Hi

Not sure if this has been done before but am due to start clomid next month and could do with some happy stories. Please let me know why you were prescribed it and how long it took to get pregnant.

I know i am in the wrong thread but didn't get a response on ttc thread. As hopefully you are all here.

I'm good thanks, a bit nervous about going to the gynecologist tomorrow and my period whould be due over the next couple of days but because of the pcos I dont take them so will wait to see what the gynecologist says. Did you have a nice weekend?

best of luck 4 2moro stac, does bein on clomid nt make ur periods cum on the date its supposed to... it makes mine quite regular mayb a day or 2 out... spk sn and gud luk again 4 2moro x

I'm not sure cos this is my first cycle of clomid, I have felt quite crampy but dont know if I am imagining it because I want them to either be regular or not to come because I'm preggers lol

Hi Ladies, just dropped in to catch up on the news, sorry to hear you didnt ovulate stac, next month could be the month for you, are they gonna up your dose?

Claire fingers crossed for you, hope your flat out on the big saw as my husbabnd so politely and romantically puts it dont forget the good moves and raised pelvis afterwards. oh boys have it sooo easy.

lauren fingers crossed for you too, hopefully you get bfp on 20th!!

ive my dating scan on thursday so i'll keep yas posted on that. meanwhile stay positive and babydust to all x

Hi Girls

Just thought I would pop on and let you know how I got on today. I saw the gynaecologist and she was very nice, asked a lot of questions but was very pleased with the way my gp has handled the situation. Basically checked all my info and I defo haven't ovulated this month but I'm not too bothered now as she explained this sometimes happens. So the long and short of it is that I have to start 100mg of clomid this month and as I dont have a menstral cycle I have to take the progesterone again.

Good to hear things are going well, the gynaecologist says its not unusual not to ovulate on 50mg so have managed to calm myself down about it lol.

Claire have you had your bloods done? Did you have a good weekend? pc's are a nightmare, i get withdrawl symptoms anytime mine goes down, DP says he is a widow to the internet lol

Lauren Hows it going with you? were are you on your cycle?

im on my 3rd batch of clomid and period is due on the 20th but i dont feel any different so im jus kepin my fingers crossed, thats gd to hear u got on well at the hospital at least its put ur mind at ease... this is a great thread bein able to talk to people who are going throughthe same thing as u isnt it...

hi stac, I have got my bloods on Thursday, I had quite alot of pain on my left side last week so I'm hoping that I did ovulate but I'm not getting my hopes tho so if I haven't ovulated I won't be dissapointed, if got my MRI next week and then my consultant the week after so lots coming up,

My weekend was nice thanks, I had a facial in the morning and then reflexology in the afternoon ( they say that it is ment to help fertility)

I was going out of my mind not being able to log on, my partner takes the Mick out of me always on this site, x

I'm sure you will have ovulated, think I was just unlucky but feeling more at ease because I have saw the gynaecologist, she has put my mind at rest, so I am going to try and relax this cycle, heres hoping I manage it lol

Lauren I didnt send an answer on the other thread as I had sent a message on this one lol, what dosage is your clomid? I was wondering if the side effects increase with the dosage?

hey stac im only takin 50mg of clomid as the first 2 times i went for a scan i had ovulated so 50mg's was plenty for me... the side affects wud prob be a bit more worse than wot u have experienced now, but sayin that i had really bad hot flushes with my first and second dose of clomid but with the third 1 there i didnt really experience any of it, mayb my body is just gettin used to takin it now im not sure... have u started takin ur second dose yet... wot dosage did your consultant tell u to take... it will happen nxt time for u...its soo dishearting... i never thought it wud be so difficult to have a baby... i jus keep wonderin wot is the nxt stage i have to take if my six doses of clomid dont work.. have an appointment wif my consultant in june to see wot the next step is

the consultant told me to take 100mg of clomid and I dont see her again till August, think sometimes its just a case of being left to it, she never discussed any other options, basically if the clomid doesnt work she will talk to me about it them, nightmare, one of the girls on the other thread says the side effects are general regardless of dosage to i should just get what i had which was hot flushes and moddiness. I have to take 10 days worth of progesterone to induce menstration then I can start clomid on CD2-6, I havent been told to go for scans either, think its jsut different rules for everyone. Your right though I always just presumed that because my DS was conceived naturally I would be ok, what a difference 10 years makes xxx

hey stacyea im jus left to it aswell i had scans wif my 1st and 2nd dose of clomid on days 11 but now im jus on my own for the nxt 3 months... thats when i take my clomid to from day 2 - 6

yea i got awful pain when i took clomid on month 1 and 2... i got the pain on the ovary that my consultant had told me had bigger folicles.. it was especially painful when i was standin... i know it may be sore but at least its a good sign that you have ovulated...:0:0
im doin it on my own for the nxt 3 months, dont have to see my consultant until june, and am on my 3rd cycle of clomid this month and havent had any pain this time so am not very hopeful

I was on birth control pills for 6 years. I went off but I didnt start ttc until 6 months after. My husband and I tried for 7 months naturally. Then 4 months on clomid 50mg on days 5-9. One month off . Last month I did clomid 100mg on days 3-7. This month I did day 1- 100mg, day 2- 100mg, day 3- 150mg, day 4-100mg, day 5- 50 mg. Today is day 6 on my cycle. This month what the first time that I had pians in my ovaries. What about you?

What dosage are you taking and what days? So your doctor told you the pain you felt was bigger follicles? Is that a good thing? Good luck to you! And lots of baby dust!

hey ladies,
I had to go for a BF but it was negative, not too sad kind of gathered that it would be so I am back on the progesterone.
I didnt have much pain at all with 50mg of clomid but think everyone is different, I will probably be crippled with it this month.

Claire whens your af due? any news on your bloods?
brandybaby they say the pain is due to ov, hdid you not ov the first 2 rounds?
Lauren dont give up hope, it may just be that your body is getting used to the clomid as you say.

I ovulate normally on my own with no clomid... and everytime with clomid. I always ovulated on day 12, but last month on day 15. Im only on day 6 today. So im hoping that this month will do the trick!

Hi stac,

I had my bloods done today so should get my results on Tuesday, I'm taking provera at the moment coz if got my MRI scan next Friday so should cone on this Wednesday or Thursday, x
