Just had a BFP and wondered if anyone wanted to join me in the rollercoaster ride over the next few months

Lizzie sorry to hear your news. Take care of yourself xo

Thanks all for kind wishes. Funeral was very sad because of my aunt's young age. She was the same age as my mum so it was a real shock looking at our cousins and thinking about what life would be like for them without her. Have to count our blessings for every person we have and care about.

YompingJo I agree with others (including Lizzie) that you have nothing to be ashamed of. We're all a bit excited and up and down and excitedly passing on news. I think the fact you felt bad about posting tells everyone that you care about other people's feelings x

Angelico - sorry I've got lost on the thread and thought you had a MC - am so sorry for the loss of your aunt. Please excuse my inability to read properly, I'm having a very blonde day today! Will try harder next time...

missbone · 14/02/2012 17:47

Anyone watching 'Big Fat Gypsy Thieves Weddings' tonight??

Bear1984 · 14/02/2012 17:47

And for your loss too Angelico

TheGrandOldDuke · 14/02/2012 18:03

I have felt awful today, been at work, fell asleep at my desk at half two, and have battled the urge to barf all day. And my jeans are too tight.

On a plus note, anyone who saw my comment on Sunday about my unsupportive DH, I found my valentines day present in the fridge this morning. A big pot of cottage cheese. Seriously one happy lady.

litlan · 14/02/2012 18:07

god, im so sorry! this is awful! so many ! sending my love to all of you deepest sorrow, big hugs!!! hoping you all have a good support network for you xxxxx

lisbethsopposite · 14/02/2012 18:30

Lizzieb, sorry about your news. Nature might have known something... Have a nice cold glass of wine or two. Your turn will come.

bee1983 · 14/02/2012 18:34

Well, it's goodbye from me too, ladies - had my first scan this morning at 6+2 following some spotting and the scan just showed a sac measuring what they would expect at 4 weeks, and nothing else visible, so it looks like a MMC. They'll do one last scan next week but warned me that I might get heavy bleeding before then.

Thanks for all your great company and for keeping me laughing through the sore breasts and morning sickness :)

bee1983 · 14/02/2012 18:34

Lizzieb, sorry to hear you've had bad news too, and take care of yourself.

turnwest · 14/02/2012 18:35

Miss bone- I m def watching big fat gypsies , I can't wait! I love it.

Is anyone getting lots back cramps alternating with stomach cramps, they keep coming and going and are uncomfortable rather than painful. Did nt have any with first pregnancy.

DameFlatYouLent · 14/02/2012 18:37

go grandold's husband!! That made me Grin

I can so sympathise with how you feel too. This nausea is just awful, as reassuring as it may be. I'm getting myself all worked up about the possibility of twins....[terrified emoticon] I'm quite seriously considering taking a day off work tomorrow, leaving DS at the CM and having a day in bed. I had a minor op on Monday and am very sore, and trying not to tear my stitches whilst dealing with DS. It's basically the rancid icing on a really nasty rotten cake. Not that I'm not happy....don't want to sound ungrateful Sad. But I could really do with a night off...

turnwest · 14/02/2012 18:38

Bee- I posted before reading your post, I m so so sorry, thinking of you xxxx

DameFlatYouLent · 14/02/2012 18:38

DameFlatYouLent · 14/02/2012 18:39

Angelico · 14/02/2012 19:50

Bee and again Lizzie so sorry for your losses :(

And thank you beans and others on kind wishes after my aunt's death.

Sassee · 14/02/2012 19:53

So sorry to those who've lost.

Spotting here, terrified now, cue lots of tears. Got a drs appointment tomorrow so fingers crossed it stops and is just one of those things.

I dont feel like I did with my mc in November but I recall it started like this and ended badly and painfully about 4 days later.

Fingers and toes crossed!

missbone · 14/02/2012 19:58

Sassee, I'm so sorry you're fearful; I will be thinking of you tomorrow xx

TheGrandOldDuke · 14/02/2012 20:11

Got everything crossed for you sassee

turnwest · 14/02/2012 20:17

Fingers crossed sasee, if it's any consolation I had some spotting over the weekend and it seems to have cleared up on its own, hopefully you ll be the same xxx

Sassee · 14/02/2012 20:55

Thank you ladies. Feeling pretty scared but trying to at stay positive. Was only telling my friend (who I had to tell due to bridesmaid duties just before due date) that it felt to good to be true and I'm just not that lucky!

Beeblebear · 14/02/2012 21:32

Sassee - I had a tiny bit of spotting today, but I think it may have been due to the celebratory sex last night. lol I hear that is common.

Hope your appt goes well tomorrow and that it's just one of those things.
