Pray that this little one hangs on!!

After 10 years of fertility treatments, countless failed IVF cyclces and four heartbreaking miscarriages (all at around five weeks), my brother phoned me tonight to tell me that he was sitting on his sofa looking at a scan picture of a little tiny being with a strong heartbeat at seven weeks! Its early days but all the signs are good and this is the furthest they have ever come. I am just sending a heartfelt plea for all of you, whatever your beliefs, to send a little prayer or positive thought that this little baby makes it. I really really believe it makes a difference. We've been praying hard ever since the IVF cycle and I dreamt they had a little girl! They will be wonderful parents. So please send a thought of strength and life and hope and love and whatever else to help this most precious little person make it safely into the world.

I'm sorry I havn't been in contact over Christmas but I took my dd to Lapland to meet Father Christmas... we did ask him to give you a wave as he passed over Australia though, so I hope you saw him!

Very cold but sunny here in England(teesside), just about to get girls wrapped up for 1/2 hour in fresh air in garden !
You keep all snug and warm, itll be spring when you arrive(is that right?) and all the flowers will be coming out, the sun will be shining..hang on..your in Oz arn't you!..well sun is always shining and flowers always in bloom!...anyway, what i mean is, spring is so nice and fresh..new beginnings...new VBLB being welcomed into the world by people youll probably never even meet all over the world.xxxx

Haven't logged on for a while so was thrilled to hear that all is well with our little treasure. I am now going to rush to the members' profiles to check out pics. It sounds like you all had a wonderful Christmas. It was our first Christmas with our DB and it sure adds to the festive cheer. Next year will be a cracker for your family!

Melbournemum, I am originally from England but have lived in Croydon, Vic for the last 15 years, so have now spent half my life here and half in England, so I'm not sure what that makes me! So, sending you loads of love from not very far away.

I have a picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my goodness its the most gorgeous thing. VBLB sent it to me in the post on Thursday with a beautiful card so there I am, crying at the mail box (as you do) Its a beautiful squidgy chubby little face sucking his/her thumb. Am completely in love. I will try and take a picture of it to put up but if that fails I will take it to be scanned tomorrow.
I can't wait to share our precious VBLB's beautiful litle face with you, at minus eleven weeks old!!!! The scan pictures they take these days are amazing.
Will post when I've put it up.
DB phoned today to ask me how much the buggy they were buying should weigh. They were in BabyCo choosing one, its getting to be so real for them now, its just so exciting.

Hello Aunty Sensible we've been missing you and are very happy that you've seen the gorgeous squishy little face too.
Aunty Strawberry I'm still saying girl based on my dreams early on in the pregnancy but I have to admit I'm wavering looking at the picture... it reminds me of my ds1, he was very chubby at just over 9 pounds and I can see a resemblance already!!
