Just had a BFP and wondered if anyone wanted to join me in the rollercoaster ride over the next few months

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Mum2G · 14/02/2012 04:08

Hi all, I just tested positive yesterday, Hampdenmum i can't sleep either and have just been snacking on my son's orange cheese puffs, very healthy! Hoping this one sticks after early m/c last year.

Bubblebell1 · 14/02/2012 05:23

I'm awake too. So tired yet can't sleep. I'm going to be asleep by 2pm Blush

HeeHeeHeeBum · 14/02/2012 07:37

How did everyone sleep? I didn't much at all!

BabyDustPlease · 14/02/2012 08:40

Congratulations to everyone with their recent positives!

HeeHeeHeeBum I didn't sleep very well either, been up for ages and its my day off so didn't even have to get up!! (I'm 6+3)

Littlepurpleprincess · 14/02/2012 09:08

Good morning!

I slept like a log! I had a 3 hour sleep yesturday afternoon, then slept from 9pm last night til 9am this morning.

I still woke up feeling exhausted and incredibly sick!

mmmm gaviscon for breakfast!

Angelico · 14/02/2012 09:14

Sympathy to the non-sleepers. I didn't sleep too badly but do keep waking up at night to pee - very annoying.

Funeral time here - an aunt passed away very young (fifties). We never really saw her but it's going to be very sad for my uncle and cousins. Better go get ready.

Littlepurpleprincess · 14/02/2012 10:29

Angelico I hope everything goes smoothly today.

Bear1984 · 14/02/2012 11:10

Hi Vcarroll and litlan

Ooo fab litlan what a great early birthday present Wink DP and DD's birthdays are 11 days apart.

Vcarroll I have suspected for a while, but two years ago, I was late and I'm never late and was so adamant I was PG that when I came on two weeks later, I was so devestated as if I had lost a baby, so I didn't want to get my hopes up this time round! But I spent more than a week being sick and my boobs are so sore too that I knew I just had to be.

So far I've told my three best friends and my work mates so they don't make me lift heavy boxes like I was doing 2 weeks ago! EEK! I've only been in this job since beginning of Dec, and my supervisor who I think doesn't like me much has already started saying about how I'm going to leave them etc. Oh well.

We're thinking of waiting until the scan before we tell DD. Not sure if we'll stick to that but we'll see lol!

Bear1984 · 14/02/2012 11:10

Angelico good luck with today.

missbone · 14/02/2012 11:52

angelico, sorry for your loss.

lizziebennet · 14/02/2012 12:37

Sadly it turns out that this baby wasn't to be. Waiting for the blood test to confirm, but it's pretty clear that I've miscarried.

Best of luck to everyone on the thread. I wish you all uneventful pregnancies.

BabyDustPlease · 14/02/2012 12:45

Beans1977 · 14/02/2012 14:56

Lizzie, I'm so very sorry to hear your news. I had a MMC last year and it was one of the most difficult experiences of my life. I hope you are surrounded by love and support in RL. Please put yourself first and do what you need to, when you need to. I promise that in time it does become easier, although I know it won't feel like that for quite a while... Thinking of you xxx

Beans1977 · 14/02/2012 15:03

Angelico, I have only just caught up on your events. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Words are not enough at this time, but my thoughts are with you. Mother nature can be so cruel sometimes. Please take all the time you need to rest and heal, I hope you have people in RL you can lean on - otherwise these boards were a comfort to me in my hour of need xx

YompingJo · 14/02/2012 15:19

Have asked for my second post up there to be removed. Feel very insensitive posting that after lizziebennet's news. [ashamed emoticon]. Sorry :-(

DameFlatYouLent · 14/02/2012 15:28

lizzie I'm so sorry, how heartbreaking. I wish you all the luck in the world and hope to see you on a thread like this very soon.

yompingjo I think that's the nature of these threads so early on - a sharp mix of excitement and sorrow.

Zoeplankton · 14/02/2012 15:35

It's ok yompingjo, these things happen. I don't judge you for it, I assumed you posted before checking the thread - something I've done (indelicately!) too.

So sorry lizziebennet, and for your loss too angelico.

lizziebennet · 14/02/2012 15:57

YompingJo please don't worry. It's right that you are excited and thinking about these things. Why shouldn't you be! Enjoy your good news.
