Clomid success stories please

Hi

Not sure if this has been done before but am due to start clomid next month and could do with some happy stories. Please let me know why you were prescribed it and how long it took to get pregnant.

I know i am in the wrong thread but didn't get a response on ttc thread. As hopefully you are all here.

hey stac, oh my god it was so interesting, it was quite depressing because it is just so hard for the sperm to reach the right place, it did make me think how the he'll are we ever going to get pregnant!

Didn't ovulate again this month, but I have to go through the carry on of getting bloods done CD 21, 28 and 35 so its prolonging the cycle, bit gutted as really didn't want to take progesterone again this month does anyone know if clomid gives you a natural period anyway? I thought it only did if you had ovulated

Sorry to hear that you didnt ovulate, its soooooooooooooooooooo frustrating isnt it, and i now its hard to keep posotve as well, We all think it will never happen to us dont we.
Not sure about the natural period bit, iv never thought to ask. XXX

My consultant phoned me this afternoon and booked me in for a scan this friday coming and another 1 on monday so at least i will hoprfully no if i am going to ovulate this month or not. Im also going to ask about trigger shots maybe you should ask about that aswell?

What dose of clomis are you on now? X

Think I wil be getting put up to 150mg depending on what the consultant thinks. Not wanting to be nosey but did you have to take provera this month for your af? I need to write a list, I defo want to know why I'm not getting scanned and what the alternative is to the progesterone, arrgghh soo many questions. Fingers crossed you ov this month xxx

No i dint really want to take provera coz i just thought all the tablets we have to take my body could do with a bit of a break so i waited, my cycle was 35 days so really long but i was kind of releived to see it when it appeared coz it shows my body is getting back to some normality, After taking the pill for 10 years and all the clomid and everything else we do its nice to have a break. X

I am hoping for the same thing, I don't think 35 days is too long for a clomid cycle think thats why the doc is doing bloods for 3 weeks, heres hoping I am the same as you cos I don't fancy doing progesterone and 150mg cllomid lol. How have you felt on that dose? Do you feel better than you do when taking provera? Also how long was it since you took a period between stopping the pill and taking the provera? More questions Soz xx

Taking provera didn't give me any side effects so it hasn't been any different, I havent had any dude effects taking this dose, fingers crossed it stays that way, X

Wish I didn't get side effects, don't really get much with the clomid so I don't mind taking that just wish my body would sort itself out lol

Things are ok at the minute, Iv actually started to relax a bit about it all and it feels so nice not to be constantly thinking about getting pregnant and always being down about it (sure it wont last,Ha Ha) We should be moving house in the middle of june so im quite occupied with that at the moment,

you looking forward to moving? Maybe the thought of the move is distracting you from ttc but its a good thing might get bfp for you.

I'm just a bit fed up, probably the same way you were the other week after blood tests but looking forward to the appointment, gives me something to focus on, I will let you know how it goes. Any plans for the weekend? XX

Yeah im really looking forward to moving. It will be mine and my boyfriends first place together coz we both live with my mum at the moment,

I had my scan this morning, she was just having a looking because iv got pcos she wanted to measure the size of them all so when she goes my other scan next week she will be able to see if i have got any good sized follicles there, When is your appointment?

My appointment is Monday afternoon at 2, I had that scan done before I started the clomid as they thought I had pcos, the scan confirmed it but my ovaries were kind of normal size.
I loved geting my first house, doing the decorating, and choosing furniture but moving after that was a nightmare cos I hate moving lol. The house dp and I are in at the mo is our first house so it was nice doing it all together

She didnt really say alot just booked me in for wednesday aswell, i asked her about having my period even tho i didnt ovulate and she said clomin brings on a false period if you dont ovulate but its a natural period if you do ovulate but dont fall Pregnant. X

Had the result for all my test last tuesday. Everything is good! spermcount, hormones, hystero... So i have to wait now for my next cycle!starting clomid 50mg day 3-7, plus injection!. it s killing me because i can t stop thinking about it! it s been a while now that i am waiting for it and when i think that i could have started a while ago if i would have gone directly to a good specialist. Anyway can t wait for my af. 21 days to go!!! hope this new cycle gonna be bingo for all of us.

Just thought I would let you know about the consultant yesterday. He is keeping me on 100mg of clomid as he says there are dangers in going any higher for women with pcos, also if I don't take period naturally then I will have to take progesterone. Regarding the mood swings he say ttc is a very emotional time and not to worry if I am a bit weepy or moaning at everyone. So back at docs tomorrow for cd 35 bloods and a progesterone prescription, heres hoping af comes tonight or tomorrow.

How are the rest of you? Have you all moved to another thread and not told me lol xxx

Sorry I havent been on for a few days things have just been really busy, were looking for a puppy and I didn't no it would be so hard finding 1!

Iv got pcos aswell and I'm on 150mg probably going up to 200mg next month, XX

May just be my consultant, I'm not too bothered as he says the 100mg is the most common dose.
If I can suggest a dog buy a cavalier king charles spaniel we have one and he has the best nature, they are also great with kids, we got ours from dogs trust, although he was 3 1/2 when we got him he fitted in great and is brill with the kids. xxx
