as you can, I'm feeling quite down today, I spoke to my dad last night and told me the hospital are going to stop all his treatment so he will probably have about a month left,

I didnt know your dad was ill, sorry to hear that chick, I know nothing I will say will help you feel any better, the best advice I can give is to enjoy the time you have left together.

We are just back from the park, I am shattered and still no bloody af lol, What you up to this weekend?

hey stac, god that is a long cycle! I should come on next Monday then start my 4th round, I was thinking the other day about you not ovulating and last month I took different dosage on different days maybe you should try that? X

I took 150mg days 2 and 3 then 200mg days 4 and 5 then back to 150mg for days 6 and 7 and it seemed to do the trick,

I can't belive you still havent come on! That is strange,

Did you have extra clomid to use up? I have some extra 50mg that I could increase a couple of the days. I am surprised I haven't come on too kind of tempted to test just to rule it out but don't fancy the disappointment would rather just wait for af. I feel quite crampy just now so maybe its on its way.
I was supposed to be having a day out with the kids today but the dog hurt himself so I spent my day at the emergency vets, hes ok now though. Hows your grandad? Did you have a nice time with your sister?

Yeah I just took extra, I would try that if I were you, I think I'd have to test aswell I wouldnt be able not to.

What did your dog do? Yeah I saw my grandad but don't think he really new who I was? What are you up to today?

What dose were you suppose to be taking last month? As I said I do want to test but I am scared, its bad enough being told I havent ov'd without BFN, why is this soo hard lol

With the dog the vet just thinks its like a trapped nerve so he is pretty down today wee luv lol Not up to much today can't be bothered, what about you? xx

I was supose to be on just 150mg but didn't think another 50mg would hurt, I would test just to put your mind at rest, you no that its going to be nagative so you shouldn't be to dissapointed, X

Rugma, i wish you the best of luck of this month! it does sound promessing.
I have been trying to kill time waiting for my af to come, to finally start with my treatment. I am on day 30, last month it comes on day 36. I have no af symptom so far, but never wanted them so much to come.
My husband has to go away 2 times this month for buisness, and i think i ll have to go with him if the peack is falling at this moment. So can t wait, to get organise! i am gonna do everything i can to maximise my chances. I am on a special vitamin called multicentrum, got from vitamin A to Zinc. I am going to drink 2liter of water a day and i also gonna try the white egg.
So let s see what it brings!!

I have looked at this forum for a long time and it has given me so much hope hearing the success stories and seeing how i'm not the only one!
We had been trying to conceive for a year and a half when we were referred to the hospital,all tests for us both were clear and we had "unexplained infertility". I took clomid for four months and didn't fall pregnant, 6 weeks after finishing clomid, and over 2 years since starting trying to conceive I fell pregnant naturally. I am convinced that this has happened because of the clomid. I still can't beleive it really is happening to me. I'm now 17 weeks pregnant,have had 2 scans,heard the heart beat and started to feel the baby move,and keep crying cause i'm so happy!!
I no only to well how hard it is,such an emotional roller coaster,but don't ever give up hope,clomid really does work.

Thanks for giving us some hope cara sometimes ttc gets us down but I always feel more positive when I hear success stories x

The white egg help to carry the sperm to the egg. It maximises your chances. Lubrificant are unadviced! they are defecting the sement!
when we are ovulating we produce a discharge like a white egg, if you are adding the white egg you are adding more cervical fluid which are the most fertile kind. Beside i have heard that clomid does dry you up and you do not produce so much cervical fluid. Does anyone got that feeling?
