Clomid success stories please

Hi

Not sure if this has been done before but am due to start clomid next month and could do with some happy stories. Please let me know why you were prescribed it and how long it took to get pregnant.

I know i am in the wrong thread but didn't get a response on ttc thread. As hopefully you are all here.

I am doing my degree in social care, I used to be a project worker for people with mental health problems but I was in a bad cr crash and had to give up work so I decided it was the best time to ttc and do my degree, so here I am lol, this assessment is head doing though. What do you work as? x

hi stac, im a customer service rep for a large stationary supplier, I spike to by consultant and she said to definetly up it to 100, do you ever wonder that its just never going to work?

I do wonder that sometimes but I try to stay positive as I have heard loads of success storiesand feel that I can't loose hope because it never worked the first time.
I think we will get the babies we so deserve. Are you feeling a bit down just now? XX

Yeah i am a bit it hust really annoyes and upsets me that i cant just fall like most other people,
I can on last night @ about 10,should i start taking clomid tonight or tomorrow night?

is it day 2 you have to take your clomid? day 1 is the first day your period starts, so it would be tonight for the clomid, thats the info I got from the gynaecologist, hope that helps. I can't wait for af to come, I have been crampy for the past couple of days which is rubish cos af wont happen till next week, toomuch waiting yet again lol
Are you feeling any better today? Is it maybe just pmt making you a bit down, I usually get like that before it. Just try to remember that even though its harder to get pregnant the end result is well worth it. XXXXX

Hi stac, yeah it might be pmt i supose, iv got to take it day 2 till 6, i wasnt sure when to take it coz they say take it on day 2 but last month when i came on it was in the afternoon and real heavey but where it started late last night and was real light i dont no if i should count today as day 1, god all this planning is driving me mad! I'm new on here just looking for some advice really. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for almost 2 years. I was prescribed clomid 2 cycles ago and am now 6+ weeks pregnant. I cant believe that it worked so fast! . I have a scan coming up but am naturally worried and hoping that everything will be okay. Just wanted to hear from some people that may be in the same position x

Congratulations, it's so good to hear a sucess story. I have pcos and am waiting to start my 2nd dose of clomid 100mg, hopefully to get my bfp.

Think the clomid can make them lighter, so your best just to take it to be on the safe side, at least thats you started then it wont be long till you ov, whats the doc sid about monitoring you for this cycle? XX

I took clomid 50mg on days 5-9 for 4 months. Last month I took 100mg on days 3-7. This month I took day1-100mg, day2-100mg, day3-150mg, day4-100mg, day5-50mg. So I hope that this month will do the trick! If not I will be taking 200mg next month. Today is cycle day 11 for me. How long have you been on clomid? What days & dosage ?

the first month i was taking 50mg days 2-6 and i started it again last night on 100mg, i came on monday night and i seem to have stopped,thats not normal is it? X

well last month I felt very depressed for about 6 or 7 days and just really quiet, how about you?

im fine thanks still waitin on my af to cum was due 2day but then last month i was 2 days early so ill leave it a few days... if my af does cum in the nxt few days i have decided to give myself a break from clomid for a month n c if that makes any difference... hows u, u feelin pretty down at the mo

How come you have decided to have a month off? How long have you been on it for and what dose are you taking ? I'm feeling ok but expect the side effects to kick in either tomorrow or Friday, X

Think thats the same with me, last month it lasted far a while because I took the progeserone then took the clomid straight away so there was no break in between. I am hoping this month will be less severe as I will be taking the clomid properly.

Hey Lauren I hope you dont get your af, have my fingers crossed for you. If you do decide to have a month of you may still fall as clomid has a carry on effect, it works the next month too, I read that on the other thread. I am a bit down but I think its because my body is getting hormones it doesnt produce alone lol I'm sure I will be fine soon.

just feel like havin a break from the whole thing to b honest.... if i was startin this month it wud b my fourth cycle of clomid and i only take 50mg as i have been ovualating each time so dont need to be on a higher dose...

yea i fell pregnant last year on my own just b4 i was to start my clomid tablets but had a miscarriage so i know that it can happen naturally... jus feel i need a wee break n make time for me n steve instead of havin to think about tablets n wot dates are best etc...

I haven't started clomid yet this month think it will be bout this time next week, I am getting so impatient, it works out that I am having 6 week cycles from the start of the progesterone to taking the pregnancy tests. I can understand you wanting a break. xxx

It is really frustrating having to remember what days to take certain tablets and to have bloods done, has either of you taken pregnacare? X

You mean you got your period on Monday night? And then it just stopped? If it?s a really light period... Be careful you actually might be pregnant. Or it could just be a light period. That actually happened to me one time... My cycle is every 29 days and for some reason on day 21 I was bleeding for a whole day... I thought it was my period, but it wasn?t. I got my period 8 days after that.

I definitely believe changing what days you take your clomid dose can make a difference! I think everyone is different, but I know this lady that took 100mg of clomid on days 5-9 for 4 months and never got pregnant... The next month she took 100mg on days 2-6 and got pregnant. So I believe that you have to find out what days are best for your body. That is why I am really hoping this month will do the trick, because I took my dose on days 1-5. Have you ever taken it on those days?

I ovulate on my own. My doctor gave my the script for 4 months 50mg... Then 4 months 100mg. All my blood work and test came back all good, as well with the testing done on my husbands sperm. She said it might take 14-18 months to get pregnant after coming off of birth control pills for 6 years. So I hope switching the days for 3-7 to 1-5 will help. Have you though about taking 100mg? That might jump start your body.

Ever since I have been on clomid... my periods have been so heavy!!! So i know what you mean!
