I am so glad it is good news - just try and stay positive now!

Is 7 weeks what you had estimated?

Glad your sticking around!

hermykne · 10/12/2003 11:15

dinosor and quackers we are due the same time, my date was given to me on monday asthe 27th july!
isnt that mad!.
littlerach i am trying to find your due date but this thread is now huge! like we'll all be in a few months!

M2T · 10/12/2003 11:19

Ahem Dinosaur...... By my calculations if your last AF was 27th Oct..... you were 6 weeks on Monday, not 7.

Don't you be sneaking extra weeks on here and there!!!

quackers · 10/12/2003 11:36

ROFL M2T!!!! Shame we can't in the early days!!!

7 weeks yesterday by LMP, 7 weeks today by scan. EXACTLY how I had it.

Anyone object to doing a roll call of due dates??
Always wanted to do that !

BTW, Jems did you speak to DP about the tripke test as well as me! How does he feel about it today?

SpringChicken · 10/12/2003 13:19

Didn't get the chance Quacks - he was meant to have his driving test this morning so didn't want to distract him when he was trying to get "focused" last night.

Test was cancelled due to bad weather - arseholes - it was only a bit of fog!

Will defo talk about it tonight - i don't think he'll disagree with me as i said yesterday!

Roll call - I'm due Due 9th July

Helsbels · 10/12/2003 13:21

Present and correct - all being well 15th July but 20th is my dads birthday so will try and cross legs until then!!

SpringChicken · 10/12/2003 13:31

That's mine too Helsbels - My mum and Dp think its hilarious the fact the the baby could arrive on my birthday!

I swear my mum thinks that just because she had to do it on her birthday then everyone should

madgirl · 10/12/2003 13:33

can you tell how constipated i am?

Helsbels · 10/12/2003 13:35

Not sure Madgirl - I'm the other way IYKWIM. A bit of constipation would be v nice about now!!!! (Joking - never wish for anything you don't really want )

M2T · 10/12/2003 13:35

Madgirl - I took Senakot when I was pg with ds. Is it the same thing?? The Doc told me to take that so should be fine. Poor you!!

madgirl · 10/12/2003 13:37

blimey i'm only 9 weeks on friday and already 80% of my wardrobe (ie the 80% that doesn't have elasticated waistbands) is out of bounds. my stomach is HUGE, and it's not baby (sorry- gross for all those eating lunch). yes indeedy senakot M2T is the same so i will take some. helsbels- eggs are good binders!

M2T · 10/12/2003 13:41

NICE Madgirl!

SpringChicken · 10/12/2003 14:04

I second that.................NICE MADGIRL!

You nearly put me off my supernoodles

quackers · 10/12/2003 15:00

Busy this thread now!!

Well my sister's birthday is the 9th, my DH's is the 20th and my Dad's is 5th August, so there's a fight in our house, who's going to get the nearest!!

Buggers cancelling Jems, hope he gets a re-test soon!
Fibogel is quite good for that BTW!

Freddiecat · 10/12/2003 15:18

pharmacist said i should take - um that stuff that begins with L that softens things. do not take it as much as suggested as it causes too much encouragement.

my brain is going. this morning was brushing my teeth when i heard DS crawling upstairs. went to accompany him taking toothbrush with him, all the while saying under my breath "swallow the toothpaste, do not spit". What did I do? Spat toothpaste all over the stair carpet.

My clothes are also way too tight now but I remember being in maternity stuff at 12 weeks last time and I am 11 weeks today.

SpringChicken · 10/12/2003 15:24

That quickly Feddie - blimey!

Saying that i only have 1 pair of jeans that fit me now - all my smart trousers for work ar too tight - i can do in the them for an hour or so but then they make my tummy hurt.

Have bought some jeans in a 14 - hopefully they will do me over Xmas so i don't look like a complete tramp wearing joggers all the time
Got a feeling it wont be a long wait before i need to start wearing maternity clothes although i suppose you never really know!

M2T · 10/12/2003 15:28

Springchicken - Don't worry if you don't get much wear out of the size 14's whilst your pregnant.... you'll get plenty of wear out of them afterwards!

Freddiecat · 10/12/2003 15:32

M2T don't depress her now!

Jems i decided to go early for maternity trousers partly because I was so damn excited about being pregnant. But also because I wanted to get lots of wear out of them and because you look smarter in maternity trousers pulled into the smallest setting than too-tight normal trousers. I had a great pair of cords from H&M which did me from 12 to 42 weeks. They are now my painting trousers as I got covered in paint doing DS's bedroom at 39 weeks.

SpringChicken · 10/12/2003 16:03

Thanks M2T - Can always rely on you - although my mum already had great pleasure in telling me this whilst out shopping on Sunday!

Have got a couple of pairs of joggers which will do for at home and slouching around and now have 2 pairs of jeans that fit - will just have to make do until i need Maternity Stuff
