Pray that this little one hangs on!!

After 10 years of fertility treatments, countless failed IVF cyclces and four heartbreaking miscarriages (all at around five weeks), my brother phoned me tonight to tell me that he was sitting on his sofa looking at a scan picture of a little tiny being with a strong heartbeat at seven weeks! Its early days but all the signs are good and this is the furthest they have ever come. I am just sending a heartfelt plea for all of you, whatever your beliefs, to send a little prayer or positive thought that this little baby makes it. I really really believe it makes a difference. We've been praying hard ever since the IVF cycle and I dreamt they had a little girl! They will be wonderful parents. So please send a thought of strength and life and hope and love and whatever else to help this most precious little person make it safely into the world.

LittleMissSensible there is something so special about that photo isn't there. I just love it all all that it says... Gosh just imagining posting pictures of a newborn VVBLB makes ME all warm and fuzzy...

My ds1 (3 1/2) has just come in and said 'I need to get into your bed and hide mummy' and ds2 (20months) has just wandered in after him saying 'mummeee, go go' so I guess that's my cue to sign off for this morning!

its been very spring like here today, very fresh and the nights are becoming lighter, which is good as i lurve sunshine, dont really like winter..you'll be getting plenty of vit D in the sunshine soon living in your beautiful part off the world!..if you have a little bit of jaundice when you arrive(as most bumps do) the sun will clear that up and all the fresh air will make you and mummy happy!..bet your mummy and daddy are counting the minutes now?.xxxx

good evening lovely mumsnetters (and a balmy one it's been in Melbourne) we just got home from a an evening of fish and chips at the beach and paddling till late with our gorgeous English friends who are staying with us for two weeks with their dd and ds (3 1/2 and 15 months) We haven't seen them since we left London last February so its soooooooooo lovely.

VVVVBLB is engaged to be born! All is well, dSIL feels great and relaxed and the doctor is very happy for her to try for a natural delivery (some IVF doctors book their mums straight in for c-sections). We are in delivery month!!!!!!!! oh my goodness. Can you all believe it!
