After 10 years of fertility treatments, countless failed IVF cyclces and four heartbreaking miscarriages (all at around five weeks), my brother phoned me tonight to tell me that he was sitting on his sofa looking at a scan picture of a little tiny being with a strong heartbeat at seven weeks! Its early days but all the signs are good and this is the furthest they have ever come. I am just sending a heartfelt plea for all of you, whatever your beliefs, to send a little prayer or positive thought that this little baby makes it. I really really believe it makes a difference. We've been praying hard ever since the IVF cycle and I dreamt they had a little girl! They will be wonderful parents. So please send a thought of strength and life and hope and love and whatever else to help this most precious little person make it safely into the world.

I was pleased to hear that you'd started eating properly again! We don't want any more scares like that thank you!

we are looking forward to welcoming a nice, plump, healthy little bean into the world in less than a month! So keep exercising and eating all the good things your mum is sending your way, and don't give your mum too many problems, she'll need all her strength for your very special arrival.

Sokay honey..no such luck tho, it was me making a meal on Wednesday night!..but puter was going up the wall and by the time i tried to sort it, it was almost 8.30 and we were both starving!..last night i had mindee overnight so she was in here...couldnt nudge her over far enough to get to puter desk so thought id better leave it.anyway..just off to school, but wanted to check in first...

hope the last couple of days have been nice for you VBLB?, you might want to start getting into a comfy upside down position now, get settled and ready for you birthday.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

morning sweetheart, i am feeling better this morning, just got bad cold now, so can handle that!
How have you been the past few days?, i bet your all comfy, head down(hopefully for mummy!) and nestled all snug ready for your birthday...ooh, Aunty Melbourne, can i get a card to you somehow for VBLB's birthday?, hope i dont sound weird, just that i feel i kind of 'know' VBLB and you know like when someone you bump into and they say, "dya know thingymajig?, and you say Yes and they say oh they just had a baby and you say, oh how lovely ill get them a card"!..and its been such a long journey, i cant believe i have been posting little messages almost every day since we moved into this house in July!
or maybe your email, then i can at least send an E-card, which you could hopefully pass onto mummy and daddy???..
ooh excited now...sit tight little one, not long now.xxxx

Aunty Strawberry of course you can have our address. My sisters and I spent the weekend in Sydney with VBLB and mummy and daddy for the baby shower. It was soooooooooooo lovely. We were talking about you (were your ears burning?) and dSIL was saying they will most definitely take him/her to see you when they visit England! You are very much part of the family already. my email is tuesday and the boys at g mail dot com.)

DB and dSIL just love hearing about the thread and all VBLB'S friends and reading Clemsterdarcy's poems and so appreciate all the love and support they've received from you all but they won't look at it until VBLB is born and I put it into a book for them to read through start to finish. dSIL will come and post after the birth and 'meet' you all then.

It was really special having a weekend focused around their precious little bean and all being there together to share their joy. We can't wait for the next three weeks to go by until the day I can post the happiest news of all!

Gosh I've gone on a bit but just wanted to update you all.

member profiles is being replaces as you can now add pics if you reg your details i "my registration" above at top.

Your post sounds so happy and positive like a little ray of sunshine on the cloudy greay day it is here, so glad all is going well and you got to touch VBLB for us.x

Good Morning VVBLB

I hope you are well and have taken aunty Strawberry's advice to get ready for your birthday and are now doing headstands for mummy!

You still have a bit of time to put on a little more weight and grow a liitle more, but not too much more otherwise mummy will find it difficult to help you arrive in world!

Take care little one, my thoughts and prayers are with you as you approach your 'Grand Entrance'! We'll have the fanfares and fireworks ready

Don't keep us waiting too long please!
