I'm a bit nervous about opening this thread as I've only foundt out I'm pregnant and anything can happen...anyway, due date 1st november, I still cant believe it.....
This is my second baby but I'm even more anxious about this pregnancy than first time round...I'd been wantind a 2nd baby for over a yera now, but dh wanted to wait longer, and now it's happened, but it wasn't planned at all!!!

We're both over the moon though, but trying to contain our happyness just in case....(easier said than done)

anyway, I fell better now, having shared this with you..

off to play with dd1 now!!!

congratulations mum2ela!! (hope you're feeling better now)

I also had my 20week scan yesterday, it was a bit scary at UCLH fetal unit, there must ahve 10 people in the room, from the consultant down to midwives..but the abby's perfect, they could not find anything at all, so that was a huge relief, everyone was very nice to me, but I felt so intimitated that I didn't ask if they could see the sex, it seemed a bit silly really, considering thatw e were there to check if anything was wrong.

good luck with all your scans!!

Samcj - you cannot possibly be having the most wonderful baby in the world cause I am!! !!

I think you feel baby move better after a nice hot cup of tea and laying on your back in bed!! - especially if you have rested the cup against your bump!!

DD has now decided that Buzz is a silly name and if a boy should be called Benjamin and a girl Blue Flower!!

Mum2Ela - I always though with DD massaging ribs and top of belly with some warm oil helped - am getting DP ready to start that soon - ooohhhh joy!!

Have anomoly scan Monday 28th and 23 week scan on the 19th July so hopefully will be told everything is fine - am still scared even afer the CVS that all is not perfect!!

Have fun in Scraborough Bronze.

PP - low lying placenta can be really serious and lead to haemoraging appaently (have been watching discovery health) they had one woman who spent the last 3 months of her pregnancy in hospital just in case she went into labour!!

Hi All, glad to hear that everything is OK with everyone. Not posted much lately as I've not had much to report on!

Got out of the car the other day and took a tumble.... no idea how it happened. I just remember thinking, Oh God no, and instinctively put my arms up and wedged myself between the car and the drain pipe (pulling that of the wall in the process), then smacked my back up against our gate. I spent the whole night worrying about whether I had done any damage to the baby, but I think all is fine!!

I've got my scan a week tomorrow and am both excited and apprehensive about it. Normal I guess. Congrats to all of you that have already had the scan and been given the all clear, you can really enjoy your pregnancies now!

Good luck to all of those with scans over the next week or so!

Mum2E, I love the name Luca , congratulations.

Twinkie, my anomoly scan is the day after yours and I'm dreading it.

Who else is suffering badly in this heatwave? I thought I was going to puke on the train today.

Samcj · 16/06/2004 22:20

Oh, my scan is going to be late, not untill the 8th of july, nothing available sooner. You'll all be reassured before me! Pleased in some ways as both of us have the day off, so DP can come with me (it's him who's gagging to find out the sex!). We both think I'm having a boy, and the only name we both like, Twinkie, is Benjamin! Hope you don't mind, we agreed on it about two months ago, and us agreeing on anything is such a rarity!! Still arguing about the girls name...!

bunny2 · 16/06/2004 22:38

Benjamin is the best name in the world. My lovely lovely ds is called Benjamin. I want to call this baby Ben Jnr as I cant find another name I like as much!!!

gingernut · 16/06/2004 22:49

My anomaly scan isn't till 26th July . Don't know whether we'll find out the sex - still have to agree on that one with dh. We'll probably decide to find out and then little'un will have his/her legs crossed! I love the name Ben but if this one's another boy he'll be Jonathan. Don't know about a name for a girl. Can't really get my head around that one!

PandaBear, hope you are not too sore.

Webmum and Mum2Ela, glad everything went well at your scans. Mum2Ela, boys are fun, enjoy!

Hi Can I join you??

I am due on November 6th ish and have my anomoly scan on 8th July. I am currently in Belgium and have only been here three months, so don't know many people yet.
I have two boys already so am presuming this will be a boy too, but you never know......I would like a bit of pink, but blue is okay too as they are all close in age!

webmum · 22/06/2004 15:35
