Clomid success stories please

Hi

Not sure if this has been done before but am due to start clomid next month and could do with some happy stories. Please let me know why you were prescribed it and how long it took to get pregnant.

I know i am in the wrong thread but didn't get a response on ttc thread. As hopefully you are all here.

Do you really think if I got sick and threw up on day 22- that I could be pregnant?? We went to Dave & busters for a couple of hours and then to Applebee?s for dinner. I don?t know when I?m going to test. I kind of don?t want to test, because if it?s negative then I don?t want to be upset! Today is day 23 for me... And I always get AF on day 29. So what day do you think I should test? Or do you think I should wait until day 30 and see if AF has come or not and then test? I really really really hope that this could be the month for me! What days are you taking clomid this month? Oh... Ovulating is half the battle!!!

I think that preganancy effects women in different ways, when I was pregnant with ds I had morning sickness as soon as it was confirmed I had bfp but that was 10 years ago. A lot of people say the early tests are only 45-50% accurate so I would wait till day 30. I am taking clomid cd 2 - 6 now on CD 5 so should be oving by this weekend then its the dreaded 2ww. What support do you get from your consultant, do they scan or do blood tests to keep you on track?

Had my scan this moring and she said it does look like i ovulated but i have to have my bloods done next friday to be sure, all this waiting! X

Stac phoned consultant 2day so she is phonein me bk 2day about my af not cumin but im not really bothered since im not gona b takin my clomid for a while so im not really waitin on my period so i can take the tablets..

Hi claire thats great news I am chuffed for you, hope I am the same but I wont know till cd 21 when I get my bloods done. Fingers crossed for bfp!!!

Have they told you how long they want you to take a break for? Do you feel you need a wee break anyway? I'm finding the progesterone is causing bad mood swings so this month I am going to see if af comes on its own, try to limit the amount of hormones I am taking.
You feeling any better after your wee bug?

I still have realy bad af cramp and the bleed is v heavy, is this normal? xx

hi stac, how long have you been on for now, when I came on it was really light for the first 2 days and then it was so heavy, I was a bit worried about it, thought there was something wrong,but it stopped after about another 5 days, X

I came on on Thursday so thats 5 days, it was light on Thursday got heavier by Friday, think its starting to calm down now, hopefully its showing the pills are working this time. How you feeling? All positive I hope xx

If this month doesn?t work they next month I will be doing 150mg on days 2-6. Only on day 21 I get tests done...it confirms that I ovulate. The first part of the 2ww was bad at all... But this week it?s all I have been thinking about!!!!!!!!!!! I wish that I could know what month is gong to be the month for me so I don?t have to do this every month.

Someon said to me the most handy thing to have when ttc is a magic ball that would tell us when it was going to happen and save all the heart ache. I feel a bit more anxious this month as I really want to have at least ov'd as I didnt on the 50mg but trying not to get too worked up arrgghh lol

I have heard lots of women talking about these pains including Brandybaby and they say it is ovulation pains, the pain of your egg releasing so I'm sure your ok but read your leaflet for clomid just in case it says anything different or if your really worried phone your consultant.

Still no af... have 2 wait on the hospital sendin me a letter 2 let me know when they will be doin the procedure and as soon as its over then i can start takin the clomid n tryin again.... so the hospital better hurry up n send for me... hopin my consultant puts me on 100mg next time as i really dont think i ovulated that month there since i still hav no period which has never happened before since ive been on clomid.

is that what happens if u dont have a period it is because no eggs released for u to have a period?

I think you have a period if you do ovulate and also if you don't, I have never ovulated before and had periods so don't really no why you havent come on, X

I think the way it works is you would generally bleed if you had ovulated but get the consultant to check you out, they really should be keeping an eye on you anyway cos clomid is a strange drug especially as we have pcos. How you feeling?

Hello Girls!! i am new there. I was diagnosed with pcos and been ttc in vain. My doc just gave me 2 blood test this month cd9 and cd23 for progesterone, he wanted to check if actually was ovulating. I bought the clearblue electronic monitor and been testing during 15 days this month and no smiley!! however i just got the result of the progesterone blood test and it says 3,9ng/ml! i have been looking on internet and it says that over 3 means ovulation! so i can t really understand.Do you girls have any idea? I have an appointement next monday to get my treatment. Should then start on clomid as my period start. So very happy to ve found this site to keep up with u all. Today is day 28 for me... I don?t ?feel? pregnant. My two close girlfriends told me that you would just know when you are pregnant, because you ?feel? different. If that?s the truth... Then that sucks! I don?t think I?m going to test unless AF doesn?t come at all. I don?t want to get upset. I looked up what pregnancy test will show the earliest...and CVS brand was on that list. I think you are right... If somehow I know what month it would be that I would conceive... I would relax and just wait. But I guess it?s because I really don?t know if I will ever get pregnant.

I wish you luck! i think most of the women don t feel any pregancy symptoms so you never know.

For my part i always do a test the first day i am missing my period, because more you wait, more you hope and more you get upset.

So let s hope for a good news and if not keep trying. One way or another we all gonna get there. All the best!

hey brandybaby... when i was pregnant last time i didnt find out until i was 6 weeks and at the time i was really emotional cryin over the silliest things plus my boobs were so sore i cudnt even run up the stairs without them throbing, then my sister told me to do a pregnancy test and i was pregnant so im keep my fingers crossed for u

I'm on day 20, if got to have my bloods taken on Monday, im sure I did ovulate this month but then I'm sure I'm not pregnant either (just got a feeling it hasn't worked this month)

hey claire havent heard frm them yet... i dnt mind bout havin a break was gona take 1 this month anyway need to take my mind of tryin to get pregnant for a while as i think im gttin 2 stressed out and u never know i could fall pregnant on my own when im not thinkin about it....

Yesterday was day 29 for me... I got my period (very very light, barely there). I thought I was going to be mush more upset . But I think I already knew I wasn?t pregnant. I didn?t feel like I was.
