Pray that this little one hangs on!!

After 10 years of fertility treatments, countless failed IVF cyclces and four heartbreaking miscarriages (all at around five weeks), my brother phoned me tonight to tell me that he was sitting on his sofa looking at a scan picture of a little tiny being with a strong heartbeat at seven weeks! Its early days but all the signs are good and this is the furthest they have ever come. I am just sending a heartfelt plea for all of you, whatever your beliefs, to send a little prayer or positive thought that this little baby makes it. I really really believe it makes a difference. We've been praying hard ever since the IVF cycle and I dreamt they had a little girl! They will be wonderful parents. So please send a thought of strength and life and hope and love and whatever else to help this most precious little person make it safely into the world.

Well dd and i have been to seaside on school trip today..and visited ........a library!..not the sea!..but never mind, dd enjoyed the train ride and the lunch in town afterwards!
Are you having fun in mummies tum today?..hope so..and hope your not making mummy to uncomfortable..ahh, never mind, she'll miss the bump in a few weeks, give her a couple of bops every now and then to let her know you love her

It's a lovely day here on the south coast of England but much, much colder than where you are!

I hope you're all ready to go and that you're keeping yourself strong and healthy for the traumas of your entrance to the world.

I know its very scary to leave your nice, warm, comfortable home and that the journey out may be a bit difficult and painful but it'll be worth it I promise!

And you'll have all your virtual aunties waiting here to welcome you into the world. As well as being able to look at your lovely mummy and daddy at last!

oh my gosh I can barely type for shaking but VVVVVVBLB is on his/her way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My mum just called to day that Katie went into labour this morning and is now in RPA hospital in Sydney, 3 cms dilated and about to have an epidural (its 6pm here). Our eldest sister is there with them, she's a midwife with 20 years experience and is just a calm, strong wonderful support for them. In her words, 'everything is under control and we'll have a baby by the morning'!
Please pray one last time to help this beautiful little being on the last leg of this amazing journey we've all shared.

I've often read your posts and am very happy to hear the baby is on the way. I bet you wish you could just go and be with them. Hope your sil has a smooth labour and birth. I'll have a look for a birth announcement later today.

wonderful, wonderful... my new baby was born 2 and a half weeks ago, and at the time I thought, 3 weeks until the Little Bean is with us... now really on the way. with every thought and prayer for a safe and healthy arrival, keep us posted XXXXXXXXXX

I've been reading this thread from the beginning but never actually posted..I too am trying to not cry at my desk and i wish them all the best and i cant wait to tell my whole family the news as i've been keeping them posted since the start!!

I too have been watching this from the beginning, and just wanted to say all the best to everyone involved. I feel excited, so goodness knows how everyone really close is feeling.
